In a highly capitalistic environment where jobs are not secured and they can fire whenever they want , how can a 2 year survive in such a capitalistic environment. if the person could survive in such a capitalistic environment one should appreciate his talent and the ability to survive in a highly demanding environment. Cry babies instead of crying on these , start crying on the capitalists who want easy money by hiring highly skilled workers for low wages and getting a year of work done in 3 months. Please make a petition to stop the capitalists from exporting jobs and looking for easy talent , make them give value to education. Doing that will stop many things. please address the root cause not the superficial cause and thereby harming some innocent workers who were bought here and made to work like slaves with unrealistic deadlines and threaten them to lay off or remove them from work if they cannot meet the unrealistic deadlines or if they open their mouth.

Please DO NOT judge based on few occasions related fake resumes in the market.I saw many native americans and other nations people apply with fake resumes. So Don't mix this issue with fake resumes and job market. Now days companies doing lot of interviews(F2F) and also multiple levels of background check before hiring.I graduated from TOP schools and working in United states more then 8 years. Some of friends migrated to different countries in the world already got citizenships in that countries. If americans or other nations have talented obviously get hired. Please support I140 EAD to qualified people as soon as possible.I know many people have this status issues and not able to join dream jobs and not able buy house.I am challenging whoever posted this comment above about fake resumes and job market situation. If really qualified and confident why the heck you worried about I140 rule.If you don't wanted to face the competition go to AFRICA or Pakistan.America developed based on immigration talent. Please don't act like DT.If you have talent nobody will take away your job.

Kindly approve EAD for approved I-140 candidates as these high skilled immigrants are stuck in decades of backlog to get their right to equal career opportunities. There is no such thing called fake resume as all I-140 petitions has to go through rigorous employment verification and labor market tests before even getting approved. Hence the claim of fake experience is completely ruled out. Once again request you to immediately approve EADs for all I-140 approved candidates and help in fostering a healthy job market.

Please grant EAD for I140. It is really hard for employees as even after proving credibility to be useful for the USA, they are stuck with an employer who treat them like slaves. Not asking for green card or expedite the process but just requesting to provide EAD so the employees can move to better employers.

I 140 EAD will give flexibility for both the employee and employer . Employee can have options in moving to new positions for a better prospects. Employer even can hire new employees who have a specific skill set required for their company . EAD option can also give flexiable for some employees who are willing to do their own business . Employees with approved I 140 is defenitly with a proven expirenced and skillfull . So there is a very minimum chance of fake resumes .

You have three issues 1. EADs are misused this way by spouses/housewives that probably dont even have a STEM degree (Already spouses has of H1's has EAD from other rule) EAD is a provision for spouse to work in any line of business not just IT. I see many indian spouses/housewives working in Walmart/Kroger/Target and other non IT jobs compared to 5 years ago. This provision makes few other to live a financial independent life. 2. Faking resume and community employer Getting a job is only 1% of effort. Performing duty on the job is 99% of effort. Contractor IT employees are usually terminated without notice for non performance of job duties. And you know these kind of few people exist in every line of business. You are trying to block a rule just because few wrong people get jobs, think about all the right people getting jobs and making difference for the whole family. There is no solution to this except employer doing a strict background verification and continious evaluation of employee performence on the job. And this is already done by most of IT employers. 99.9% of the H1B approved applicants and working in US have already gone through the multiple levels of scrutiny for multiple times. eg USCIS,DHS,Immigration authorities, visa authorities,IRS, ACA(Affordable Care Act), Employers and even DMV offices (for licences). I don't understand who else you want to scrutiny them. America is great because of progressive thinking and not for negative thinking.

We all are a part of this BIG American Dream wherein we work hard to make our life better , pay taxes and make the Nation much more greater. However, waiting for 10 -15 years in the queue for EB2 and even more for EB3 while chained with the same employer with the same package all this time is contrary to this belief. If an individual has an Approved I-140, please allow him / her an EAD so that he/she can lead a better life as per one's potential. This is the America we dream about - equal employment oppurtunity!

This is completely incorrect. Every JOB requirement has a need and it requires particular educational qualifications and the skills set which the individual has gained through the experiences. No company hires a person talking over phone for an hour. There are several rounds 1. Discussion with Human Resource manager, 2. Technical Interviews and 3. Face to Face interviews (skype) and present some case studies and perform some demos. Fake resume will be kicked out easily in this process. I-140's are approved for skilled individuals. These individuals have bought houses, made investment in USA, paying taxes and are raising kids here. They definitely need a better life. On the issues raised for dependents would get better jobs? Without meeting the JOB requirements. No one will get the job. Hooking up with Vendor company? You hook up with any person or any vendor company. No company will hire, if you don't meeting their job requirements/specifications. Every company does the proper background check and will definitely eliminate the fake individuals/resumes.

Faking Resume is a known problem and there are background verifications in place for every job we apply in US. Granting EAD to i140 is a process expedition which otherwise takes 10-15 years and during this time the employers can exploit you at their will. Approval of i140 itself goes through a complex paperwork to support the candidates eligibility. Please approve EAD for all i140 which streamlines the most complex and time consuming immigration process ever.

Faking resume is a common problem across every section and not particular to I-140. It may have to be solved by imposing background checks and should not make the genuine people to suffer with valid I-140 and they should be given EAD, I personally have been waiting for almost 5 years for my EAD and I am in this country for 10 years.

Grant EAD for I-140! This petition does not make any sense. you have no idea, to get the I-140 approved it goes through the verification process. To make employer file 140, you need to prove yourself that you are capable of doing your job excellently. After I -140 gets approved you get stuck with employer for long period, 5-7 years for GC. I have lots of opportunities but I can not, only because I have no freedom to move on.

The fix for this is to proper background check, I am with you on the fact that no decorated resumes should be entertained, but what you are proposing is totally biased and unrequired for. People with long queues for GC have to wait anywhere from 8-15 years to adjust status. And we are talking about people who pay taxes, buy homes and contribute to economy. They are here legally and there is no reason why they should wait for that long on premise that there could be potentially bad candidates.

These kind of false requests are being created by small consultancy agencies who rely heavily on H1B workers. They get scared of loosing their big margins on hourly wages if no H1B workers work for them. Most of the H1B workers who got EAD will either work for the Big Fortune 500 companies (who most of them don't sponsor GC) or create startups thereby improving the US economy. So, giving EAD to I-140 beneficiaries will solve lot of problems and help people achieve great things in their life.

Give EAD to I140 approved and completed 6 years on H1B. More and more companies now use skype or similar tools and use video conferencing for interviews. Even when a candidate fakes and uses another person for phone interview, they get rejected in the second round when they appear for a face to face to interview. Also, even if few 100 people who fall through the crack, should not hold close to 100,000 people at gun point.

Please grant EAD for approved I140. It is not correct to ask to not to give EAD for I140 approved because of few fake people. The managers in IT companies are clever and can take care of fake resumes. Don't punish thousands of people because of few fake people. (No one will burn entire house if they have mice at home. This petition has been submitted without any thoughts behind. Why don't we do a background check or let Managers decide if employee is capable enough or not? How can one survive with fake experience in a technical job? Are we doubting our own decisions of hiring a person who is so smart to fool hiring Managers? Someone comes here, work all day long with positive attitude, pay taxes on time, stay away from any crime or illegal activities, even buy home and add more to the economy. In return, he/she can't even ask for freedom to change job and grow in career? There is a flaw in the system that one Visa category can get EAD without any hassle but other Visa category can't. EAD should be given to the approved I-140 applicant.

Please grant EAD for I 140 approved candidates. But please make sure to back ground check of all those candidates before Granting EAD. Most of the candidates who completed MS in USA are faking their resumes to get Job. Not all of them, But many of them faking resumes.,Since the IT job market always looks for Experienced candidates than interns. MS candidates get the pulse of the Job Market and they will fake the resume according to the requirement and will join the job and cannot perform the job duties and hence Employers not agreeing to grant EAD for all I 140 approved candidates. Please please do the background check and dont just blindly avoid MS degree candidates. Major fake resumes are from MS candidates(not all).

This petition is definitely supported by employer based group. There must be lot of money scandals in placing this petition. Employer want to hold the employee for years as slaves. So they stop 140 EAD's. If you think in experienced people getting jobs , no one will hold them longer. There is a better term fire for those not eligible. Thats a wage reason to hold 140 EAD's. I am working for same position for last 10 years just because can not change the job. Employer know my situation as i can not change the company. And i see college hires being my managers in few years. In this country people just use the situation. If we lose job, we dont claim un-employment benefits even i am paying taxes for last 10 years. Need justice please. We are asking freedom from employers . Give a chance to work for organization we like and to improve US economy by paying prompt tax.

Employers are treating the employees as Slave, the only reason is that we're dependent on the GC.. Managers / supervisors are well aware that we cannot search for another jobs for equivalent roles and responsibilities. If we do so, then we need to re-start our GC process again from beginning which is time consuming and cost involved in it. We're looking for EAD, this will really help us and our families.. We're paying taxes, no criminal records, well educated, and we can improve the US economy by buying homes, paying taxes etc..
