Stop the French war in Mali

As Francois Hollande unilaterally wages a war to supposedly fight terrorism in Northern Mali and America participating in this war would bring death and destruction not the jobs that are sorely needed.

Earlier this month, French President Francois Hollande unilaterally ordered planes to bomb rebel strongholds in Northern Mali. As the state has substaintal uranium, gold and undiscovered oil, there is a possible draw-in of the United States. In addition, due to counter-terrorist funding going to nearby countries, it seems that this could be another draw. I urge you as decision-makers of the federal government to pledge to push to not lend covert, military or economic support to the French military intervention. Instead I urge you to push for a peaceful solution to this conflict, humanitarian assistance lead by the UN and the creation of new, durable jobs instead of participating in yet another war.
