We, the People of Biafra and the American people request assistance from President Donald Trump and Congress to intervene in Nigeria on behalf of the Biafran people who are experiencing genocide at the hands of the Nigerian military and Boko Haram.
Messages Sent So Far
The United States government has recognized in the past that there have been significant problems relating to the genocide of Christian populations in Nigeria. Nigeria is the number one on the list of nations where Christians are experiencing persecution and genocide. As of March 23, 2015 H. Resolution 53 was passed condemning the actions of Boko Haram and acknowledging that the Nigerian government did not protect all of its citizen. Since the passing of this bill the genocide has not only continued but has increased and shifted throughout the country. The Nigerian government has not complied with this resolution but has instead increased its efforts to single out and kill Biafran people specifically. To date there has been no US pressure to change the outcome. Our people are not protected by the government nor are we safe in Nigeria. Currently, we the Biafran people have no ally nor advocate to speak or act on our behalf. The human rights violations here go unanswered by the world.
As shown in an Amnesty International video that was presented to the UN. The genocide that is occurring against our people is clearly seen to be occurring at the hands of our own government. The government backed terrorist organization Boko Harm who has sworn allegiance to ISIL is also being used against us.
Biafran people including pregnant women, children, infants and men are being specifically targeted for rape, kidnapping and slaughter even as we speak. Many thousands of our people have simply disappeared under president Muhammadu Buhari's leadership.
Currently our leader Nnamdi Kanu is being held in a Nigerian prison by the Nigerian government under false accusations and trumped up charges. We also ask for your support for his release.
On January 20, 2017 we held a peaceful assembly and celebration in support of the election of President Donald Trump in Nigeria and we were gunned down by the security forces for no reason. Many whose hope rested in you died supporting you that day Mr President. One such wounded young man cried that he did not want to die before Biafra comes. He was denied the needed medical treatment and succumbed to his injures. He was only 20 years old.
As a people we are proud of our unique heritage, our history and our nation of people. We have lived as a nation and we desire to have our nation state returned to us...BIAFRA. We existed in the land long before there was a Nigeria. We have suffered through war, starvation and genocide of our people. It is unacceptable to think we can continue this any longer. We seek to have returned to us what is rightfully ours so we can finally raise our children in peace and safety... where we can once again build our homes, businesses, schools, hospitals and universities...so we can educate our children to become leaders in the world in every area of endeavor... so we can become a productive and free nation again without the constant internal threat of genocide against us. It is time for the world to recognize us for the nation that we are. Our prayer is that you will intervene on our behalf and help us to realize our dream, a dream we believe is inspired by God. We dream of freedom same as you. Mr President we would like to thank you for hearing our request. We are believers in the same Savior as you. We pray for you and believe you are a great man that was picked by God for such a time as this. May God bless you as you lead your nation. May God bless the coming of Biafra too.

I fully support the the Biafran people and I fully support their efforts to reestablish their nation apart from Nigeria. Genocide, rape, torture and marginalization are unacceptable conditions to expect any population of people to live in. I request that the Congress and President Donald J. Trump to act swiftly.on behalf of the Persecuted Biafran people. To date there has been little notice by the world as they have stood by doing nothing while people are being slaughtered day after day by their own government and by the terrorist group Boko Haram. We have a responsibility before God if we become aware of such things and yet do nothing. We will be held accountable. Proverbs 24:11-12 New International Version (NIV) 11 Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. 12 If you say, ?But we knew nothing about this,? does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?
