my best friend was treated very badly by dyfs, they question my friend in the hospital when she was heavily sadaited and she was delusional. They made her sign papers to give up her children when she went in the hospital for help. Then just recently went to her house late at night knowing that no one is up that late and told her she had and hour to find a care giver friends and some family was there to help and was told because they can't back ground check the family members that live in the next State over wasn't aloud to take the children. Now i was once in foster care, i was always told amediate family has first dibs on the children. Someone please help! -

They took my best friends kids away from her she is a loving mother!!! She didnt deserve this at all!!! Every option we came up for to place the kids with a friend or family they told us we couldnt !!!! So against the law on top of made her sign her kids rights over when she was in the hospital heavily sedated on meds and delusional having seizures its not right something.needs to be done !!! Someone HELP us PLEASE!!! We are trying desparetly to get my niece out to the system. It is in appeal right now, my sisters rights have been terminated. we have been fighting to get her into our home almost 2 years now. A home that she was at every weekend, major holidays & birthday. They are wanting to adopt her to the foster family she is in now who just came to our country in 1997. They didnt rule me out but I got a placement letter stating since I didnt sit with a case worker in 2011 & since my niece also grew a bond with her now foster parents they will not be placing her in our care. Are you serious? This is why you are taking my family, my niece and giving her a whole new family?? They kept her away from us for 6 months until they did a bonding assessment with my husband, I also the foster parents, of course she was gonna play shy but she warmed up to us. Then the judge ordered visitaions with us. They also wanna use the fact my husband is 100% diabled how are we going to afford her?? He & I both have a great amount of income that comes in a month, Sorry not all people are rich, people do get by and if someone has to find a better job or get another one to support a family that?s what you do. What in the world is going on here? We need help! What happened to family being with family?? We have cried out to the Governor and I get letters from his people saying we sent a copy of your complaint to the advocacy that sent it to the division!! Yea the division that is fighting against us!!! I write to the Governor for his help not to send a copy of my letter to the enemy hows that helping? Its not!! Im losing my niece and its breaking my heart!!! We had such a close bond and they took that away. Shes 3 years old, I know that she will readjust I know she will if she comes home to us plus i told the Division that we will go to any programs if needed. Please dont give my niece to a whole new family when her family here is fighting so hard for her!!!! They just turn a deaf ear. Please help!! We cry all the time, hard to breath, i get anxiety when I think of never seeing her again. HELP!!! Since our Governor "The Family Man" is doing all that he can to help, NOT!!!! We love her very much, its coming up to a year since we last saw her. We cant lose her!!! We are her family!!!!! I can see if there wasnt family fighting for her, then adopt her out, but we are fighting!!!!! We are continuing to fight this fight, her Grandmother is distraught over it, shes always upset, I hate to see my mom like this I really do. I have reached out to the newpapers, senator, councilman, etc.... We are not giving up, but need the publics help. I even started a fund me so we can get an attorney to help us fight this fight, us not being the parents the courts dont listen to us. Since 2012 Dyfs is still a huge mess and full of ignorance. This is coming from a 15 year old who has received unjust from Dyfs. They keep investigating my family and me even though I told them nothing is going on anymore. They shushed me and gave me a whole useless lecture about not being an adult. Last week DYFS called my son and told him to go to the court house and get a emergency removal from his daughters mother house. When he went to the court they told him DYFS had to remove the child, he went back to DYFS and told them what the court said ( they said they don't do things that way, they did not do nothing about it, they told my son , it's a court matter and they are out of it. they know, the mother is on drugs, the mother will not take drug test. well my son decided not to bring her up there any more, know he is told he could be arrested for not sending his daughter back to a druggie. He has a photo of drugs in the mother home that he has shown this photo to DYFS . this been going on for almost 3 year. the last time we been in court, the mother was given visitation supervised visits, the judge said she had to go to a drug program, well she is not being supervised and she did not go to a drug program... it's almost a year since that court date and nothing as been done... dyfs need to remove my grand daughter now before some thing happens. my son has a court date December 10th, but that's still a month away, The mother drug habit is worse then every,and she is driving my grand daughter around in a car, why do we have to wait until something bad happens, because that is what it seems to be. my grand daughter was born with drug in her system, and now my son has to worry every day she is up there. DYFS DO YOUR JOB, HELP MY SON WITH THIS ISSUE, GO UP TO THE COURT TODAY AND TELL THEM WHY YOU WANT TO REMOVE MY GRAND DAUGHTER FROM HER MOTHERS HOUSE . YOU KNOW SHE IS UN SAFE, THIS IS WHAT YOUR JOB IS.. YOU ADVISE MY SON NOT TO BRING HER UP THERE, WHY DOES HE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING ARRESTED OR WORRY ABOUT LOSING HIS CHILD, BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT TAKE THE ACTION THAT IS NEEDED.REPORT COMMENTS

it is a true shame how a program that was created to help maintain the security and care for abused children has for years turned their eyes away and allows the abuse to continue but in the hands of strangers. I feel a productive change would be to help address the issues that escalate the abuse be it by counseling, employment opportunities, medical care, drug counseling, etc. all the issues that hurt families and produce negative results... this nonsense has to end. too many children are ending up hurt, malnourished and killed because of this twisted system...this has to end!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

This has been a nightmare, 8 months I haven't seen my children and dyfs keep saying they don't want to see me. I just found out October 6th that my ex was getting high again and my ex's current gf knew and didn't report. I just got paperwork by my lawyer which He told me to read. Omg my jaw dropped. Everything I read backs up everything about my ex's history criminal doméstic and drug abuse etc...after they removed my children from my x's home after putting them in danger. Dyfs has the nerve to set up a visit for my ex to take my kids to rhe jail where my ex is incarcerated, like really after he put them in danger. His gf also put my kids in danger. Everything he did to me he now did to his gf. Now the new info that I have shows how both my ex and his gf's numerous lies. I had expressed that more than once that my ex is a compulsive liar. Then my x's probation officer knew he was positive for cocaine and didn't report it at all. My ex is still an alcoholic and started abusing crack cocaine again since april 2014 and the worst part he used my childrens benefits for his drug habit. All this back and forth to court has really taken a toll on my husband and myself. My ex made a very horrible accusation towards my husband. Dyfs has made our life muserable and NONSTOP HARRASSMENT from dyfs. They need to stop ruini g innocent People's lives.REPORT COMMENTS

My child has been in foster care for 7 months and its been hell for my child and I. Iam mentally ill and they are demanding so much of someone with a severe anxiety disorder. I never abused my child. My child loves me. They are out of their mind telling me I dont need to get a studio, that I can get a room but everyone in the household needs a background check(in other words roomates). No one will do that for a complete stranger. Then when it comes to a studio my credit is horrible so cant do that either. I managed to get a job in march and god knows I tried so hard to find a room under those conditions. I also look for a studio but its impossible to get without good credit. Needless to say I could of had my daughter back in march but because of these outrageous requirements she lingers in foster care. I cannot do the impossible no one can. Please help this poor single mother who only waits for the day to tell her child she can come home. No more tears or pain. I forgot to add I have proof that ahe was abused in foster care. And nothing has been done ti make justice. I want justice and compensation for my childs trauma psychologically,emotional pain, wnd physical abuse. Justice must be made,it mustREPORT COMMENTS

My son and his wife separated, she made allegations against him from his past that he smokes pot, but now he does not, all his drug testing he passed and because he said he smoked pot in the past they wanted him to go to drug counseling he did not go..now they want to take his children from him. My soon to be ex wife thought it be a great idea to leave the kids with her grandma after I have told her not to as she cant care for the kids. I stay in NC due to the ex took out a DV that was dropped but DYFS had been called and seen the kids not being watched and took the kids putting them in temp foster care. I wasn't even around when this happened but yet they wont give me my kids and are trying to take them from me as well. How is that justice? I can support them no problem, care for them no problem and I work from home. I want my kids but it's screw you. My ex was the one that got them taken away not me but they want to take them from me as well.. DYFS needs to stop and take care of the kids that truly need it.REPORT COMMENTS
