Use alcohol, 90 its a little more expensive. Put it in a spray bottle. Spray everything!!!! Liberally, daily, and more than once daily. As soon as you can no longer smell it, spray EVERYTHING again. Clothes, furniture, surfaces. Spray all wood and crevices even more liberally. Vacuum a lot!! Steam clean daily. It will kill them. Its a lot of work, but I'm bug free(again, I've fought them off twice.) and nothing else worked. Took a year to figure out this combo did the trick. Oh and dont forget. Seal all clothes and soft toys that aren't needed. Get them out of your home!! Run all your remaining clothes through the dryer daily on top of spraying them. After the bugs or whatever the evil lil bugger's are are cleared out bring in one bag at a time and wash in hot water, dry on high heat, and spray with alcohol lol. I'm fortunant I had no small children or animals, I don't think I'd have done this if I had. But I hate bug bites...and my older son was ravaged. I tried everything. Natural and chemical pesticides. Nothing but this combo worked for me. I upkeep regularly with alcohol now. Rather not go through all that work again.REPORT COMMENTS

Making me itch, i get crawling sensations, sometimes it feels like things hatching from my eye lashes, everyone around me scratches their face or hair about 15 times when they r around me, I itch around people but I don't scratch so they don't think it's me making them itch. I cant concentrate, i can't relax and listen to music. All I can think about is how I'm going to get rid of the crawling sensations. Topical creams won't work. And when I see the doctor again...if he prescribes me scabies meds again I'm switching doctors. My entire family is suffering from whatever this parasite is. You know I could understand delusional parasitosis if it was just one person. Whatever this thing is it is excellent at hiding. It seems to be able to camouflage in almost anything from hair to teeth to dry skin to finger and toenails... its in our eyes ears mouths scalps and it is miserable. My family consists of three children 7, 12, 13, and my mother that has alzheimers... every one of us is going thru the same symptoms. It is misery. My oldest daughter is twenty and lives all the way in colorado and she and her roommate came here for a visit. They stayed for a week. And they both too have the same problem now. They were told it was scabies and were treated to no avail the same as us. We have also been treated for pin worm.. Desperate and don't know what to do anymore. I go to work everyday with this problem, I constantly move around so people don't think it's me making people itch, so instead of itching myself I act like I don't itch...meanwhile everyone around me itches. Doctors sit there and tell me it's not contagious, but it is. It all started 5 months ago, I fell and scraped my knees, maybe I picked up something or maybe when we sprayed the house for bed bugs. ... the things living on bed bugs found me as the new host, or this one guy gave me a hug, I didnt want the hug but maybe he was trying to give me what he has on purpose, also in the house a rat died because my friend put out rat poison, but the rat is stuck between the walls. I don't think it's rat mites, because whatever I have is not visable. So maybe if we give what we have to everyone...once everyone has it..someone will probably find a solution. Because nobody likes to itch all the time. That crawling sensation. Hard to meet people but....also if everyone has it... then everyone else would cowar away like i do...even more difficult to meet people. So i have been trying things that have worked for other people. No high hopes. So if everyone gets it we will get some solutions.. So I'm giving it to everyone sense the doctors don't think is contagious. .. and just keep prescribing me scabies meds and trying to find something that works. My apartment became infested with what was diagnosed to be bird mites, in July 2014 due to negligent maintenance in my building. My fiancé and I were both bitten and seemed to become personally infested with this arthropod. Despite numerous extermination attempts and a heat treatment, we could not eradicate them. As such we left everything behind in that apartment. We have moved twice since then and still have them. We have been to the best doctors in Boston (a medical Mecca), and have received myriad responses, but were ultimately told by the Infectious Disease doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital to "learn to live with it" because they had no solution. Thankfully we are working with some doctors willing to try medications which do work, but which are too powerful for me to take in the doses that are effective, although they have cured my fiancé. I work for one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the world, and the arrogance and disinterest we have encountered by doctors and the general public is shockingly eye-opening. No one knows what to do about this, so they ignore it. A doctor acquaintance of mine called the CDC on my behalf but was quickly and solidly shut down; my acquaintance would not speak to me after that. We continue to try to make a life, but it's heartbreaking. We have no furniture but an air mattress, we keep our few pairs of clothes in garbage bags, and launder and steam clean every day. My life has become an utter loss and a nightmare due to the symptoms and lack of sleep. The "knowledge" of scientists and doctors is shockingly wrong; are we so arrogant these days that there is no more scientific inquiry? I ask that this issue be investigated; the economic impact of this parasitic disease is significant to our society when lost work hours are considered. What, I ask, is the medical and scientific resistance to solving this problem?REPORT COMMENTS

So, so glad I came across this. My wife and I were feeling so isolated in dealing with this issue, thinking it some sort of personal affliction. Much of the advice here I've read thus far we have found to help cope with it as well. Kleen Free additive in laundry as well as to wipe floors; vicks vapor rub, apple cider vinegar to apply on ourselves, etc. Also one thing I have not noticed yet in the notes that we have found helpfule is that by burning incense (fairly heavily) will quieten them down for a while (in terms of hours not days). Clearly though this issue both in spread and impact is out of the resources of normal citizens to deal with of themselves. This will need to take some sort of government-sponsored study and action. In jan 2014 i become sick i went to bed with nothing wrong i woke up completely. Blind in my right eye i went to my eye dr and he look at me and gave me meds and told me i need to see a head doctor as i had no $$single mom with four children so i could not do as he advised. Me too and went back to work once again i got sock with high fevers. And was sent to another county two hours away to be told pretty much nothing and sent home and then a hole ipened on it own neck/face area i went back to er they once again sent me to er out of county and yhat er sent me home with antibiotics. I been to walk in clinic. Witch swab it and when test came back nothing there so i asked what do you test for man said only bacteria. I ask if the tested for parasites. He said no i have been suffering for to long and very tired of people thinking i am crazy when now you can see the maggot. In my face and it feels like razor blades in my skin. Ive had this since April 2014 and it is pure hell. I've tried at least a hundred meds and herbs which control it but nothing gets rid of it completely. I wash my clothes and bedding often and clean constantly which helps. This is either in our food, water or air. I moved to an apartment in Las Vegas and something in the carpet started biting my feet and lower legs. Soon I had straight line cuts into my feet, and now I have been dealing with some type of parasite hatching on me for a year and 5 months. Doctors do not treat this. They are taught in medical school that anyone who says they have bugs on them is crazy, so there is no treatment. Consider how contagious this parasite is in that I got it from a carpet, not from human contact. And, how many people have gotten it from me by my going on public transportation, to a movie, going to a gym, hugging someone, when I move out of an apartment I know they are in the carpets, and the next tenant is going to get them from the carpets just like I did. Right before I picked up these parasites, I was taxed by my government a huge new death transfer tax, so on the one hand the government is telling me that I am so important that I had to pay about $700,000 in death taxes, my family paid a total of almost $3 million in death taxes, and none of us are wealthy at all, and then I pick up parasites and my government tells me they don't treat this. So I suffer and suffer and suffer, and doctors put in my medical record that I am nuts so now I can't get a Medicare supplement. I have been denied Humana, Blue Cross and United Health care due to doctors have no clue what this is. I am being libeled in my medical records, denied medical insurance, and not treated and I have lost about s$110,000 worth of furniture and clothing and am spending about $1,000 a month on antibiotics, silver, permetherin creams, etc. It is the absolute worst situation in that doctors leave you to die and abuse you at the same time and ruin your life every way there is. it takes 16 hours a day to do the cleaning, laundry, 2 showers a day, put all the stuff on skin and scalp, vacuum, spray carpets with pesticides, fog the entire place, fog clothing and you cannnot have a mattress, couch and very little clothing. The parasites burrow into things like mattresses. My body hurts badly from not having a mattress. I aged ten years in one year, my entire life has been taken from me. If the government says I am so lucky and so important that I had to give it $700,000 in taxes and it continues to take a 38 percent income tax from me and huge property taxes from me and capital gains taxes from me, how at the same time can it say I am some unworthy nut job who suddenly at the age of 57 became nuts, skitzophrennic, and we all know people get skitophrenia in their teens or early 20s. Supposedly all of these normal older people are magically suffering from wet brain from severe alcoholism, yet I have not drank since I was 25 years old. All of these people are regular sane people and they are suffering and suffering and suffering. The country is broke and doesn't have the money to give to the CDC to find out what this is, so please stop taking ANY tax money from me. This mite is invisible and highly contagious!!! We are not delusional. Feels like a 'no see um ' sting, leaves small red bite marks. It is not scabies. No scrapings or tissue punctures can find them. They can jump and hide away and then come back days later. (Can actually feel them spring on me and sting me when trying to bathe my dog. They jump off dog and on to me or go hide and come back. They laugh at flea shampoo! Very smart bug. We are on every flea, mite protection out there and have used professional extermination and many home remedies. Nothing works because you can't see them to fight this new bug and no current mite protection out there works. My sister and her pets got it first and then she spread it to me and my four pets and then her boyfriend and his pet. 3 seperate homes!!! My dog and I got them after only a few minutes of my sister coming by to visit one day, she had thought she had gotten rid of them because they disappear for a few days or weeks... then they rehatch and explode into a nightmare or itchy, sleepless nights. I immediately felt the stings after sitting across the couch from her and knew she had carried them in on her. We have all been suffering for a couple of years now and have tried everything and been to many Doctors and Vets. All find nothing and nothing they prescribe works. They just shake their heads in disbelief because it is new and unknown to the medical profession. AND, I am in the medical profession! These bugs can jump from host to host like a flea... only totally invisible. Again, it is not fleas or scabies or a mite you can see with naked eye. This is because this is a new and unknown species. My two children & I are suffering from a devastating parasite infestation. I have done so much research trying to pinpoint what this could be because hospitals are of absolutely no help. In the last 3 weeks, we have been to see medical staff in Dallas, TX 5 times but I have been treated as though I am insane. One hospital, Parkland, actually assigned a "shadow" person to watch over me after I explained my symptoms and what I thought was happening to me. I am college educated, a working mom, wife, and christian. I would not make something like this up. I have become deeply depressed and have even been thinking of taking my life if I can't beat this. My children were finally given albenza and it helped some, but not completely. I have not been given any treatment, it's getting worse by the day. Our house is now infested as well. It seems to be some super hybrid type of parasitic worm very much like hookworm/fluke/white worm. Some are threadlike and some are fuzzy and when added to peroxide they flip and pop and are very, very hard to kill! It's sounds crazy even to me but it is VERY real. They have invaded my skin, eyes, mouth, and scared they could be in liver, kidneys, heart...doctors don't believe. I have taken photos....photos that are very telling and detailed. I have been living with this hell for over 3 years now. Been to my PCP, poor women has no clue what to do. Emergency room, Dermatologist said it was my imagination. Started when drug dealers moved in upstairs with their 7 dogs who they would let loose in the buildings back yard. In the neighborhood there are a lot of wild cats and birds every where. We were inflicted with Red, Black, White fluffy looking mites and a huge amount of fleas. Needless to say it was hell. Killed the fleas but the mites are ferocious. I have learned, after all this time is the jumping feeling you get are from the babies after hatching. Think of it as a bunch of preschoolers running around at recess time. They are going everywhere. You need to get them at this time while they are active before they start to grow (as I call it their shells). They are also known as No-see-ums on the internet, I believe, the older they get, the bigger they get and the harder it is to get them out. In the beginning I thought of suicide because it was just too much. Now at least I am able to live a somewhat normal life. These items will be you best friends until we can figure out how to get them out from under our skins once and for all. Hand sanitizer, medicated lip balm (Lip Medex by Blistex works great), apple cider vinegar, rubbing alcohol, antiseptic mouth rinse, aloe vera oil or plant, vicks vapor rub. Nightly to keep them off your face I put on vicks combo with aloe vera all over my face and in my ears. Also put the lip balm on your lips around the eyes, ears and nose. Believe me when I say they do not like this stuff. If you have them in your ears they will come popping out. Also rinse your mouth with regular mouth wash, not the fruity kind. Helps to keep them out of your mouth at night. For those who are suffering with the non stop jumping feeling, take a shower with a mixture of apple cider vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and any type of aloe vera skin lotion, and add some warm water in a big bottle. Rinse first with warm water to get your pores open then from head to toe start rubbing in a circular motion (this is the best way) the mixture being careful of your eyes and mouth. Let it sit in your head for a while. With a little help from a family member (If they are willing) let them rub this into your back while your rubbing it in on the rest of your body. PLEASE, don't kid your self into thinking they are not everywhere because they are!! Between your toes, behind your knees, under your finger nails, EVERY WHERE. Nothing is sacred. After rinsing and you come out and still feel the Hot Heat sensation of something moving around, use the vicks on those areas, rubbing in a circular motion and you will see the black and red specs come out. Rinse off again. NOW you can get some sleep. I suggest you do this at least 3 times a week for those suffering the worst right now. As you start to feel them less and less you can give your self a break and do it once a week.REPORT COMMENTS

I have been to 6 doctors and one er visist, all tests show I have nothing wrong, mri blood. I feel movement around my anus at night. I think it is some sort of worm. I have insurance and have to buy otc medicine pin x to rid myself since doctors do nothing for parasites. they can't see the problem. What a fantastic waste of money. Please let American doctors know parasites exist. My children and all their friends who go in and out Mexico year round spend time here at the house and at asp. The ignorance of the medical field about parasites in general, especially skin parasites, is inexcusable. I came down with similar symptoms, but I believe i have lessionmanis rather than morgellan's disease. I've been to three infectious disease doctors, and five dermatologists. No one can seem to find a correct diagnosis ...continuously labeled Strep, Cellulitis, etc. Huge sores on my back and neck that fade and then return. Keep this under control with herbs and COQ10, but I am looking at a lifetime of misery until American doctors become educated about parasitic diseases. Been through the same routine of a dermatologist trying to play counselor rather than get to the root of the cause of the physical symptoms. What an embarrassment to the medical profession. Doctors in other countries would laugh our infectious disease docs and dermatologist right out the door. Something has got to be done.REPORT COMMENTS
