I aware a single H1B guy earning atleast 80k to 100k Easily per year. They all savings a lot better than American citizens. I am an Indian but now USA citizen and I save a lot. Guy working with me earning 120k per month for development and I am earning 90k. so, if that guy who earning 120k send him back to India means all savings will go to his hometown banks. he can easily put in fixed deposit those money and life like heaven for him. If that guy got GC and working here. he will sure buy home half million dollar and his saving entire savings will be going to make a down payment for that home. he also will buy maybe businesses or invest somewhere in future what I am doing now. so tax money plus investment will be only in USA for me now. hardly I can send money $500 to $1000 for my family after each 2months that's nothing. when I don't have GC I was on H1 , I sent most of my money to India because want to save for my future. now I am citizen my all money only in USA. so, think.. this could be good for USA economy or not. no one steal anyone jobs, I seen many nuts and some people who don't deserve job those are Americans any race but earning money serving nothing.REPORT COMMENTS

EAD should be given to those with Approved I140. It is really painful to stick to an employer if the only reason to stay is I140. Even an employer knows that an employee with approved I140 can not argue for many things because the actual key is in their hand. This is really ruining the culture here. A lot citizens are hating the jobs because those who are on I140 are struggling at the jobs to maintain their status and they(citizens) need to match their work or loose the job. I am EB-3 category and DOR want's to hire us but they can't due to we are not Green Card holders. so, issue us EAD + Green Card on timely manner. I have 8+ years working experience (as Software Developer) in US alone. I am working in US since 2007 (I-140 Approved in 2012 under Eb3 category). Due to backlog for India, I could not file adjustment of status (I-485). How can someone say EAD is misused to create fake resumes with 8 to 10 years experience? Check with Social Security Administration/IRS to verify whether the candidates is genuine or not? Social Security Administration maintains yearly earning records. I don't simply need EAD itself. I need my Green Card and please send it to my home country if I am not in US (Maintaining H1B status for 10 to 15 years is not a joke!)REPORT COMMENTS

Start the point system: Work experience in US = 2*(Number of Years) [Max 12 points] Bachelors in US = 3 Masters in US = 5 PH.D. In US = 8 Time since I-140 approved = 1*(Number of Years) [Max 6 points] This will at least clear off the pending backlogs for those who have higher education and years of experience in US. As the above backlog will clear, remaking folks will keep adding points via their work experience or I-140 clearance. I think it's a great idea to give EAD for I-140 approved pettions with criteria 6 years on H1-B + higher education in USA (as they spend around 30000 for education, it's good being for them to be considered). Looks like the petition they are referring is about H4-EAD, agrees that is crape. While having said that, H1B brings highly skilled immigrants from all over the world who work on the creative ideas that build the America in the 21st century. Many families are affected by the currently portability issues with H1B even with an approved H1B. The abuse happens only to the H1B employee who is taken advantage of by People who misuse the H1B receipients inability to transfer to another company or work independantly. Also H1B abuse mostly happens with the Huge outsourcing corporations like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL , Accenture, which misuse the provisions in the H1B to take advantage of the recepients. Please give more priority to Employees who did there Higher studies here in the US and regulate the big outsourcing companies who deplete the local jobs. Those who have been long enough to get their I140 approved should be able to get the EAD. Stop illegal immigration and support Legal immigration. Set up example by helping reduce the huge wait for legal immigration. Supporting illegal immigration by giving amnesty to the illegals and enabling them to skip the line before the hardworking legal immigrants sets a bad precedence in a country like America. EAD for I140 is very important as ROW country folks get their GCs in few months while people from few countries have to wait for 20/30 years to get an EAD , which unfair. What I want you to consider - why handful of countries are deprived so badly when rest of the world is enjoying the benefit of US immigration process? Without an EAD, a large population of dissatisfied work force (mostly being ill treated at the work place) is created as they are forced to stick to their current job for very long period due to the lack of I-140 portability.
