Urge the CDC to take action against surging unexplained disease

Messages Sent So Far
Thousands of people around the world, and the numbers continue to grow, are complaining of symptoms which include: crawling sensation, severe itching, stinging bites, skin sores and pimple-like bite marks. We continue to visit doctors and spend our money on senseless remedies, in a desperate attempt to put an end to our suffering. Many believe is microscopic mites, others believe is Morgellons...but in the end, none of us know with certainty what is the cause of this horrible affliction
We need Congress help urge the CDC to look closely and seriously into this mysterious disease that is plaguing and ruining the lives of thousands of people around the world. Urge the DEP investigate the pests responsible for this infestation.
Please take our plead seriously and help us !

It's a mite it's scabies it's super scabies it's a bird mite rat mite fox mite it's morgellons it's collembola it's a fungus. WELL OBVIOUSLY IT'S SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT PPL. It is not a one size fits all. The one thing we know is people are suffering from microscopic skin parasites and permithrin isn't cutting it. We can put people on the moon....find a cure for HIV TRANSMISSION but skin parasites.....nobody wants to hear about it. Tesla's cold bath or the shocking pools in Japan might zap them. I believe copius amounts of high parcentage rotenone would do it. I would take the risk since it still beats blowing your head off. Yes if TIME magazine did an in depth article it might generate momentum on cures. My life has been hell on earth for 4 years straight and every day an excercise in suffering. Can't take much more. CDC please put a mass mailing out to all health professionals and dermatlogists that there is a surge in emerging skin parasites that have here to for been little understood and caution health professionals against blithely throwing around the label delusional parasitosis.

I wanted to correct a few things. My work place was infested. Not my home. I think that helped me be able to get rid of this easier. Also I just checked out THE UNKNOWN CATS MORGELLONS SITE and saw that he has put together a potassium iodide solution to treat the fungus that he had. Which was tested and came back as SPORO SCHENKII. This worked for him. Looking at his new video and see him he looks sbdcsounds so much healthier. He using this to treat morgellons. Which he believes is a skin fungus called sporo schenkii. Lots of bugs and mites and springtails are attracted to fungus. So he's coming from that experience and diagnosis. I think fungus is involved in both bird mites and morgellons. So maybe he is onto something. He sure looks stronger and healthier. U can order potassium iodide on line yourself. U don't have to purchase his. How ever if you have thyroid problems don't take it. I think a person from Houston pointed that out and he is right. Anyway I still think the unknown cats videos are informative and worth watching. Glad to see he's doing better. Maybe cured. I havnt gone into comments on his YouTube site yet to see what people are saying. Time will tell.

Hi there Lexington ky Yes. I have studied this till my eyes crossed and my brain felt like it was going to explode. It's actually been several years for me since I struggled with this. But I've never ever forgotten it. I still am trying to understand exactly what happened. I've written about it here before couple of times. This is really designed to be a post and comment board but I see a lot of people talking back and forth so.... i respond too ☺️ Even tho I don't have it now, I have a rental home in Arizona where my renter is struggling with it. I'm pretty sure there is water accumulating under the house. And I KNOW there is a tiny hole in the roof. We never had issues with this house in the 10 yrs we owned it. The house is a great house but it WAAAAY out in the boonies and I can't find a Plummer to come check things out within a 75 mile radius. She gets rid of them for a while then they come back. Her room mates r not affected by it at all. She is diabetic and doesn't eat right. I truly believe diet has a lot to do with why some family members r affected and others are not. My friend is very tidy and clean and I've never really thought that had anything to do with it either. As far as why we get it. I'm very clean and tidy too. I got. But mine was from a building I worked in. There was leak in the roof. The building was over 40 yrs old. All sorts of mice and pigeons were living in the attic of the building. I think that why I was able to get rid of it easier. It was my home that was infested. But it still took several years to my life back in control. How ever I'm not diabetic. In fact I ran a health food store at the time. Was young and healthy. Skinny. Exercised and ate right. Maybe diabetis doesn't have anything to do with it. Or maybe that helped me get rid of it faster. It's still kind of mysterious to me. But I don't think it's something the government is doing or all those kind of crazy ideas. Lol. But I still get on line every day and read read read. Talk with other and THINK ABOUR IT A LOT! My husband never got even one bite or one single itch!! I did find a guy on YouTube goes by the name of The Unknown cat. There is also a jerk that goes by unknown cat. So make sure you put in the word THE unknown cat. He also thinks fungus is involved. It's a long video but it's worth watching. I think put in The unknown cat morgellons and it will come up. It's been awhile since I've been to his YouTube site. He's just a dude. Not selling anything but talks about his experience. He also thinks the fungus SPORO SCHENKII is involved. He use potassium iodide to help get rid of it. In fact if I remember correctly he tested positive for SPORO SCHENKII. At the end of the video he shows what his skin looked like when he had the lesions and sores and when he was so ill. It's informative. I reccomend watching it. I'm always open to any new thoughts from people so I can help my friend that has this now. I don't see myself ever living there again because of this. I just wouldn't take the chance. I'm not in good health like I was when I got this. So if a healthy immune system does have anything to do with it, I just don't think exposing myself is wise. It's very sad. I have many unusual antiques and one of kind things that I've collected and made in that house. Including a kiln in my art studio. My renter went into my art studio and came out covered in mites. She had stores some clothing in those big Rubbermaid tubs and said the clothing in them was covered in little white things like eggs! All of my thread for sewing was infested and of course all my fabric. Very very sad. The CDC or SOMEONE HAS TO START EXCEPTING THIS IS REAL! People are suffering. Take care all. Look forward to hearing from people and learning more!

Hi Houston Over the years I have had to resort to getting medications for MYSELF at a pet meds website. It is the EXACT SAME MEDICATION and cost dollars instead of hundreds of dollars. You may have to get it in a lower dose and take more to equal that which your dr is prescribing that your insurance won't cover. That just makes me SOOOO flipping mad. So try petrx.com. Or just google in the name Of the medication u want and write pet meds after it. You will find a couple of sites pop up that carry itraconazole. They also carry regular antibiotic that humans take. Many many people resort to this means of getting meds. Some don't like going to doctors so treat themselves. Others can't get what their dr is prescribing. Some people actually order it for their pets!! Lol. Imagine that. Most of these I can get without an rx. But it sounds like your dr is writing one for you anyway. Yes. Death does seem easier. But don't do it. You've got a dr on your side. Someone that believes in you. Most people don't even have that! Now you know where you can get the meds you need. Your half way there! really really watch your diet. Cut out the sugars and yes fruits too. Even healthy carbs got to go.... for now. Find and fix the water or moisture leaks in your house. Look around the base of your foundation. Look under all your sinks. Check out your washer and dish washer. Make sure no leaks there that could be causing a problem. Creating decay that makes fungus and mold grow. You actually breath that in. Then it's inside of you. That's when some of the mites and different bugs start following you around. Lol. Check your eves and nearby trees for birds nest. Replace your furnace filter. Same with AC. If it's a window unit look on youtube how to do clean AC of mold. All these things will help. I gave you some good info. So check out the pet meds. Tell ur dr what ur doing and get started taking them ASAP!! get back to your life. this has got to be the worst scourge. Made even worse when dr and family won't believe you. You know back in the 1200s. If you told a health practitioner that u had bugs, they believed you. It was not uncommon for bodies or homes to be infested with something at any given time. Living was dirty. But now because we are so much more sufisticated bunch no one thinks it's possible. We know better. Ask the people.

On the fungus topic, I've been trying to get itraconazole through my integrative medicine doc. Just got a phone call from the #$%^ers at the insurance co. that the Rx was denied. It's over $400 for 30 pills vs. $15 with insurance and I've been out of work for over a year (still have COBRA for a few more months), so there is no option to go around them. Part of the problem is that she wanted me to take 4x the dose that the insurance co. has in their system. But she knows that that is necessary. Who's the #$%&ing doctor these days, anyway? The flunkies at the insurance co's! We are dead unless somebody gets the attention of the right people (60 Minutes?). Actually, I'd really like to be dead...it would be so much more comfortable and tolerable than my existence is now.

Wow Redmond, WA you hit the nail right on the head!! You are very knowledgeable and pretty much summed up what needs to be done. Great advice! Your prob like me and have studied this until your eyes cross!!! I completely agree with you!! I believe the approach is to say you think you have a fungal and/or bacteria infection just as you said!! For one it will help with the problem...not sure if the insects came before fungus or if fungus came first but either way insects are drawn to the fungus so have to attempt to take the fungus away so they will have nothing to be attracted to. I truly believe there are insects crawling and biting which stings but when you say 'bugs' your immediately disregarded so yes we should say "a pinching sensation similiar to a bee sting" or something to that nature so we are not immediately disregarded. I told my doctor that I had read about fungal infections and read that it can cause a stinging sensation. He didnt disregard me because I didnt say that it was bugs. I was started on ketoconazole cream and that helps alot since its an antifungal cream so yep your on to something Redmond!!!

Hi Fargo yes that was a really good book. In regards to both about mites and how the medical association works, and how doctors seem to navigate and negate through out. Another really good book, I found both to be helpful was THE YEAR OF THE MITE. By Jane Ishka. She had the good luck of being a cell biologist and was able to get help through her colleagues a lot easier than the average person infested with mites. She also was able to great info from Dr Olivier Spatangano. He is a veterinarian that just happens to specialize in mites. Ihis book includes the NEW scientific info re: bird mites and what they have learned since 1930s. I think it's the understanding of the scientific timeline of mites on humans. It's on the back of the book I believe. In the 1930s it was believed bird mites could not survive on humans. It was believed they would not/ could not consume human blood and survive. That has been proven false. Human blood cells were found in the gut of a D Galianue mite. ( I just KNOW I SPELLED THAT WRONG) It was also found that bird mites could live and reproduce consuming human blood. It was found that bird mites can and do infest homes, clothing, cars, basically everything. Also SO MUCH old info and false info, stating they do not carry or ca not transmit disease. That is false. These tiny little creatures can make you your family and your pets very ill. I highly teccomend both of these books. People should also concider these mites carry bacteria and fungus. The fungus creates the same feeling of biting stinging and crawling as the mites do. In fact some people think they have gotten rid of the mites because they are no longer seeing them like they had been. But are still itching like crazy. Feeling bites and not sleeping. I think the lesions that don't heal is from the fungus. Fungus spreads by growing fibers or threads. A lot of people say these more dust in their homes after they got the itch. Also see little tiny white fluff floating around. That too is from the fungus. People may find they get more help if they go to the dr saying they think they have a fungus growing on their skin. Tell them you had it once before but that dr retired or lived in another state. Say he gave you both an anti fungal and antibiotic. Yes. You might have to lie to get the attention you deserve. But at least you have a better chance of being taken seriously and maybe treated fairly and reasonably. Sometimes you have to come from a different angle when dealing with doctors. They KNOW that there are skin fungi. They may not know anything about them, but they will believe in that WAY before they believe you when you say you have invisible bugs. Lol. For gods sake, don't talk about the government trying to do population control, or that the gov was playing with something that got loose and you have it. Don't talk about Chem trails. Don't talk about being a targeted individual or they will not only laugh you out of their office, there maybe some men in white Coates waiting to greet you. I'm not saying those things couldn't happen. I'm saying YOU can't prove it. But fungus is real. It does affect people and pets. Their are also a lot of little bugs that are attracted to fungus. They like to eat it. So you maybe attracting bugs. Your home may have a leak somewhere that is making the wood decay. Fungus grows in this wood. This attract bugs. I see many people mention it seems their home has more variety of bugs than they have ever noticed before. These bugs that eat fungus are often microscopic. Then there are the bugs that Kay like to eat other bugs. So see, there could be a couple different things going on.

We all know how aggressive, subtle and contagious this is. We are not poised for an epidemic we are already there. This is a silent epidemic because of shame and stigma of having bugs. When restless leg syndrome was first publically acknowledged then umpteen billion ppl suddenly came forward w it. If TIME magazaine did an in depth on skin emerging skin parasites (resistant scabies, morgellons, collembola, aggressive mutant animal mites, demodex with teeth, rosacea acne link to demodex etc. etc.) then suddenly millions and millions will likely come forward. TIME magazine or some such doing an expose. I myself have suffered beyond human comprehension and have spent thousands and have had trouble working or even just getting through the day. I believe the freakshow mites I have carry a secondary bacteria that leaves one stranded on the toilet with IBS as well. The itching biting burrows track marks crawling swarming sensations plus eyes that tear from mites.... I refuse to accept this living hell called infestation much longer. God help us all.

Thank you, Houston - Excellent post. My exposure was over a year ago - A long, challenging year. Overwhelmed with fear and daily chores, I initially exhausted myself both mentally and physically. The early days seemed unsurvivable without any support from so called family, friends and especially our health providers - Even all these months later. Thankfully, the community here gave me strength when anyone else would have doubted their own sanity. I've had a variety of symptoms, but the most irritating and alarming was the chronic crawling and subtle digging at my scalp usually in the early morning, but often throughout my day. I had really only suffered with that for the first two months, but alas, they have returned this week. So once again, I'm trying various, uncertain measures to diminish or eliminate this agonizing hell. The most troubling aspect is the complete failure of the insurance I currently have. I quickly grew tired of the copays for a lack of medical interest, knowledge or answers. As a rational person, I found myself uncharacteristically emabarrassed to share my symptoms, or even ask questions, for the fear of appearing delusional or unstable. This is most hurtful when someone close to you assumes you have just picked up a popular and purely psychological internet condition. So, I have suffered in silence at least an hour every day from the heavier symptoms and the reminders they bring of the loss of relationships and many expected freedoms stifled by this new pandemic. How many people must come forward before anything is done? Please step up CDC - All of us are counting on you.

Dear Congress, Please take immediate action to charge the CDC with investigating this rapidly spreading skin parasite epidemic immediately. Kindly read some of the posts below and note the widespread locations represented. This highly-contagious, life-altering DISEASE is just a dressing room or restaurant visit away from you or a loved one. The first thing that needs to happen is for ALL physicians to be forbidden to brush off a desperate patient with a diagnosis of "Delusional Parasitosis" or "Delusions of Parasitosis". This is a slam to good, sane, taxpaying parents and working people who are so overwhelmed with trying to cope with the lack of sleep and physical discomfort caused by these REAL insects (we can show you samples or just give you a hug and let you catch it yourself) that we are struggling or failing with all of our life duties, and have long since said goodbye to any thoughts of pleasure. Committing and/or giving psych meds to people who are being tortured by crawling, biting, digging skin parasites does not make medical sense, and it interferes with the victims' ability to carry out the intensive personal and environmental hygiene rituals they have developed to cut down on the insect population (it's currently impossible to eliminate them), thus promoting the spread of the disease. This is not the America we were raised in and pay taxes to...even third world countries (where this undoubtedly came from) take skin parasites seriously and have treatment for it. Which brings us to the second thing we need you to do -- fund fast-track research to find a CURE for the human infestation (this is not scabies and does not respond to the strongest meds available in the US) and make the cure affordable and widely available to all sufferers. The third thing we need from you is public acknowledgement that this is real, not delusional, and lastly, we need mandatory identification and effective treatment of all affected public spaces. Without these actions on the part of Congress, the CDC, and the medical community, the people who have made America great will fall victim, one by one, to this plague of mites, and America will never be great again. Thank you.

This silent epidemic has gone to far with the CDC not making it a priority. Many thousands of cases reported all over the United States with many people suffering from these resistant parasites/ mites. Just here in Los Angeles alone 25% of all resistant parasites/ scabies/ mites cases are reported worldwide here and the medical system lacks knowledge in combating these mites that are resistant to the only available medications that are available to the public. Permithrin and Ivermectin no longer provides cures for the individuals that are infected and many sufferers have no choice but to self medicate with poisons, etc. while still not getting cured. We need the United States Government and the C.D.C. to take this as an urgent matter. The public know that its contagious but what many people dont know is that if an infected person touches an object then the next person that comes along touches that same object then the percentage of that person getting infected is very high. This includes concerns for our public transportation and in high volume areas of people. We know the CDC is aware of this but is not making this a priority. We need your help. We need your full undivided attention on this matter. I am a sufferer, an infected person that's been battling this disease for years. We need your help. We truly need a cure!

I have lost 20 lbs in 2 months. I can't eat, I can't sleep. I am embarrassed of how all of these sores look. There are thousands of people who are suffering with this. Doctors which I have been to 3 don't even want to hear the problem. They say I am crazy. I am not crazy yet. But if I don't get help, I will be. They crawl and bite or stick, whatever they do. I believe my boyfriends' health is caused by the same problem. He has almost died twice in the last 2 months. Please help us President Trump!!! I believe in you and voted for you. I have posted in the past, several times, all it gets me is a courtesy email from my state senator/Congress person referring that the Morgellon issue is solved more or less based on that last lame study. I object to petition administrator to include 'Morgellon', too much negative stigma attached & will not get the attention we need. Recent post on this now 'Blog' site, as we are talking amongst ourselves has become more interesting & I am able to relate & support a few thesis proposed, Especially the ones supporting a mutant zoonotic outbreak, known before in the animal world, now taken over to infest humans as a host switching of sorts. I also agree with the fungal, mite, insect connection, plus the hair involvement. I observed/experienced it for 10 years, after a serious massive Ceiling collapse during a rainy season, there was an infested attic crawl space for sure, there was sustained water damage, there was pre-existing mold to begin with ( structural damage also means Asbestos/Lead contamination in older buildings). To this day I am plagued with tiny fungal gnats of sorts, trailing hair like appentiture, these things are not noticeable in casual contact, with sustained focused observation YES, from the outside in, as these things blend in with the skin because of their wispy beige appearance, plus quick moving, again once airborne, in bright light observable. It feels like 'lice/fleas' constantly, tactile, visual all the time. Crueling. Clearly Keratin loving, CO2 , moisture attracted, evidenced by the facial cavities, nose, eyes, ears, privates, skin is major embedded with these things, a 'scabies' related existence. It is devastating to live like a leper for so long, plus ridiculed by the medical professionals, alwasy keeping face in public, family, friends, not to appear more deranged then this condition/existence inflicts.

CDC needs to address bird and rat mite and other zoonotic mite infestations IMMEDIATELY. No matter what entomologists say, they ARE permanently hosting on people for years and they have outdated information. There is no cure or research. Please get on this immediately! It is so contagious that odds are one of you will contract it too. Mite physiology is very different--what affects insect nervous systems does NOT affect mites such as: permethrin, ivermectin and other useless treatments. This is a dangerous public health crisis!

My friend and I had just spent a few minutes in a hotel in Lanham, MD., when we were attacked by parasites you cannot see unless you have a magnifying glass and flashlight. They're about the size salt and smaller and they multiply fast. By the next day, my friend and myself can feel the bites of these critters more and unbearable. My friend had made at three visits to the doctor before she made a major complaint to the supervisor in charge. They then verified her complaints of these microorganisms, but they cannot tell her what they are nor prescribe a medication for her. I have yet been lucky; I am in another state where the doctors have gotten too scared to get close enough to observe them, even though I can see them. I wear bifocals and I can see them on my eyelashes without the glasses. I was given a urinalysis test to verify I am not hallucinating. I have been to four hospitals explaining to them in my eyes (with pictures) and complaints of them in my throat also. Daily, I can pluck one or from out of my mouth. I would love to know if anyone can assist me to what I can do to remedy this problem; THANX

This problem only makes sense to day its fungus related! I notice that insects are attracted to it ...and in the end the fungus infects the insect which infects you. Some how the mysterious fungus has advanced abilities. It's mobile thru it's strands, which seems to be capable of moving a piece of hair. Hair is taken over by the "It" and it seems like it becomes like a part of the hair... it almost acts alive and theres a little piece at the tip of the string/hair that twists like a mimiature drill or so. That's the poking feeling you feel. A Fungus is known to strip the carotene in hair when it over takes it...and you'll notice your hair starts getting lighter to possible turn gray. You may feel crawling sensations but notice there's no wind to cause the hair to move. There will be an accumulation of strings on surfaces.. especially dark or all black surfaces. The strings/hair eventually turn white ( fungus feeding on carotene to strip the color like a fungus). Problem is worse at night, it would eventually go away after 4 to 5 days after doing strict and extreme deep cleaning regimes but still it returns after months pass! When they move or you detect crawling feelings or movement, ???...you'll notice it happens all at once as if they are all communicating. Had home fumigated nearly 10 times and helped until the next episode! No pestiside could eliminate it completely! I think those infected have low immune systems and may have had a horrible bite infection from an insect or parasite (ex. Spider, tick, etc). The bite may have been bad and It could have possibly been when it was introduced in blood stream or system. That's why people move to new homes, change everything and still realize it comes back... it's you that's carrying it around and until it is killed or eliminated... you're still going to have the problem since its in/on you unknowingly. I attracted flies, always found dead insects, had heavy dust and noticed line trails carved in new painted walls as if something thinner than hair was traveling on the walls but strong enough to leave squiggly line impressions which kept increasing and spreading more as time passed. CDC needs to realize this is too many people with same issue! Do something!

So Nicolas from wrentham Massachusetts, What's up? How is your new job going with department of environmental protection ( I think). How's it going talking to people about this problem and getting someone there to WILLINGLY identify this mite, fungus, morgellons and help us and you out? I know you were excited to get us some attention. Any luck?? Or did you find when you started talking about it, find that they thought you were just crazy and got fired. Gee, I sure hope not. Really. Keep us in mind. Someone from Houston wrote today about going public in a big way. But fear of being labeled stops people. Yep it does. But I have found at least 4-5 new blurbs about this problem. In fact one was a DOCTOR, he thinks he got it from one of his patients that he was trying to help. When he himself sought outvhelp from his colleagues of many years, they labeled him! So awful. He is now so sick he can longer work. It is now through out his whole system. Another one was a young married couple on the news, talking about there Bodies and whole house being infested with invisible bugs. Another was also a married couple. Older. The wife had it the husband did not. But he absolutely believed her. They also had microscopes to show what they found. Intact that couple had a doctor that believed them, but couldn't figure it out. So there are people talking out loud about it. There are other news clips I've seen too. I was trying to find them and post the web address, but it late and I can't locate them. But when I do I will post them. Take care

Hey there L A. Yes ur right this has turned into a blog. But that's ok I think. I like your idea of contacting a major magazine that covers life events. Like TIME. So I looked on line trying to find contact info re: how to contact them to give story line. But all I'm seeing is subscription info. There r a few numbers to call. Maybe someone could get directed and connected to the correct department that way. It's Saturday. So of course no one is answering. Or maybe we could start emailing, I MEAN ALL OF US- email our story to them. They need to be inundated with emails regarding what's happening. But here's the thing. We CAN NOT SOUND CRAZY!!! That's means no talking about the government killing off population. Or even Chem trails. I'm not saying I don't think chemtrails aren't a problem. They are. I think they cause lots of problems. But I don't think it's this one. I think what is happening to us is more down to earth. Something found in nature that is natural, but somewhere there has been a cross contamination. we just don't have enough proof to show Chem trails are responsible for THIS PROBLEM.. we just can't talk about that until there is proof. The proof we do have is bite marks, that don't heal, we can talk about the agonizing itch. The lack of sleep. The black specks people find in their beds, or on their walls. If you have a bug infestation of springtails or tiny flies, write about what you can prove if you were ever asked to asked to show it. Write about if it spread to other family members. Write about your pets if they are sick and itching too. Some people have been lucky enough to have drs do a skin biopsy Tho no bugs were found, there did find Agro bacterium. That is mold or fungus. Some people did have doctors confirm it was a bed mite. Write about that. But have proof to back it up. What I believe is happening is some people are getting a skin fungus that attracts bugs..... those are the people that are finding a variety of different bugs in different stages of life. Others are getting bit, possible by rat / bird mites that carry a fungus or other bacterium. It's the old which came first the chicken or the egg! Lol. Please if this to be done try your hardest to keep your email to what you DO KNOW FOR SURE. For those of you that know EXACTLY when you came into contact with skin issue include that. For those that don't know, start you story the day you first noticed the itch , what it felt like, what it looks, how long you've had it, how many others you know that have it, or people you KNOW got it from you. Do others at work have it. It's tricky. I read of one lady that was sitting in an airport chair waiting for the plane and said not long after she sat down she felt like this "BLOOM" or like a cloud of something just all of a sudden start crawling and biting all over her. But that doesn't mean she got it from sitting in that chair, she may have got it from sleeping in a bed where she visiting, maybe a hotel bed. but the bugs just happened to become active in that moment in that chair at that airport. so maybe it will help with some of you to think back to like a month before you got this, where were you, what were you doing, who did you hug, did you use use a towel at a health club or a hotel did you sleep in a bed not your own, sit on a couch that sits out on a porch things like that. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't start talking about being a targeted individual, or other things you can't prove. Talk about how it has affected your ability to work. Or that your so afraid of giving it to people you know and love, you no longer see your family members. Talk about what things youve used to try and rid your body and home of this scourge We need to at least sound sane to get their attention. I know bird and rat mites are often found in old homes that have been abandoned. Critters start living there eventually. Then someone comes and buys the house and property. Maybe that house infested with mites. Homes that are left empty with no heat often begin to grow mold and fungus. The builders or people flipping the house wouldn't even know it! These mites are so ferocious and determined to survive, that even if the house was bull dozed doesn't mean the mites wouldn't still be on the dirt where a new house is being built. Could that be a possible transmission of these mites?? I dunno. I think mites, Lyme, and morgellons are all related in someway. My personal thought is that morgellons is a skin fungus that attracts bugs that eat this fungus. The fibers that people are finding in their sores and skin lesion are the fungus. If you study different fungi that is found in dirt or old decaying wood, this is how the fungi travels is by making threads. Read about this fungus: SPORO SCHENKII. Wiki has a good blurb on it. Read ALL OF IT. NOT just the first part and you will understand why I think what I do. In fact, on wiki they show a pic of sporo schenkii. I have seen that EXACT SAME THING in slides under microscopes that have skin scrappings on it. Read about sporotrichosis. Some people are deathly sick. This has even affected their lungs and whole lymph system. Fungus can do that. Ok. That's all I got. If someone could dig deeper on the internet to find how and who to send our stories to at time and post it, would be great. Since doctors aren't able or don't want to help we have to do it ourselves. I wonder if the DISCOVER magazine would be good too? OK all, take care. Good idea LA

Note: There is more than one "Someone from Houston" who posts here. Houston is a biiiiiig city. Anyway, all we're doing here is venting. This is a petition to Congress, not to the CDC, and (sorry for getting political) look at what this new Congress is doing for safety of the common person. Absolutely flarking nothing! The environment is about to get dirtier and our food supply is about to become even more unsafe thanks to the new cadre at the top and their dismantling of the EPA, essentially. The only potential bright spot here is that it MIGHT be that with the relaxation of pesticide restrictions, they might allow a "hammer" that can finally provide us relief. The key will be to get the attention of the right people. Who would that be, and who among us has the guts to make this public in a big way? (Not me.)

OK this started out as a petition and has morphed into a blog. Probably because ppl need an outlet to vent deep deep frustration. Yes we are getting eatin alive. For some it's Collembola for others Morgellons and others some freakshow animal mites on steroids or mutant aggressive scabies. In the end the medical establishment has failed the vast majority of us. Perhaps a letter to TIME magazine urging them to give voice to a previously silent epidemic: Skin parasites. If the word gets out absolutely millions will come forward. There is a commonality of our stories in that we have been dismissed and left to fend for ourselves without access to real deal mite/bug killers like a high percentage rotenone. I'm to the point i will try a controversial chemical over blowing my head off because of the grave discomfort of being in the body. Something's gotta give.

I have been suffering with this for over a year now. Constant biting, crawling feeling on my body and scalp. Very disturbing. Please help put an end to this! I've been to many family doctors and dermatologists and no one has been able to help me. It's frustrating to say the least.
