We are labelled dead-beat dads when in all actuality it is the dead-beat system applying pressure. Child support is a billion dollar industry that trades those who are imprisoned on the stock exchange, fifty million per inmate. A percentage is deducted from the fifty million then multiplied by three-hundred percent creating the incentive to excel with a mens rea evolving in an actus reus. Strict liability rests with the bankers offshore, courts here in the provinces of the ten square miled americas. How deep shall the lies go, do I have to mention every clue to expose the truth? To do such a task would be like introducing Obamacare, thousands of pages to say nothing. I will leave the investigative process to you, as I have done mine; what I want to know is what benefits come from the deadbeat system? The benefits are surely not social nor economically sound for a free and vibrant society. The father is treated as the enemy of the family which he carries in his sperm, women have periods to release a dead non-living egg or shell of a being. Men carry life, we determine the sex of the child, we are the head, do not get it twisted and think this is not another attack on the family to generationally degrade and conquer humanity. The father still has to provide support outside the system for the child but that is considered a gift, anything not contained within is a gift? We have a father who is paid $350 a week, the world dominating idealistic uncle sam wants $50 and what is left is $300. Out of that $300 child support wants $150-$160, now the father is left with $140-$150 to take care of his expenses. How? What if rent is on the low side at $400 a month now he has to save $100 a week consistently to maintain a dwelling; we still have not factored in his food, personal needs, personal bills like a cell phone or cable. Oh wait cable is a luxury I almost forgot, and lets not forget household bills and we still have not gotten to the child yet. These deductions are needing to be paid to sustain the fathers minuscule role as a man or be homeless. The child is nowhere in those deductions and is not mentally developed to comprehend that their father is being attacked and attempted to be economically murdered and socially handicapped. He can not obtain a passport because the robber barons feel their money slave will escape from off the plantation creating a speculation problem. The father can not receive taxes, his license is in jeopardy of being taken, wages garnished which means he will receive a check instead of a check, tax audits, etc. What does the mother get? She gets incentives for housing, she gets all her monies from her labor, if she has a certain amount of children around tax time she can easily get a return for a high four figure number all the way to a low five figure number; $5,000-$12,000. I have personally seen it because I have family and friends who do taxes and I also know Women who have received the money. Let u

Someone needs to change these laws. Paying child support even though I have my child 50% of the time and provide for all his expenses isn't child support, it's providing an income for a person who chooses not to work.

I first got my son at 4 years old and provided for his school I picked him up as well as take him to school. When ex decided she wanted child support she picked him up and never returned him. I paid the child support faithfully for him and my daughter until she called me and said you better come and get your son I just put him out. My son was 13 yrs old. I picked him after driving 4hrs to get him and 4hrs back. I told her if I have to raise him I'm not going to pay you for not doing anything. In 2010 my son turned 21 still living with me and I received contempt notice in the mail saying I owe 52000.00 thousand dollars in back support and when I went to court the judge apologize and told me that if the system was fair I would not owe her anything she would owe me because I still took care of my daughter, but he cannot do anything about it because she filed for child support. I tried fighting it but the results are the same both of my kids are grown but I still paying. Since then I have retired and I told them I could not pay the amount ordered 840.00 that I would pay 700.00 a month they said that's fine because it exceeds the 75%, well received a notice to suspend my drivers license if don't pay it all. I went department of revenue and said why are you now saying I have to pay it all, he said because the computer only identifies those who pay, those that don't pay get a free ride because we know they are not going to pay and men that pay most of their support have cars and value their license

This needsto work on men as well who manipulate the system and lie to the courts to somehow gain primary custody so they can get back at the other parent just to sit home and sell drugs.

I am a mother of 2 girls (19 & 16). I divorced their father over 12 years ago. I have never received child support (we work together to take care of our girls). The problem with the system is two-fold the lying bitter mothers (because the man decided not to stay/marry them for whatever reason) and the Judges (some of them are bitter). Most mothers go to court and lie about everything and the Judges, in my opinion fail because they only hear one side of the situations and they don't care or try to verify the information that the mothers are stating. Even when there are witnesses to verify that the mothers are lying the Judges refuse to hear the witnesses or the facts. Judges, hold the fathers responsible for not complying with the court orders but will allow the mother to violate the order time, after time, after time... Women know that, judges will believe anything they say so they lie to hurt the father. It breaks my heart because while the women are trying to hurt the fathers. In many cases they are setting their children up for failure. There are so many broken men, women, boys, and girls out there who are bitter because a parent was not there. In my opinion there are a lot of cases when the father want to be in their child/children lives but are not because of the bitter, lying Manipulative, lazy mothers and the judges who fail our children by not considering all the facts.

Child Support payments are all one sided. Why should I have to pay a high child support when it took both people to create the childred. Both parents reguardless of who they stay with should share in the cost of the child or children and health insurance. Why should the father pay exceedingly high child support and carry insurance while the mother gets on welfare, recieve food stamps and live on the system sitting on their behinds?

My ex got a great! financial reward to break up (/with no fault) our family with four kids. She got my paid off house and her boss is now living in with her. All thanks to the American perverted justice system. Everyone knows the system is broken and unfair but no one, including Obama, is doing anything about it.

My children complain that their mother does not have money to buy them things, yet she goes to to Las Vegas every year, every concert in town, eats out all the time, and all without the children that are receiving child support. the money they receive needs to be accounted for.

Custody should at least be a 50-50 split, and no adults should be subsidizing other adults because they choose not to work. Don't have money? Don't have kids. It's that simple. Can't support the kids you already have? Give them to the parent who can support them. It's not just about the money, it's about who is the more responsibly role model. The one who earns an honest living, or the one who just can't handle the stress of working 1 day a week, while seeing their kids just a few days a week, and scamming off the government because they learned that all single moms are entitled to a free ride.

I think that women that lose custody should be made to work to help support their kids, just like the Dad had to when she had custody. Our birth mother complained to the judge she was too sick to work so she only pays $50/month but is over $2000 behind b/c she refuses to work to get SSI. She got SSI and now works for cash and still doesn't pay support.

I agree 100% with this petition. I feel that child support laws need to be altered to be fair with both parents , after all it took both parents to create the child. I also feel that woman who collect child support should have a card much like the EBT card to regulate how the money they collect it used for the CHILD. I don't feel that child support should go towards moms who needs high end purses, clothes for themselves, expensive cosmetics or manicures/pedicures for themselves. It's CHILD SUPPORT not mother support.

i've always been a person to work and take care of my kids well me and wife seperated cause i caught her cheating and the courts awarded her custody of the kid not only that they gave her child support for 700 a month which makes it where i almost gotta stay with a family member to survive on top of that now she's moved out of state just to keep the kids away from me but yet i still have to pay her support because instead of getting a job she rather just live off the system how is that fair to me to work and support a lazy woman and my 3 kids whom i can't even see!!!!

I make good money, and most of it goes to my ex wife. so i do not bring much home. she smokes, and goes out to eat all the time leaving our kids home with no food. I can't even afford a lawyer to even prove it .I give them food to eat and more so i know they won't go hungry. The child support system needs a major overhaul, that needs to be fair for both parties.

Corrupt system for dads. Men always get the crappy end of the stick! I don't think a man should have to keep a woman and her husband up. He should pay a FAIR amount! Not 1 person can say they spend $1000 per month on a child. Absolutely ridiculous! I think it should be a set amount and the MOTHER AND FATHER half it. It is not a 1 person job. Women need to work, too! Just because they get a paycheck from their childs father does not give them a reason to sit on their lazy ass.
