We've had these rodent mites for six months now and had to abandon our house ( so many bites on us we look like we have chicken pox). This is after six pest control companies could not eradicate them, even after removing the rodents. They multiplied into the thousands before we realized what they were. We were living normal lives before this. I relocated five hundred miles away and brought them with me, accidentally infecting my girlfriend. She now suffers with me. They get into cars, workplaces, clothes and fabrics, so all horror stories about bird mites I made fun of? They are true. It took buying a steam cleaner, thousands of dollars in losses (furniture and clothes) and chemical assaults, and they are still here. For those wondering, they are almost impossible to eradicate in clothes, and that's half your issue. In fact there are studies showing mites live up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit unless you steam your clothes at 200 degrees or wash your clothing in chemicals that kill them. We're slightly better. For those suffering: you have a bird or rodent nest on your premises that needs removing. Then comes the hard part of eradicating the mites. For skin, bathe in 10% sulphur soap, and use Sulphur8 shampoo for hair, and rub sulphur ointment on whole body before bed. It will help to do this before bed. Please investigate this very real issue and disturbing issue. We are normal people just asking for help. Astounding how little experts know about this. Anyone reading literaure that they don't live very long or live off humans is delusional. Bird and rat mites easily do so. Heck, there's an NIH article showing their ability to switch hosts. Entomologists are so out of date in understanding parasitic mammal mites, which I assure you all that you are dealing with.REPORT COMMENTS

FYI the literature on bird mites/whatever type mite this is is WRONG. They DO burrow into your skin. I have the lines to prove it, and have seen tiny white/translucent bugs phase through the pores in my skin. They infest scalp and body, bite, and leave pin-prick scabs that are unnoticeable to anyone who doesn't know that they aren't normally there. Thousands of people cannot be "delusional". They are resistant to most drugs and chemicals, and extremely difficult to eradicate. Telling people that animal mites cannot burrow into human skin is an outright lie. This may have been true in the past, but no longer. I have been suffering with this for 2 months, and doctors are no help. People are poisoning themselves with harsh chemicals and animal anti-parasitic drugs in desperation to rid themselves of this horrid condition, and just to GET SLEEP. This is not a delusion. These are real insects/arachnids/what have you. Something must be done to stop these mites, and the first step is admitting that they DO infest people and live underneath their skin.REPORT COMMENTS

I have filed through the VA for misappropriations of tax dollars because it is OUR government who has enabled this parasite to attack and make citizens ill. Whatever this affliction is, or comprised of, it's debilitating. I don't have it but am witnessing the breakdown of my daughter's body, via internet. We live a long distance away and I'm only able to help from where i sit. In this modern world, with fungus, bacteria, and other organisms becoming resistant to treatment, or mutating into new organisms, the CDC needs to make a serious study of what is plaguing these poor people, eating them alive. I do not think that I can go on like this too much longer. I still go through occasional periods of Hope, Faith, desire to fight so I can help other's with this nightmare. However, more often than not I am becoming so suffocated within my being by these things. Each time it seems, with a new diagnoses, a new scientific explanation ,(another thing: the "disinformation highway" has kicked up their fight to disprove those researches whom actually seem to CARE about humanity. Some of what I see scares me due to the overall unfortunate parts of society where ignorance is bliss. Even some of the most intelligent & respected people I've known seemingly won't even consider that this nightmare is a reality). Who do you turn to? When those affected by the Dust Bowl years ago , those who eventually died from it, KNEW that they could SEE something that was EVERYWHERE around them , that was KILLING them--- How did they cope with those who were not as affected? How did those less affected feel when their loved one's or others ended up DEAD? I cannot go on if this is to be my life from now till my time is up. My time has "felt" up before, but not like this. We are losing too many beautiful, creative, loving, intelligent souls ,(YES INCLUDING EVEN MORE INNOCENT VICTIMS - CHILDREN AND PETS), to this. It becomes increasingly more difficult to ignore what's happening & Im too sick & too tired to hear ,"Just don't feed into the dark side; Just don't focus on the negative; Its JUST lint; its JUST hair; MAYBE the stress ----- I LOVE . "I LOVE". I cannot "LOVE" and continue down this road. I've experienced suicide close to me. I have loved one's I've felt I WANT , NEED, AM WORTH Living for. I'm losing the worth and I don't know how much anyone needs what I have left to offer. I'm not going out yet, but I dread having to relive life on this planet if I'm not Forgiven for giving up . I see fibers on everything. Even a brand new box of qtips.....They are moving. Kaiser has done NOTHING for me. This h hit me hard this past July it hit me really hard. I thought of everything that could be is it a Botox injection, is it the that I fell in and got a huge gash on my elbow behind her vine lake in California is it the old palm tree that I fell into that same month on my right upper arm and got these little teeny needles under my skin I've done my research this is more gallons or whatever you guys are going to call it when you finally realize it's real. I bet I have at least 8 different bacteria or fungi cruising around in my system right now. I was rubbing green stuff off my hands, my finger tips and nails were turning green. I'm assuming that's the biofilm layer that's left on everything I touch I can hear clicking sounds when these things are surfacing in coming out of my skin. Over the past three months the things that are coming out of my skin are surfacing are different shapes colors sizes etc I have personal slides of collections I've made. No one cares to look at them. Avoiding this is not going to make anything go away. It's EVERYWHERE!!! Please I beg you to help us; you will help save homes and it's contents, sanity, pets, food supply, not to mention LIVES! This monster of a parasite has followed me from AL to GA. I've been to the DR several times over the last 2 years. Put all kinds of toxic medications and chemicals in and on my body, throughout my home, and my two dogs. I am already disabled from bipolar depression, fybromyalgia, and a weakened immune system. I feel as if I'm going out of my mind and fear I will never come back. The only food I can keep in my house is canned food; they creep into my refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and all its contents. I support both my 26 yo son (who is suffering from borderline retardation) and myself on my disabling income. We don't have the resources to buy food one meal at a time or the cost and energy for cleaning and supplies. I feel so helpless and hopeless. My skin & scalp have been crawling with bugs for about a month now. I have been able to see some by scratching my scalp. They make deep burrows all day long, and cause a constant crawling sensation and occasionally bite, leaving a small pinprick scab. Nothing seems to kill them. The ones that "surface" can be washed off, but the burrowed ones remain. If they are bird mites, all official literature says they cannot and do not burrow into human skin. I HAVE BURROWS IN MY SKIN ALL DAY. They seem to go deeper the more I apply things to get rid of them. Something needs to be done. This is totally ridiculous. My symptoms started 2 years ago in Feb. It took me a while to figure out what it was and still I TRY to convince myself it's something else. In the beginning I lost a large portion of hair on the top back part of my head. I've seen things come out of my body that you'd see in a science fiction movie. At first I told everyone I knew, HUGE MISTAKE! now many of those people dont speak to me any longer, family& friends. I TRY to ignore it most times, unless I'm alone. I don't talk about it. I got into a relationship almost a year ago. I told him all about it, and he's seen the specks exit my body, the fibers and he can't deny that it's very odd. I've thought about killing myself when they REALLY seem to flare up and become more active. The stinging is so painful and the crawling is unbearable. I am prescribed valium for back pain and I've tried taking a couple when the morgies are most active. They DO seem to calm down but NOTHING gets rid of them. I've just come to the conclusion that I HAVE to live with it. I've tried all the home remedies you see online and some do help temporarily. I just don't understand why the government won't help us and write us off as crazy or mentally unstable. I'm not sure how I contracted it. I'm not sure if I've given it to anyone else. as many sites tell me it's not contagious, I find as many telling me it is. if I have given it to anyone maybe they're afraid to talk about it. It's scary to think that no one who can help will acknowledge it exists. There are WAY too many people who speak of the EXACT same issues for it to be unreal. It's time for the CDC to come forward and announce this illness so us who suffer can be treated. If it cannot be cured there has to at least be a treatment So we can function and live somewhat normal lives. Our children and families are being affected if they aren't infected with it because they have to watch us trying to figure out ways to live with it. Please PLEASE help us. Right now we don't necessarily NEED to know how it started but we DO NEED medical attention!! If anyone in the Milwaukee area would like to help me start a support group please contact me. While taking a walk, I noticed a dead cat in the street. I went home, got some gloves, came back and rolled him/her tightly up in a large Hefty bag. I then placed the bag in an industrial area dumpster. Seems like a good solution. However, while placing the deceased cat in the bag I felt razor sharp bugs going into my skin. The feeling was very distinct. This feeling was mostly around my legs. Note, I was wearing shorts. This was a turning point in my life. I got home got into a bath and noticed that I felt like I had large lice in my hair. Moreover, I felt weird sensations in my hands and feet. Whatever, was moving around in me was causing me pain. Much like cramping pain. Shortly after which, my cat became infected. I have followed Ted's Cure and it has been helpful. However, it's been over a year and my cat and I still sick. In short, we have no real quality of life. Lastly, I have no idea what is infecting us. Doctor's believe I am delusional. I am really ready to give up. I just don't see the point in living like this, anymore. I am using horsepaste on my cat, in tiny increments. It helps, but has not eradicated the problem. Can anyone help?
