Its not all exactly the same thing affecting people but similar enough It may be morgellons or animal mites or collembola or super scabies but its parasites microsopic under skin. Just because its not in the Merck manual doctors are often invalidating and the ones that do see there is definately some type of problem going on dont know what to do except benadryl and hydrocortisone which doesnt dolve problem. The medical community needs to start tak ng skin parasires much more seriously. Even many forms of acne are now being recognised as a form of demodex. Its I'm important that folks with mites stop poo-pooing others with Morgellons because there are folks with nano fibers coming out of skin!!!! The CDC needs to investigate as soon as possible. This appears to be a type of bird mite. Morgellons is likely not a real disease, but is actually the result of infestation by a species of bird mite. This needs to be pursued. It is not uncommon for farmers to have extreme difficulty ridding their hen houses of the mite (it's resistant to most everything which explains why infestations persist).REPORT COMMENTS

I am a clinical therapist holding a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan. I can diagnose psychiatric illness and know when someone is experiencing delusions or hallucinations. I guarantee I do not and have not ever had any type of psychosis. I have been living with this itchy skin parasite for almost 9 years now. The only way I have been able to contain it so that it doesn't get completely out of control is to live in a home with no carpet or rugs and clean the floors with Bezarid and water every other day and wash all of my clothing and bedding in Borax after every use. When it's humid or raining out, I need to work harder because the mites increase exponentially. I'm not shocked that the CDC doesn't have a solution yet because this is a complex problem without easy solutions. But what horrifies me is that the CDC seems to refute and deny this problem rather than begin to address it. What does it take? Does someone with a compromised immune system at the CDC need to be infected with this to prove there is a world wide epidemic under their nose. Every University in the world should be working feverishly to find a cure for this. I am a strong survivor and keep going but I don't want to spread this to others and want to live life again too.REPORT COMMENTS

I beg you to please force someone to do something about this terrible condition that is killing me quickly and killing my daughter slowly. I know it is easy to say that these people are crazy but unfortunately we are not. I would rather be crazy then see what I am seeing w a 10x magnifying glass. I should have never bought it but I am desperately trying to figure out what is biting me, itching and causing me to be so terribly sick I cannot function. I was a teacher. I had respect and dignity. now I can't leave the house. I know this condition is VERY real and contagious in my opinion. I know this parasite better than most. I have studied it and dealt with it actively for 3 years and had it longer than that. I almost died. I have PICTURES, VIDEOS, ABD SAMPLES. I know that the study at the state university of Oklahoma was right on the money. COLLEMBOLA AMONG OTHER THINGS. this study showed 18 out of 20 people with delusional parasitosis had collembola. why is our government and the cdc along with just about every doctor and hospital ignoring this problem??? it has come out of every area of my body. I have had huge bugs with stinger like things on the end appear in my diaper(49 and I have to wear a diaper due to both types of incontinence.) after an mri for severe shoulder blade pain which caused me immense pain in my spleen. the hospital knew this was a parasite but they didn't know what kind. I showed them pictures because I am sick of doctors throwing out my samples. they actually believed me but sent me on my way once again with no answers. I offered to bring the samples but it seems that no one really wants to know the truth. so many are infected. WE NEED ANSWERS. this parasite has made my severely deaf, lost my good eyesight, had to leave my job, I live w terrible pain, biting, itching, debilitating fatique due to low thyroid and anemia, over 10 surgeries 5 in my spine, sores all over, embarrassing things moving under my skin that are visible at times, I have had to take so much medication it's ridiculous, I lost the respect of friends, family, my own child, and my doctors. I found one compassionate doctor who is treating me or I would be DEAD from encephalitis. the headaches were so awful I understood why people take a drill and put holes in their skull. nothing came back in the tests proving it was encephalitis but the pain was so extreme I knew I only had about a month to live. I was a functional person. I was a teacher. I have my own house and savings that is now in jeopardy. what makes anyone think for one minute that all of us are just crazy and had a break in reality. a permanent one. it's not true. I have seen this parasite in action. it is real. I can see it and I can take pictures of it. people close to me see it. they look at the pictures and videos and they know it's a bug. a parasite. doctors can see it. why. why won't anyone break the barriers of this illness??REPORT COMMENTS

Pigeon mites, rat mites, chicken mites etc. plus morgellons what it comes down to is there are any number of type of mites eating, burrowing, mating defecating and laying eggs in human skin and they are difficult to test for. Ivermectin was not the Holy Grail for me it did not work. This has ruined my life and i cant go much longer like this. The ears really do bleed a lot when they bite and that makes it difficult to work. Ive cuts and open sores all over my body that just spontaneously appear plus there's the lovely crawling sensations or movement. Pure Hell. I see ppl on the bus scratching and it cant all be dry skin from switching laundry detergent! We are likely at the beginning stges of an epidemic. Since nobody likes being viewed as having bugs this i believe is going under reported. We got a dog from the pound who had burrrows on her skin if you parted her fur and a bowel problem suprise suprise now i have burrows and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I believe some of these mites can carry a secondary bacterial infection. The dermatologists and doctors really don't know very much about parasites. These things mutate and what is assumed about them is out dated. Major overhaul needed and a task force unit on various types of previously under or unrecognized mites that are now plagueing humans needs to be implemented. The skin creams do not penetrate deeply enough into skin. There needs to be some really innovative cures devised. God help us.REPORT COMMENTS

My mother is infected with this demon, and has spread it to my younger sibling and step father. She picked this up in KY, and for 3 months now she has been suffering relentlessly. In and out of the Psych ward, no one believed her. She was finally able to convince the doc to take a stool sample and he finally validated her! But yet, neither he, or the CDC will acknowledge or tell her what she has. She excretes blood in her stool, I have watched a worm crawl under her skin from her ankle to her thigh, the scratching and the flaking and the disorientation is getting worse. Idk what else to do, doctors will not help her. She herself is an RN, and she has heard these notes are so bad in KY that they are killing off the bird population there. I am a 30 year old divorced mom to a 4 year old daughter in Rockwall, Tx, I have (probably not for long now) a good job that requires a lot of traveling throughout the US. Every single symptom described on this so called morgellons disease, I have been suffering with and more. I know it is a mite of some sort, but am continuously told it isnt scabies and they dont see any bugs or lice. Every hospital/doctor acts like I am crazy. I am terrified and the things that I have witnessed have left me completely trembling in fear. I have done a lot of research, and the outcome seems to continue to be this "mysterious disease" which is very depressing bc there is no cure. I don't think that I can live a life with this. It is ruining everything. I told myself 2 nights ago that I HAD to get this work done bc I am on thin ice with my job, and as I was typing blood started dripping onto my keyboard bc the "thing" that I thought was out of my ear and healing decided to emerge itself and move, so blood was everywhere. I don't know what to do. I have found this gunky stuff all over my house that keeps showing up even after I bleach it. When I spray bleach or alcohol on it, the whole area around it has this lint stuff that shows up. I have a INSANE amount of lint on everything that burns my daughter and I. I cant wash whatever this is out of my clothes, towels etc. There are these little specks of "dust" that fly around me. I could go on and on about this craziness. The little wormy things that are almost impossible to pull out of my skin even though they look like they would just easily lift out. The crystal specks that come out of my skin and make my skin twitch. The muscle pains, the moving things in my skin. I cannot be the only one that is experiencing this, yet the hospitals and doctors can't help me. I washed everything on antibacterial setting and put the clothes immediately into airtight travel bags and into a suitcase I hadnt used in a year. I washed my body/hair and put clean clothes on and went to the airport a week ago to Florida. Whatever this evil demon plague is followed me there. The rapid pace in which I watched it take over the hotel room/shower was unimaginable. My boyfriend (who lives in New Jersey) also stayed in the room and is now experiencing symptoms. My house has been exterminated and bombed several times. Before this, I would have fought to the ends of the earth to have my daughter with me at all times, but now I am contemplating having her stay with her dad until I can get control of this. I am about to lose my job bc of it. I need some help. This morning I had ServPro come out (hey specialize in mold and biohazard cleanup) and they said that there is definitely something terrible going on, but they dont know what/how to identify what it is. Hello my fellow demodex victims. I have had demodex for 13mo now. Im from California and the dfurst 8 mo i couldn't find anyone who had been cured until i moved to Seattle in late December 2014 where i found a support group holding a trial study and two weeks after i discovered the group they ended the study finding that an antiparasitic drug called ivermectin was 100% affective on everyone after taking a single dose. I too have been treated like im delusional by 8 doctors, but i convinced my gp to prescribe it to me one time. After that he refused to continue treating me or prescribing to me because I no longer lived in ca. The dose is one pill per 30ibs and ea pill is 3mg. I didnt notice a change until the second week then i saw my skin change, the mites i itched off were dead or dying, the ones living in my eyelids disintegrated and the sebum or oil they consumed from my body released back into my skin and on my eyes. My hair became softband touchable and the annoyances stopped, all this lasted was for thatsecond week but by the third week i noticed the mites that survived and perperhaps some in my apartment began to bother me again. They went from soft carcasses to razor sharp again and mass reproducing. My doc wouldnt prescribe anymore medicine and not one of 5 doctors would prescribe it as they were unfamiliar and believed my symptoms were a hallucination because the could not see the mites despite me giving loads of samples. I think its because the docs were putting samples in a tube w acid to disolve the dead skin cells which actually disolved the mites as well. One type of mite looks like a tiny black dot and grows into a tiny black splinter the other is anclear tiny dot. The black razor sharp ones could cause a sensation like a horsefly bite while the others cause a sensation of dust particals entering the sinus cavity during inhalation and a tickling feeling as they rose to the surface in my nostril, eyelids,lashes,brows and all over my face. I could go on and on with symptoms that far exceed any info online. They spread from hair to body by falling off hair onto skin and clothesnas well as during showers they runndownnface and body with the soap, shampoo and conditioner. Ratherbthan spend an hour talking about the symptoms ill skip straight to the cure. We fortunately can obtain the ivermectin online in a form made for horses. Its amazing. Inorder from amazon. It comes w six tubes per order for $25. Start with a small dose to see if ur allergicnor not. Its an apple flavor and has a suringe type tube with no needle. The part u push has weight marks. I started with enough for a 250ib pony or baby horse by swallowing it and washing down w anything i wanted. I was totally fine w no side affects but it took a cpl days to notice signs itbwas working. These freak show numerous strains of flesh eating mites go above the neckline are passed back and forth from pets and live off host in the environment for months at a time reinfecting the victim. Such behaviours are all not typical of regular scabies so medical establishment just blows ithe whole thing off meanwhile there are many ppl suffering in agony. Mites from animals on humans are elusive meaning they dont stay still in one spot for long like typical scabies so its hard to test for them by taking a standard biopsy which makes unhelpful doctors furthermore incredulous. So some type of magnetic resonance needs to be encouraged for testing for mites or an alternate ceative new testing procedure. There is a serious problem going on. Dermatologists accross the country need to be told to stop labelling everybody as delusional parasitosis just because they dont fit into a pre set schemata. God, Ivermectin, and a hair dryer cured my scabies after one full year! Tried everything else; cleaned house and cars from top to bottom, dusted everything with DE, sealed unused clothes in plastic bags, high heat washer and dryer, permethrin cream several weeks in a row, hat sauce, hydrogen peroxide... You name it! Spent thousands on permethrin cream and ivermectin pills. Nothing worked! I begged God to cure me and promised to quit my repeat sins. I took horse paste Ivermectin in a ratio with my body weight, bought industrial permethrin and mixed with water for spray on specific areas, and used a number 1875 hair dryer on areas that itched for as long as I could bare the pain instead of scratching! Finally, after one full year of hell these things are dead! I would not wish them on my worst enemy! I am out of work and depressed over the torment the tenacious little bastards put me through!
