Yes this is real and doctors need to stop being so foolish! I suffered 3 months before I got a dr to stop saying "psyche eval" & listin! When one was not arrogant and actually referred me to parasitologist. I got the ivermectin I needed but it's been 3 more months now & still battling the parasitic infestation! If they had only listened in the beginning I would not be this bad off! Lost time from my families life because of Drs thinking I was nuts! They should rethink that statement & reread their medical books! This is not a 3rd world country problem! My family would be considered is upper middle class. We are conscientious & clean! My disaster of again after the months of rain this year in Texas. I live out in the country and without trying to clean things up and I was physically and lots of water. Very soon after the nightmare began. My life has been overtaken buy it singing and scratching and sleepless nights and medications that do not work with Dr that don't seem to have any idea or act like I'm crazy... I've had the resistant scabies mites for 8 years now and doctors can't/and or don't want to help me. I have suffered endlessly with these things crawling all over me day and night. Everyday is a battle where I apply a barrage of toxins on my body in hopes of feeling normal. All prescribed medications failed me. I am left on my own to self treat, very day I gamble with my life using heavy duty chemicals. Often making myself sick but I have no choice because if I do nothing I will become completely infested. i have thought I had bed bugs but never seen any of their evidence over the last 3 years. I realize now it has been bird mites. One just burrowed into my skin a month ago and my once subtle symptoms have escalated into a total nightmare. I am getting mysterious lesions and bruises all over my body and my body has a constant crawling sensation of bugs on me. I have just thrown away almost all my possessions and devote every spare second to cleaning my apt with bleach and borax from top to bottom. I am so scared and terrified and have little hope for the future ahead. I have been a healthy vibrant productive artist for my whole life and now I am unable to sleep concentrate eat or do anything joyous or productive. I avoid sitting down or sitting still whenever possible to reduce the buggy sensations. I am only 36 and all my joints have severe pain and at times seize up and I can't move my neck or shoulders for days at a time. I went to doctors and they dismiss all my symptoms saying. I'm not 20 anymore and this pain and limited mobility is a normal part of aging! My life is turning into a disaster overnight. What to do? Is there a forum elsewhere for those suffering like us? I feel so alone and worried that I am infecting everyone around me with this nightmare. Does not help that I live in NYC. Please help. Please shine a light on this horror.REPORT COMMENTS

Im currently staying with some friends who's whole house and lives have been taken over by these morphing little Aliens,, or Demons,, your choice. Not from here,, all I know. But!! I may have a name for them ,found this totally by accident on the web. Here goes, I think they're called or related somehow to Collembola ,, Or AKA "Springtails " my mother calls them and I remember well Snow Fleas.. nasty microscopic bunch that morph and mutate into some pretty unrealistic looking things. Guys,, I Ain't Fn Joking either. Only way I've found to rid yourself from the black specks and sores was by accident,, my ear canal swelled shut from all this and I got a staph infection in my ear canal. My eardrum popped. My doc gave me a shot of Rocephin for two days then oral 300 mg twice a day for wk and a half. They leave but the ones that feel like someone groping your head and legs are another thing. Tea Tree oil does work to fend them off but they're after fungus mold and yeast and a place to lay more eggs. Yeah Hoo right, but once they get into your house in the walls and floor carpet furniture, douse yourself with pesticide get a can of gas and torch and seriously burn the ducking place to the ground. I have been tormented by these invisible demons for 6 months now. It has been the most horrific experience of my life. I have scoured websites and looked at pictures trying to figure out what these invisible bugs on my body are. My live in boyfriend thinks I'm insane, because he claims he isn't affected and he doesn't see anything. But, these bugs are plaguing me. I feel them on my body, even on my head. They bite. They are in my clothes, my bedding, my furniture. I have carried them to my work and even to my sons house. My ex husband now says he has them in their house. This is a nightmare, and no one seems to know to look for them. I am afraid to go to people's house, or really to go anywhere. I've tried everything under the sun, and nothing brings permanent relief. I would rather die than continue living this hell on earth. Why don't people and doctors know about these demon bugs that practically eat you alive. If I'm not itching, I feel like they are biting me. Someone PLEASE DO SOMETHING!REPORT COMMENTS

Just had to read some of these again to help me out of feeling so alone and in this never ending pit of despair. I am going through another one of their "cycles" These Evil things seem to grow and transform each time they go through whatever changes ,(who knows. Someone does, but those of us suffering this hell do not). I am having the worst outward reaction that I've had since I first realized the parasitic aspect 2yrs ago. (I had been bothered by them for 4yrs prior to that. Just could've never imagined!!!). Anyway, I hope that someone helps us. Seems the best we get are us helping each other. I know of no one where I live now who is suffering from this-probably for the same reasons many of us feel so alone in our Plague of our century. I am in complete disbelief there are so many people fighting this same nightmare. For our government to remotely consider this commonality amongst so many sufferers as being delusional is a complete TRAGEDY and a cover up! There is absolutely no possible way this many people signing this petition are all delusional! This is epidemic is REAL! These insects/mites are REAL! People who are suffering from this are REAL upstanding Americans! I am an intelligent, hardworking and respected woman. I have a beautiful home that is cleaned daily. I have ten acres of land that I use to enjoy maintaining! Hence, ?use? to enjoy! I cannot mow grass without feeling as if something is biting me. Often mysterious scratches will instantly appear afterwards. My dogs whine as they roll their backs across the grass due to the anguish of itching. There are no fleas visible and they are all given Frontline on a monthly basis. Mysterious bruises, sores and scratches appear constantly. The feeling of something crawling on your skin has become the new definition of INSANITY! In addition, I have often questioned how many sufferers live near farms exposed to sludge! Yes, human waste as fertilizer! After all, feces drawls in BUGS and human waste carries so MANY diseases! Not only so, all of these Liberals have made it nearly impossible to even spray for mosquitos! Between the mosquitos, ticks, beetles, bird mites, and now this mysterious super bug, living in South Georgia has been a nightmare over the past three years! Again on the brink of homelessness I have to wonder WHY & HOW this could be ignored by anyone with an ounce of compassion. However, as I've read here, and as I've experienced firsthand, unless you have been affected or in the thick of this with loved one's ,(even pets), there is a level of awareness that cannot be attained. I try 3 times the fumigation and 1 with smog and no luck I try Home Depot and products from the Internet even for horses and dogs and did not work I wash every day I rent a storage to move lots of my things so I can clean right or better most of my clothes are in the storage I feel they are in my skin I don't know what to do My mom now has them and I think I took them to my work now my boss and his girlfriend has them I'll be fire soon. I need to state an addition point that the CDC should weigh; due to the fact most health providers are dismissive of this agonizing condition, people are absolutely desperate to rid theirselves of the physical & emotional torchure (and finacial disaster) that they are going to extremes to end it. People are self prescribing and ordering antihelminiths online, using medication prescribed by veterinarians for their pets, using and consuming bleach, Borax, rubbing alcohol, pestisides, over fumigating their homes and cars, using detergent on their skin, soaking in dangerous toxins all out of desperation. This "condition" will drive the most educated, mentally stable people to do whatever it takes to eradicate this life altering and disabling disaster. There is no doubt it had driven people to suicide as well. It's that urgent that change and awareness must be made. If this were afflicting your loved one(s) or if you could witness the day to day suffering, public awareness would be made. When it starts to affect more people in the medical community, there will be change. In 90's, I suffered from Fibromyalgia and was misdiagosed, dismissed, and told "fibromyalgia does not exist". Fast foward 20 yrs, Lyrica is widely prescibed to millions who desperately need it. Isn't it ironic how many people from FL are afflicted w/ this "parasite"? I've been to dozens of dermatologist, infectious disease, ER's, and internal medicinist and none of then want to treat me or take my case. I've been labeled "delusional" and forced into psych units, where I'm released after 72 horrifying hours w/ no psychiatric dx. I have no history of any mental illness. Doctors are ignorant to this condition and simply do not care! Meanwhile, I've lost everything I own, can not work, am forced to isolate myself. I've lost friends, family, been homeless, and have lost my dignity due to damage this has done to my teeth, skin, hair, and nails. It's now affecting my heart and I've bern recently dx w: type 2 Diabetes, among other serious health conditions. This had been an eight year nightmare. It's only getting worse. Before I was infected, I was in excellent health, active, and had a full life. Now I can no longer leave my home and have days I can not get out of bed. If I'm forced to go to the store or an appt., I'm covered from head to toe in wearing long sleeves long pants, in the Fl 99 degree weather. I've lost my quality of life completely.
