There are people who has not visited their parents for years (more than 5 years) which is a big pain. Many are paying taxes from the past 6 years . Please consider and grant EAD for the i 140 approved resources. Thank you

Please grant EAD to all I-140 approved immigrants. US companies exploit the fact that these highly skilled immigrants cannot switch jobs and underpay them. By giving these folks EAD, they will have job mobility and that will drive wages up. This will drive wages up for everyone in the US. More Tax revenue in the US as well.

Please grant EAD to all I-140 approved. This will help people change their life for the better. This will give them the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge. It will help themselves and their family to take out the burden they've been having for years. Give the people the chance of the lifetime to make their life easier. They are working people anyway they just need the opportunity to better themselves and provide more to their family.

Please DONT grant EAD to all I140 approved. This will be abbused especially by MS graduates from consultancy. I bet my annual salary if they came into IT without fake experience resume. I have seen people with MBA,Pharmacy,Biotechnology come into IT with fake experience. This is immigration fraud. USCIS please please help. Dont spoil the system. 90% of MS graduates have commited fraud. They will continue to commit fraud if you provide EAD. Please filter the unqualified and provide EAD to the genuine qualified people. Thank you.

We want EAD for I140. I do not think it as gift but this is our right as a legal immigrants. If you consider the crimes of illegal immigrant and compare the crime of legal immigrant come here for work. You will find that legal immigrant come here to work/study contribute to American life and economy as well. We are involve in many innovations that are created in America and why we and our families should suffer. I agree some of the employer treats us like slaves... Please end this pain and suffering of our families..

I disapprove of this petition, most of the people (mostly country of origin being China and India) have been waiting for greencards (employer sponsored ones) for a decade now. If the process to get greencard is painfully long and can't be improved upon, at least grant EAD for approved I-140 and their family members. The current system makes it difficult for non-immigrants to change jobs or offer more to this economy and country under this scenario. Remember this country's founding fathers were all immigrants who contributed and worked hard to make it a world leader, its time we give all types of immigrants their dues.

I am re-submitting my comments because my previous comments were truncated. I would like to highlight some facts first. Vast majority of H1-B workers are highly skilled. Based on my personal experience and 100's of professionals I met in the last 12 years and organizations I worked for, it is not easy for an unskilled person to sustain in IT. Majority of the unskilled workers will be terminated immediately either by the client or by the employer due to performance. Faking resume will not last longer, not even for a month. The candidate's skills will immediately become visible in the very first assignment. I have personally seen a few less qualified candidates getting fired within 3 weeks. Companies are much more aggressive on this than we think, after all they are the ones who pay and they won't keep some unskilled person on job. The next thing is about the myth, H1-B workers are taking over citizens' jobs. This is false. This is incorrect. A quick search in Dice.com yields 74,000 IT jobs in New York, 8000 jobs in and around Jersey City, NJ 3200+ jobs in Chicago, 7000+ jobs in San Jose, CA, 3000+ positions in Atlanta, just to name a few. No one is stopping American workers from applying for these jobs. We simply don't have sufficient manpower to satisfy the demand. Anyone who is concerned about immigrants taking over jobs should do the analysis first. Thousands of jobs are flooded across the country for skilled professionals. I am working on an assignment for an automotive manufacturer. Last year it took 4 months of desperate search for us to get a Senior Developer for our project. There were some isolated incidents where some companies gave preference to foreign workers, but that doesn't represent everyone. Whether we say it or not, any organization / industry in US always prefers to have their nationals take up the opportunities. Moving to foreign workers is the last resort for many industries. The biggest reason for many organizations to go for a consulting firm is when they are unable to find IT resources locally and they want to avoid overseas resource management / visa related complexities. This is the primary reason that created a spider-web of consulting-firms. This is a very hard and complex matter to explain with words. By providing Employment Authorization to skilled workers, we can take a major step towards reducing the number of small consulting firms. Many of the skilled workers will move away from these small consulting companies and organizations will no longer depend upon consulting firms for their resourcing needs. Clients will be able to hire foreign workers without going through multiple layers of consulting firms. We, foreign workers are not stealing anyone's job. We are just filling up some much needed workforce. I kindly request you all to facilitate Employment Authorization for I-140 approved professionals. This will reduce multi-tier consulting service complexities to a far greater extent.

Dear President / political party please allow EAD or job portability to the immigrants having 140 approved 1. USA has always welcomed the open culture, diversified culture. granting the EAD will create job portability for each individual and will also help to grow individual. when we grow as a whole the society grows and at the end our country USA 2. The economy will be too benefited. Once the individuals are assured of some stability by having granted the EAD / JOB Portability, the will start investing more; in terms of buying new houses, buying new cars etc. 3. Job market will be more competitive. with current scenarios individuals / employees are stuck to the same company for years and scared of changing the company thinking that I140 will revoked or next company has to start the fresh green card processing. once the EAD is granted, the market will be open to all. It will be good for both Employers and employees. Employees will get benefited by having satisfactory job with good pay and employers can get more quality resources. My suggestion towards a feasible solution would be 1. Grant EAD to all approved i140 or to all I140 with some minimum number of stay in USA (Example 5 years) 2. If Granting EAD is not possible then at least Grant a JOB Portability to any company without Re-doing the whole GC process again PERM and 140. 3. Last and not the least do at least some thing to create a job portability without impacting the current GC process YOU REWARD US WE WILL GIVE A BETTER AMERICA IN RETURN

Majority of people who have i-140 approved petition are still not buying homes and controlling their spending to a greater extent the reason being is they are not sure what would happen to GC/H1 Status. If EAD is granted to i-140 approved candidates then certainly it will create a very positive impact on economy hence I would request to grant EAD to all i-140 approved petitions.
