END DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

Messages Sent So Far
Please stop the messing with our schedules. It's an antiquated practice that only aggravates people. As it is Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgina Islands, and America Samoa do not participate in this practice.

My technology company spends countless hours and dollars trying to deal with software bugs created by daylight savings time. And I've never seen a benefit to it. Ending daylight savings time will save US companies lots of money and will have no negative repercussions.

Changing the clocks is severely detrimental to a person's health, and we do it twice every year. It takes weeks to acclimate our bodies and sleep schedules to this new clock, only to change it back in autumn and the process starts all over again. For children it is even worse. Their sensitive bodies struggle to get used to the change and end up keeping parents awake for longer, affecting not only the child but the parents' bodies and work efficiency as well. On top of that, every year our immigrant employees miss an hour of work or show up an hour early, to literally everyone's inconvenience. This is an antiquated practice that came from wartime Germany (meaning Nazi Germany, yes), which never helped the US in any way. I grew up in a farm town, and never once have I met a farmer who benefitted from DST. It wasn't made for them. It's time to abolish the practice in the United States.

My body, my children's body's have to deal with this unnecessary change twice a year. It's a jolt we don't need. Please remove this stress on us. I love the natural way that the days get shorter and longer with the seasons. Leave it be.

PLEASE KEEP THE TIME FIXED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR - HOW ABOUT ADJUSTING THE CLOCK 1/2 HOUR MIDWAY (OR SOME AGREEABLE MEDIAN) AND JUST LEAVING IT THERE INSTEAD OF THE TWICE-A-YEAR ADJUSTMENTS.

Please, please stop Daylight Savings Time. You cannot change human beings’s body clocks, and God made the world to work His way. And, now you have extended it. Already, I can feel and see the time moving like the sun and moon. This is ridiculous and does not help but hurts us.
