Please pass this rule. None of approved I140s are earning huge money. This is the fact. 1. Huge percentage is going to the vendors & employers. Infact, they end up getting same salary as others. 2. No job security. Need to keep looking for new apartments, schools when the job changes. Transportation charges not even covered. 3. No health insurance. 4. Huge pressure while applying for Visa stamping. By passing this rule, we can be one of you guys.

Please APPROVE. I-140 should get EAD to save them from exploitation of employers. Fake resume doesn't come here in picture. Though if fake resume is concern company's here should strengthen their background check process.

PLEASE PASS THE RULE! In my view a person who has been waiting for 8-10 years in queue to their GC will definitely prove to be an asset to the society in many ways if granted a EAD as it will curb the exploitation of the employers, will make the US permanent home boosting local real estate market, local spending etc. Contrary to what the petitioner mentioned above in the narrative, there is no citizen, resident or STEM H1 holder communities that are against this rule. PLEASE PASS THE RULE!!

Dear Friends......I-140 EAD/Pre-registration of I-485 has nothing to do with the Petitioners comments (who started this topic). I do believe that each I-140 beneficiary must be in US for at least 5+ years. Some are infact waiting for more than 10+ years. Employees not able to leave employers and reject obvious natural progression due to their pending Green Card process. Due to much of nuances in the process, the employers reap huge profits as employee can't leave them even if they want. Please understand that USCIS and DOS checked the I-140 applicants lots of time as all Nonimmigrant petition duly approved after taking care of strict measures. Hence, it is my utmost request to not delay it. We owe President Barack Obama's a lot. He is the only person who thought and took necessary steps about this 'legal' community. You can check the history of US, legal immigrants who are here on non-immigrant visa never done any demonstration for their wishes. On the contrary, we are paying more than 30% of our salary each month as taxes. Paying rent, utilities and misc. items take away remaining 40%. The left one is paid for paying the mortgages of cars or house or other bills. It is worth to note that we all earn here and spend here like every other legal Americans. We did Adept and live by following all US practices, customs, cultures while maintaining our community and ties with our home country. We owe US a lot that it gave us a chance to have a better life and we always do whatever best is possible everyday. We are the people who go by Rule books and not able to visit our Parents back to our home countries due to Visa issue at Consulates. This EAD/AP will allow us to visit our parents by spending $3000-$5000 per visits. The expenses are a rough estimate for an average non-immigrant. It may differ per situations and even higher too. We urge White House, USCIS and DOS to do the needful to strengthen this legal community so that we can contribute more. Thanks Mr. President for your kind gesture.

Candidate who reached I 140 stage already their education and experience has been verified and waiting for 8 to 10 years and the subject of the petition don't make any sense. Please honor EAD and advance parole for all I- 140 candidate who followed legal path to become immigrant of this great nation, so that those candidate will invest in USA and grow US economy instead of taking all the hard earned money out of US.

This petition/story does not make sense. After landing in an IT job, one has to prove technical capabilities on everyday basis otherwise will not survive in the job, moreover, EAD for dependent spouses has already been approved and being issued hence what is the point in stopping EAD for primary workers with educational / experience credentials got the I-140 approved.

When dependents are allowed to give EAD, why not primary workers? Yes, there is a chance to cheat with EAD's given to J2, L2 or even OPT candidates. But if a person has I-140, that means he is legitimately working. I-140 approvals should get EAD.

Please approve EAD for I140 approved petitioners. They were working in US for many years and enhancing the US economy. DHS and USCIS were validating the petitioners whole employment records. This clearly states employee is legitimate for EAD and serve the employer for longer run.

This is modern day slavery. We are slaves here waiting to taste freedom. We are in a situation where we neither can go back nor can stay here as free people. People in government should understand they are losing great talent.

Doesn't matter either you give EAD or not give. just draining american companies money like drainage water.. because of long waiting with out EAD. If you give EAD people will take full-time and settle in one place will help companies achieve greater goals with smaller budget with well experienced professionals. while on h1b companies have to pay more money for people to work because of 10 years waiting on h1b , it is not helping either , company or candidate..it is just draining resources.. and more over small scale companies and desi infosys , cognizant , wipro ... companies creating more fraud with b1 n l1 visas... there are requirement .. there are valid people with solid tech back ground gems in the country.. in my case i am unable learn more technologies my career not going forward its going backward with long waiting ... i can't explain some things its hard.. if you want proper work done at jobs, grant EAD. if you just want to prolong and wait for no reason... drain companies resources.. just don't grant.. good ..for no one.

This petition doesn't make any sense. A person who has I140 approved, has already proved his/her skills and worked hard to get to that stage. Please grant EADs to i140 approved petitioners. They are highly skilled people and giving them work authorization will help US economy.
