there should not be a time limit on benefits that we paid for. circumstances change for everyone and we don't all work in the same time constraints.

The job that I got straight out of the Army took up a great deal of my time traveling. 10 years went by before I knew it. Now that I have settled in I sure could use those benefits.

After separation, work and making money was the priority. Now that's ended, I would like to use my GI bill, go to a trade school, and develop a skill doing what I really want/enjoy doing.

We paid so we should either have not expiration date or get the money we didn't use back.

Expiration dates on all G.I. Bills should be lifted. This would be the best help veterans could receive...the ability to get a proper education without time limitations as most cannot immediately take advantage of the bill after separation.

After raising two children as a single mom it would be nice to be able to use the benefits I paid now that I have time.

Had the Army College Fund but was unable to use much of after getting out of the Army. Did 4 years in the Reserves, followed my military husband from base to base and now i have to use his GI Bill to finish my degree because the time limit expired on mine. I served my country for 10 years. You should have the benefit for life. I earned it by enlisting in the Army and choosing the job I chose in order to get the college fund.

This would help older veterans who left active duty 15 or 20 years ago and are now starting over obtaining a new career. Why should a person lose a benefit they paid for.

The benefits should remain until you have used them all up. It shouldn't matter how much time has passed.

Our committed military continues to have life long effects from their service for our Nation so why should any benefits not have a life long time period as well?
