As a physician charged and convicted by illegal means by the government when I was doing nothing illegal, we must exempt all doctors from criminal charges and exonerate those of us ruined by a Justice Department run by criminals for money. Find out the real cause of drug abuse on my website www.sevenpillarstotalhealth.com and how doctors are being attacked illegally on www.doctorsofcourage.org.Jul 4th, 2016Someone from Jamestown, ND signed.

Every since the CDC changed the guidelines many, many chronic pain patients, myself included, have been limited and/or denied pain medication, despite NEVER, EVER having abuse them. We are now suffering beyond belief & have no quality of life. The impact these changes have caused are inhumane & critical. Please take our pain into consideration & let our doctors treat us without the fear of CDC, DEA and any other government agencies taking away their license & other repercussions.REPORT COMMENTS

I have Fibromylagia, arthritis, depression, anxiety, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I was on stronger medication at one time, but went back down to Percocet cause what will help me later? But then they took some of my doses away and lowered the dosage. I barely make it. You need to help us.mREPORT COMMENTS

I've been in pain management since 2011 for degenerative spine issues in my lumbar and cervical spine. I've had 3 operations and still live with severe chronic pain. I take my prescriptions as prescribed. I am drug tested every 3 months and randomly and I have never tested positive for abusing my prescriptions. Why can't the government support TRUE pain patients? Why are there not major stories in the media with our Senators HELPING PEOPLE LIKE ME?? I'm being punished by not be prescribed enough pain medication to control my pain so I suffer with chronic fatigue, insomnina and many days in tears due to the severe nerve pain. PLEASE listen to the pain patients that follow ALL the rules, but are discriminated against due to the people that abuse their prescriptions.REPORT COMMENTS

The worse thing about it is the reps from the CDC & DEA knew the Drs would overreact and NOT even read the whole thing!!! Thus ignoring many parts!!! Clinicians are so intimidated about losing their medical licenses until they are doing great harm to sickle cell diagnose pain patients! #DrspleaseREAD For Sickle Cell Opioids Under Scope and Audience #46 CDC says refer to NIH 2014 Sickle Cell guidelines CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain ? United States, 2016 http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/65/rr/rr6501e1.htm In addition, given the challenges of managing the painful complications of sickle cell disease, readers are referred to the NIH National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute?s Evidence Based Management of Sickle Cell Disease Expert Panel Report for management of sickle cell disease (46). http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health-pro/guidelines/sickle-cell-disease-guidelines/REPORT COMMENTS

I have never gotten "high" on my pain meds. I only use them rarely to help me get out of bed for activities of daily living (food, bathroom, showering). I am a "patient" and you are not my physician. I am just asking to live a more comfortable life since I can not be cured of my chronic pain.REPORT COMMENTS

Take your entire upper body and lie it on a hot stove. Have someone hold you there for days at a time, you can pull yourself off, and you can take nothing for the pain. That is what I feel, 24 seven 365 days a year . I feel it over my entire body. You will send me to the street, to buy from the black market, if I cannot get what allows me to live without praying for death. I have never in my lifetime used any illegal substance. You are forcing a genocide on pain patients. The greatest equalizer will be death and Gods judgement on you for what you are doing. You are no different than the bullies of the British government with the tea act. People will react. I'd caution you to remember you are but a car accident or some other injury away from being in our sameplace.REPORT COMMENTS
