Lupron took my life as I knew it. Please help others to know that this drug is unsafe. This drug is poison.

Since taking Lupron in 2003, I have been diagnosed with: osteoporosis, osteopenia, neuropathy, cervical stenois, Vitamin D deficient and if those aren't painful enough on the bones, I now see a rheumatologist because of a Scleroderma titer and a oncologist every six months because of a monoclonal protein in my blood suggestive that I may be developing Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer). I am 48 years old and have the bones of an 80 year old. I can't believe that with all the negativity directed against this drug that no one is interested or concerned in finding out WHY we are suffering so long after taking this drug. I believe it all has to do with greed. Greed by the pharmaceutical company that makes it, greed by the doctors that prescribe it and greed by the government who will not investigate it especially since the manufacturer had to pay a $875 million dollar fine for medicare fraud. That should be enough to warrant an investigation into our long term health issues.

I received six doses of Lupron injections and have the majority of the symptoms listed above. I have been on a heart monitor twice due to frequent episodes of my blood pressure "bottoming out" and my heart stopping. Lupus was suspected and ruled out. I have had blood clots in my legs and pain in my joints. I have trouble recalling simple information. The worst part is that I am barely over thirty. I did not have a single health problem until I took Lupron.

As someone who has had 2 sets of Lupron and one set of zolodex, I have most of the symptoms listed above. The last set of lupron was 10 years ago, and my life has been slowly slipping away from me since then, if a life is what you want to call it. It not only affects the patient, but also the family members and friends who have to sit by and watch the life slip out of their loved one, and can't do anything about it. Each day is a crap shoot, you never know what you will be dealt, and on a lucky day that you might feel well enough to do some activity, you pay for it well after that with pain and other symtoms. The first set I had was when it was in the guinea pig stage, and I don't think it ever cameout of that stage. Has anyone ever gone back to previous patients and looked to see what the long term affects were/are? How about to the children of those that took the shots to get pregnant? This is a very serious problem that needs to be looked into, and as I'm sure most patients feel like I do, we just don't have the energy or strength to put into what needs to be done to get this off the market before others are harmed. Thank you for your time.
