I'm almost finished with my last injection to treat endometriosis. So far I have experienced severe depression with suicidal thoughts, blurry vision, loss of memory (familiar places that I visit often sometimes seem foreign to me. Even my own street I live on), terrible night sweats, lucid dreams / intense nightmares, insomnia, weight gain (I've gained over 20 lbs. in 6 months) and increased anxiety. This drug REALLY needs to be discussed with a patient before taking. If someone already suffers with depression and / or anxiety before taking this medication, Lupron makes it much worse and may even take them to a very dark place they may never come back from. Be sure you have NO OTHER options before taking this poison. I hope I'll recover from all these nasty side effects. My doctor is trying to force me to go onto this medicine, I do not trust it. I am 18, and have had two surgeries already, I want a partial hysterectomy so that I can go to school and fulfill my dreams. I don't care about being a mother someday, I care about MY health and MY safety. I don't want to lose my bones because I 'might' want a child someday. I move in to my dorm for college tomorrow... and I don't even know if I can walk up the stairs to get to my third floor room there. Its been a year since my last Lupron shot (I had 3 total) and I am still experiencing menopause symptoms, headaches and exhaustion at 35 years old. I can barely get though my work day. Previously I had been very active. This shot should not be on the market.REPORT COMMENTS

I have nothing but continuous health issues since my first injection in January and after having a total of 6. I have been told by at least five drs its all in my mind. There's no need to study Lupron further, it's common knowledge that it's too dangerous and unpredictable and should be taken off the market. I only took Lupron once and suffered a terrible irreversible injury: a massive hernia of my entire abdominal wall. Any doctor who prescribes Lupron is an idiot or a crook. The FDA continues to ignore the situation, suggesting it is a corrupt organization. It is NEVER safe for hormone levels to be wildly manipulated nor lowered to zero, even temporarily. This drug is used for IVF without FDA approval. It is used to poison perfectly healthy children who go through puberty early. It is used on women who only need minor fibroid surgery. It is used without FDA approval on transgender children to temporarily prevent puberty which will happen eventually anyway. And all of these uses will lead to permanent injuries for a significant portion of patients! Anyone can be injured or killed by this drug. Vision loss, bone loss, etc. Lupron must be taken off the market !!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I received Lupron injections once a month for one year for endometriosis. My life has been a mess ever since. I live in pure agony each and every day with severe muscle and joint pain as well as many other symptoms. I have to take heavy doses of pain medication just to function each day. And by function I mean take care of my home and children because there is no way I could work in this condition. I ask that this drug no longer be used until further testing is done. My life may never be the same, but it is still possible to prevent someone else from living in misery.REPORT COMMENTS

I actually went into anaphylaxis as a result of this drug. My heart stopped twice. It's been two years since being given Lupron (I was never given any warnings, just administered the injection upon being released from a hospital stay for an internal bleeding mass). I still suffer tachycardia, have massive amounts of pain throughout my body, have autoimmune issues, have been diagnosed with several diseases, spine pain, autonomal neuropathy & thyroid issues among other things that severely effect my life.
