My doctor suggested I take 3 shots. After the 3 he decided I should take 6. After the 4th shot I swore I'd never take another. Agreeing to take Lupron has been the biggest regret of my life. I have constant joint pain. My hair falls out. I'm always tired yet can't fall asleep. My anxiety is terrible. I never had these issues before Lupton. I was on daily injections for 18 months 15 years ago, for IVF. I have wide spread pain in my joints, muscles and bones, I also experience extreme fatigue, are just a few of the symptoms I have on a daily bases. I just hope that future studies can be done so others do not have to go through what I am going through.REPORT COMMENTS

At 21 I took this drug for stage IV endometriosis in hopes of getting my life back from the debilitating pain that I was in. I was started on the 3 month injection September 2014. I now have fibromyalgia. I am only 22 and I am unable to return to my education, a job that I loved, and I have a challenging time completing simple tasks. 22 is too young to feel like your body is failing you, please don't take this drug.REPORT COMMENTS

Where are My Rights?why must I suffer, because there wasnt information of Long term effects when I was subjected to Lupron cause if they were I assure you I would have NEVER allowed it..So I wanna share something personal not for myself but for all the women that may read this and/or has a daughter. I sympathize because I myself am A woman, have a daughter and a niece and possibly a grand-daughter (one day) In my late teens early-20s I started having "Female" problems that when this journey of mine started and my trust in drs was corrupted. I had to literally beg n plead with a Dr just to do exploratory surgery cuz all methods they had me to do never worked and I knew my body was telling me something was wrong. So the said Dr agreed to do exploratory surgery. As I woke up from sedation not really to it at all and not really able to absorb what the Dr was telling me. All the words I heard was "I had stage 4 endometrial cancer." Which is also known as endometrosis. He lasered what he could out but he had to leave some bcuz of its location so he gave me a prescription for 2 injections called Lupron. And back then there were no known long term side effects or basically no known info on this pharmaceutical at all. So not knowing the harm of this Lupron I allowed that same said Dr to inject me with 2 rounds of Lupron. Yes I had side effects from it up front but they said it was common that they would subside. Within yr I had to undergo a partial hystertomy (Every female organ was removed except my right ovary) Endometrosis usually lives in the female organs. Once u don't have them it latches onto other organs, and fuses them together. But remember its Cancer. It can and does effect (Heart, Kidney, Colon, Lungs, Brain etc) No Dr told me this I thought one I had my hystertomy I was fine. Nope wrong .. My person hell had just began, it would literally hurt to walk or to brush my hair and I would tell my General physician and literally think I was to young or embellishing I assume how I felt. But I wasn't, a few yrs after that and complaining and unexplained health isses a Dr sent me for Dexa scan ( Bone density test) my late twenties-Early 30s was diagnosed with full stages of osterprosis . SMH since then I have complained and seen so many drs and had so many tests done. But let's fast forward this . 1 Endometrosis (endometrial Cancer) Can NOT be detected through NO type of test ONLY found in surgery. 2. Drs are NOT educated themselves on the medicine u have had or what they even prescribe at times. Its mostly because they have a personal gain for prescribing a said pharmaceutical. 3. Its a Shame women like myself Now suffer and most often are made to feel like our symptoms weren't possible. Well maybe, But if u have been injected with Lupron (U basically live ur life in a slow hell without Drs willing to help all because they don't know about the Harm it can/could do to women. I started with joint pain into my second month of taking Lupron Depot injections. I took Lupron for 6 months total and the joint pain has progressed. I am basically disabled in comparison to my old active life. I'm 36 and feel about 90. It has been three years since I took Lupron and the lasting side effects are worsening not improving. I finally found a doctor that believes the Lupron started my arthritis symtoms and also triggered fibromyalgia. I took this drug to see if a hysterectomy would help with hormone induced migraines and pelvic pain. Had I known my life would be this way I would have kept the migraines as debilitating a those can be. Please don't keep women in the dark on this. I feel I was lied to about this drug and that any side effects would go once it was out of my system. Thanks for everything FDA!REPORT COMMENTS
