System is not to benefit the child, it is a child killer, it is definitely all about the money, the system can careless about your child, but as long as they can keep receiving your funds for state taxes and federal funding, their satisfied, thats the reason they go after the fathers so hard. I also found that each enforcement agency get large bonuses from the government for enforcing so many cases. i am a caring father that have been abused by the system since 1996 and it is time for a change, and I've been a victim of abuse since 1996 by this corrupt system and someone needs to address this issues quick. -

I am not opposed to paying child support however everyone shouldn't be treated as if they are a deadbeat. I pay child support and yet have to jump through hoops to see my child. The laws should be adjusted to include visitation rights along with monetary requirements as it takes more than just money to raise a child. Also, revoking a passport is absurd for a dad that is paying regularly. There are actual criminals that are able to leave the country. So I'm a criminal because I fell behind on a $1000 per month agreement because I was laid off???? Stupid.REPORT COMMENTS

The issue I am having with the Texas ATG office is that in 2012 my son was 14 and decided to live with me. My ex-wife filed for child support even though my son was with me and received 4 court hearings until her case was dismissed. I filed on my ex in 2012 and have yet to receive a hearing. I have called written letters and filed complaints. The ATG?s office has seemed to do everything to bury my case. Is this how it works for men?REPORT COMMENTS

Why is it just because I have a good paying job I need to pay my ex 1250 a month it does not cost this much to raise my two girls. I don't have an issue paying for my children. My issue is my money is used to support my ex her boyfriend their son and my two daughters how is this right? How is his income not taken in consideration? I live on nothing I work hard. If I have to pay this amount monthly I want to see half the money go into a college fund for each of my daughters not to be touched by the mother. This money I pay is for my children not her new car their new house their vacations and yet she wants me to pay for my daughters dance class. Child Support really needs to be reviewed this so called percentage is so unfair. I might as well quit my job and work for min. wage.What a rip off.REPORT COMMENTS

These laws unfortunately will never be changed. The United States government does not care about its citizen! Therefore we as honest hardworking men should put the law in our own hands by any means necessary since the individuals we pay to uphold the constitution don't! I have been raked over by the lawyers I've hired to represent me and a judge who I proved to that my ex was a fraud, a thief, and in contempt of a court order and they all looked the other way. Well to hell with them!!! They have started a war with me that in the end we all lose!!! The best interest of the child has never been and never will be in the interest of the legal system! Child support enforcement is a 10 billion dollar a year industry for the government nothing more and nothing less!!REPORT COMMENTS

the laws are so unfair on child support! my husband and I separated for a couple of months because he cheated on me with a waitress at work. we ended up getting back together 6 months later, we had 2 kids at the time (now 3). she contacts me on FB right before mothers day to tell me shes 6months pregnant with his kid! but she has a "fiancé" and only wants him to sign his rights away. she named him after her "fiancé" at the time! my husband and I spoke it over read over the laws and you cant sign your rights away you have to be married to this guy and he needs to be willing to adopt the kid. and who know if she was just bitter and tring to separate us again for him coming back to me. he wasn't there during her pregnancy nor for birth.. her fiancé was the new dad she claimed.. we left it at that and moved on with our lives tring to fix it the trust that was broken... 3 years later we get child support papers in the mail! now she wants a paternity test and back child support and monthy child support! all because it didn't work out with her "fiancé"... my husband doesn't work. he stays home watching our kids while I work and so I can provide for us all. he has no DL nor car im the one with both. and no one will hire him for his drug charge record when he was 18 now 30! we tried telling this to the courts and they weren't hearing it. they said we are going to put it down as if he works minimum wage + back child support comes out to $260 a month. !?! what!! he doesn't work! there comment was find a job and sitter! like its that easy.. my oldest is autistic and we have a baby that's VERY costly! I sure as hell am not paying for her kid! that wasn't my mistake. its so unfair! so because he cant find a job and cant pay they will put him in jail and take him away from the kids he loves and is very much a part of there lives!? how is that justice!? SHE wanted to have this kid she should be a woman and take care of it then! not go back an forth guy to guy to pay her way! greedy homewrecker! these laws need to change. she knew he was married! shes come over for DINNER! so hes not the only one to blame.. she is too! yet the court sees oh poor her.. how about poor wife and her kids that are also suffering over this financially and emotionally! its BS! she needs to also pay for ruining our marriage! sending pic txt messages of her to my phone. not letting me forget what shes done! like where is the line drawn!? courts ignore all that! oh poor girl shes on her own with this kid.. well she should of kept her hands of my HUSBAND and kept her legs closed! The us la is very unfair when it comes to joint custody I have been walking a straight line and wish the best for my daughters every time they are with me I do my best to make them happy while their mother spends all there child support money that I provide on her new husband he has just recently been released from prison for childkidnapping and is very abusive to her and my kids but there is a wall for me to help and a long judicial process according to the law I can't do anything to get my girls to live with me it's very unfair that she is allowed to do that to me and my girls I feel like I can't do anything as the father maybe I should just give up as the system wants me to.ps the us suxREPORT COMMENTS
