DCPP (DYFS) refused to help my son while he was being abused by his mother. One assault was caught on video along with a photos of his injuries. Luckily he now lives with me and is safe but DYFS did NOTHING!. No I am fighting to get my 6yr old who is being neglected and so far they have done NOTHING! My granddaughter was in the system just last year at 6mos old .. beaten by a caregiver who was my daughters boyfriend at the time and was with her since she was just 2 weeks old ... my daughter had her taken for medical neglect because the stories were plausible and never dreamed of someone hurting the kids ... but there was no evidence of my daughter abusing any of her kids and don't even get me started about the hospital. Fast forward to Foster care and the Foster reaching our to me to get to see my granddaughter ... I go through the hoops of the system and yet they wouldn't allow me to have my granddaughter. They DFC or whatever it is now is out of control ... they lie and manipulate things ... seen it done ... innocent parents have their children taken but yet the children who CLEARLY NEED to be removed are left in the abusive households. Oh and don't thing the local politicians will help because they won't. They won't even contact me about starting up a foundation for child abuse and innocent parents going through this very thing. It's all about the "Almighty dollar" the states can earn and then cry about supporting those in the "system" ... sad to say. This crap needs to stop ... the system needs to start being punished for false accusation like the "common folk" if we lie in courts. It NEEDS TO STOP ... and now!REPORT COMMENTS

Case out of Mercer county, I reside in Gloucester county. I was present at the court date when dyfs was granted custody of my niece. The case worker told me I was ok to take my niece, but nj doesnt allow placement of someone whose home isn't licensed. So I went through the process and was denied. When the resource worker found me in a same sex relationship, she yelled at me. She talked to my daughter's teacher and came up with an entire story about How my home is not "warm and fuzzy". I immediately had a conference with the teacher, and she was absolutely disgusted with the waywords were put in her mouth and how they switched her words around. She asked for names and phone numbers to get her story right. Even my daughters teacher thinks mercer county is doing something very wrong. I want to help put a stop to their power. Im a mother of 3 beautiful children. My kids was taken cuz my x man felix mouliert from north camden called dyfas when i got locked up. I was aquited of the charges proven inocent n still dnt have my kids. My daughter thank god is with my cousin. My infant son was taken from me because his father got high & robbed a house & while he was sitting at the police station I was txting him saying I was going to punch him in the face & what not next thing I know the cops & an ambulance are at my house & they are treating me awful & yelling at me & take my son & make me get in an ambulance my sons father was high as hell off zanex he told the cops he had to go home cause I was gonna throw myself & the baby in the river (not true) anyway this all happened September 5th at 2am dyfs comes to the hospital they drug test me I pass it they tell me my mom is at the police station getting my son well waiting for the hospital to discharge me they would not give my mom my son to take home because she has a gun charge so my baby who will be 2 months on the 29th has been with a foster mom this whole time & I'm only allowed to see him 2 hours ever week that's it I am so heart broken so is my mother & my grandmother it's not fair they haven't even given my baby to anyone in my family yet &on my last visit he had really bad diaper rash he's raw & scratches on his face when he was in my care he didn't even have 1 hair out of place I'm suffering so much they need to give my son back to me or at least to someone in my family it's not right!!REPORT COMMENTS

dyfs took my kids from the mother then acuse me of drug use never investigate me nor screnn me on the day of removel when I tell them I have not seen my kids in over a year on reg basis they did not care they refused to come drug test me or ck my home to see if I can care for my kids I have proved time and time again to dyfs that I have bin unfounded for drug abuse or neglect over 8 time in the last 8 years due to aligations the mother has made aganst me now she has my little girls saying I am a drug user a 8 and 10 year old someone needs to help meREPORT COMMENTS

me and my wife signed up to be adoptive parents. We were thrown out because we asked questions and complained about our recourse worker and her racist statements she made to us in our own home. The trainer also made a lot of anti white statements in the classes. They threw us out two days after completing the last class and told us they fergot to throw us out two weeks before the classes ended. They called the police on us and tried to have us arrested after I called them racist Nazis and said they were all amateur psychiatrists and knew nothing of being social workers. They made up a load of lies against us and provided no proof. I was Incarcerated When my Daughter was taken from Her Mother. I was Released Two weeks after she was taken. Since then I have been doing Programs, Therapy, And Drug Screenings. Its been over 2yrs and they keep bouncing my Daughter everywhere but Home Where She belongs. Note that I had nothing to do with the reason She was taken and they don't have anything against me. I only see my Daughter 40hrs out of the year. She was born while I was Incarcerated. Her Mother Past away last year and its been rough on My daughter and I. DYFS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. They won't even let my Family have Her. The people She is with doesn't want Her anymore. No Services has been provided to Help me with this case Like They say they offer.REPORT COMMENTS

After 18 months dealing with Cape May County DYFS I finally got custody of my 2 year old daughter. I was put on supervision while her mother continued to go out partying and leaving our daughter in the car in Atlantic City by herself. She ODed 3 times in front of her and my 12 year old stepdaughter and was allowed to have her sister be a supervisor so she could still live with the kids. How in the world does this happen. The whole case started cause my ex had my stepdaughter lie to DYFS to cover her own but and I ended up doing visits with my daughter at their office for over a year. Back in June of 2012 DYFS finally determined my daughter to be in innominate danger being with mom and did an emergency removal. That's when temporary custody was given to me. Since then the case was transferred to Atlantic County. Now I do have soul custody of my daughter but DYFS here is treating me like the bad guy again. Wanting Constant screens but yet only checking my ex for alcohol when its obvious she had a drug problem too. My job is on the line with having to take all this time off for screens that I have never failed for almost 3 years this has been going on. Not to mention all the court dates. My ex has been non compliant this whole time but no drastic actions have been taken. The supervised visits always seem to go wrong and it takes me a week to have a normal child again only to have it happen over and over again. The department doesn't seem to care. Am I the only one looking out for the best interest of my child. Not even the state appointed Law Guardian is doing her job. How can you know the best interest of a child without talking to the parent and the child. The division is no better in this matter. I have jumped through all hoops and also did things to better myself for my daughters sake. Yet I'm the monster again for enrolling my daughter in a great preschool and having her interact with kids her age and providing 100% of her support on my own. The division promised all this help then backed out. They wouldn't even follow their own guidelines for child support. I had to file on my own which took over a year to get through cause of the DYFS case. Next step is law suite. Not just one county but 2 counties are now in my sites for allowing all these bad thing to continue to happen to my daughter and taking no action except attacking me. Several attorneys are on my side and 3 judges. Nothing worse than a fresh collage grad with the authority to take your kid cause of a power trip. This state will dig deep in their pocket for this one.REPORT COMMENTS

DYFS is supposed to be there to HELP you not to destroy you. They are supposed to offer services that can assist you with taking care of your children and instead they question every aspect of your entire life just looking for a reason to take your children from you. They have to much power and not enough monitoring of how they use it. There is something seriously wrong when you see two fit parents who have done nothing illegal or harmful to their children getting ripped away from them and being placed in homes with strangers which who, for the most part, are the ones who shouldn't have any children! They use the foster system as a way to get money. They don't use the money they are given completely on the child its supposed to be used for. They use it for their own personal wants and desires. The system is completely unfair and I agree 100% it is NOT okay for children to be taken from their parents without proof of there being a problem. Isn't it "innocent until proven guilty?" And it's obviously known that DYFS likes to give most of their attention to "the poor," people who can not afford to hire a lawyer to help keep their case out of court and their children in their arms. It is a very unfair, unjust, overlooked system and it needs to be put away with. I just gave birth to my daughter a week ago and when I got pregnant I was on subutex which my doctors told me I could NOT stop taking otherwise the withdrawals would kill my child. I was honest and open about my entire history with my doctors and they monitored my medications so I am under the impression this entire pregnancy that since I had to stay on this medication that was legally prescribed to me by a doctor that there would be no issues with DYFS. Unfortunately my daughter started withdrawing pretty bad about three days after I had given birth to her. She had to be started on morphine and the social workers from the hospital called to tell me that they were putting my child on administrative hold until DYFS cleared me! They told me the reason they had to involve them was because of the morphine, which fine I understand that. But they lied, the reason they had given to DYFS was that when they called me to tell me my child was put on hold from me I sounded high and "off." Before they called, I had just gotten off the phone with my daughter's doctor who had informed me of the start of morphine and that we would not be able to bring her home that day. Naturally I was upset, crying uncontrollably practically having a nervous breakdown and then THEY call me not even 10 minutes later. They had already placed my daughter on administrative hold before they talked to me so HOW could the reason for involving DYFS be because I sounded "high" when they called? They hadn't even spoken to me yet! And wouldn't any parent who loves and cares about their child be upset and having a meltdown when they heard such bad news like that? I didn't know crying was considered a danger to yREPORT COMMENTS

I think it's ducked up how people can come in your life and just **** it up at your expense. It's ****ed up that sex offenders can have children without DHS blinking at them wrong.
