I am suffering from the impact of the child support laws. I pay 433.00 a month and when I see my daughter she is always in rags and old shoes that are too small. I had to file bankrupt and still can't really make ends meet. It seems my daughter is a free pay check not a baby

jumped to 560 a month overnight, even less time able to spend time with my son due to having to get a second job. There is no getting ahead anymore. Hope she has even more fun at the clubs every weekend.

Child support laws are biased and unfair to fathers. I also think that what the ordered support gets used on should be monitored. Many fathers pay support and don't even get to see the child/children and the mother collecting does not even use it for the child most of the time. Reform child support laws! Demand the support be monitored!

My husband And I are also the victim of unfair child support laws. And I agree it is usually the father that gets the raw deal as in our case but I say fair laws for all parties with no bias for the mother. how in the world did it become a rule that even if the children stay with each parent 50% of the time the one paying support can only get a 34% max credit. Its simple math What is this sword and shield crap. As people try to go on after divorce ... the parent who pays the support can never get a reduction or consideration for a growing or addition to their family and the court may even consider a new spouses income for the benefit of the exs case but the one who receives the support can continue to breed children and get a credit reduction to there considered income for each additional child. oh yeah and the poor sucker paying the support assumes the tax liability for that money and the recipient gets it tax free oh yeah and if the one paying support has to work overtime to keep from starving that's included in the figures for deciding how much support is paid. please lets help each other.

We lost our home and had our vehicle repossesed because we couldn't afford our bills due to half my husbands check being garnished for child support. Our childre now fear we will be homeless again.

Money should go to the childs interest, not just arbitrarily given to mothers to spend how they please.

When are we as Father's going to start protesting and making some noise. It's obvious that just complaining is simply not going to work. We need to all get together in our respective states and start to protest in front of the family courts!!! These laws need to be changed. Why does a mother get primary custody of a child right off the back but as if a father isn't as much qualified to be a parent as a mother. There are millions of woman out there fighting for equal rights ( for example in the work force which in my opinion they deserve), so where is the equality when it comes to being a father. Enough with the complaining and let's start taking action. Let's get our voices heard. LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!

My name is Luis delafuente and I am very very disappointed in how the child support laws are being opposed to us fathers in America. There should be a strong change made in securing laws on father equal rights!!

I am broke and destitute while my ex lives quite comfortably. I work 60 - 70 hours per week (salary based though) and make far more than her per hour but take home a fraction of what she does even though we have 50/50 custody and it could have been so much worse! It's the epitome of unfairness and it's feels like it's near impossible for father's to be a part of their kids lives and it is so difficult to not become a deadbeat dad and be sent to jail. I am well over $1,000 in the hole every month because I tried to hold onto the home that my kids grew up in since they were born. This is a 932 square foot home and far from a mansion. I wanted them to be able to stay in the same school district when my wife moved out. And I was told that if not for mediation she was "entitled" to an additional $500 for child support, $300 for healthcare, and over $1,000 for temporary maintenance which would have left me with enough money to own my car, pay for the insurance, gas, parking at work, and NOTHING! So if not for mediation I would be the hardest working homeless man in the country. Something has to be done! Lives are being destroyed. I have to count on a year end bonus to squeak by from year to year while I look like the uninvolved and not fun parent because I have no money.

I am being charged way too much child support for my 2 boys. I currently have a 6 month old daughter and the hardship factor applied to my child support hardly dropped the amount. I am currently struggling to pay my rent and meet my basic needs while my ex wife is pretty well off and can sleep at night. I am all for supporting my 2 children because fair is fair but not like this.
