Dear President Joe Biden:
Dear Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R IA):
Dear Sen. Joni Ernst (R IA):
Dear Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-1):

DHS- department of human services and Waterloo police Department took my son without a warrant when he hopped our locked gate to hang out with a friend whose mother was home. It has been over 8 months and the DHS worker, Sydney Lashbrook, is refusing to progress my case. Case # JVJV020097 Black Hawk County, Iowa. We have proven to the judge, with evidence, that she has lied throughout this case. I have been treated so unfair. My son as well, we don't deserve this torture. I have done everything DHS has asked of me and more but they are refusing to progress so that my son and I can reunify. I have made leaps and bounds of progress and I've jumped through all of their hoops but apparently it isn't enough; Substance abuse evaluation, 24 weeks of parenting classes , multiple hair strand tests and random UA's, all negative, and much more, to reunify with my 5 year old son. I ask that the court support the return of Alexander Reyes back to the only thing he has ever known, his mother. The unnecessary continued removal has caused trauma on both my son and I who had never been apart before his before on September 20th 2021. 8 months into this and doing everything DHS says, I still only see him for 6 to 8 hours a week. Help me bring back my son and help all the mothers and broken families out there to end the corruption of Child protection Services and the unnecessary removal of children out of good homes.
