My husband was served with child support with a woman who already has 3 kids from her previous marriage... She gets child support from him already... She basically trapped my husband when he told her he didn't want to be with her anymore. She seduced him and purposely got pregnant.. We don't even know her... She is making child support a career... We have 2 children together and we are legally married... They are asking him to pay 825$ he can't even afford paying our rent... Pls help me... We don't know what to do... There should be some punishment for women that trap men to stay... We are so broke right now and we don't know what to do... Speaking from experience of this unfair child support law..... I have a healthy and quite capable to go back to work ex-wife, who use to work for Congress woman Renee Ellmers in NC, sitting home and collecting $1300 + more a month for additional activities, additional health care costs and more a month. She and her new husband decided for him to accept a job in Louisiana that offered close to the 6 figure income. She is also making money under the table with her start up renovation business and babysitting which is not counted. Did I mention the 4 lawyers we are still trying to pay for that were not much help at all....Due to their hands were tied along with the Judges... Corruption is hard to swallow... We are struggling to pay and my wife just lost her because of her morality at work for being a Christian and carefully trying to bring everyone together during this chaotic time with sending a Happy Thanksgiving email to all staff. It included a prayer to pray for the violence, unethical rioting and deaths to stop and for God to work through our President Elect and his cabinet for the greater good of our nation and world. Wow... Is this what our nation has come to with no morals, lawlessness, no fair investigations or fair laws and true corruption and an open door to terrorism.... Thank God a savior has come and his name is President-Elect Donald J. Trump with his cabinet.... GOD BLESS AMERICA! "Our Fore Fathers, I know are so disappointed in what they worked so hard to build to make America." But they are for sure cheering now that we have a chance now to make America great once again! I'm being requested to pay 50% of my salary for a 2 year marriage plus medical insurance expenses. How is this possible being that I also have a child from my first marriage in which I have full custody of due to her mother's passing. How is it fair that she gets to work full time and get more than half my money when I too have a child to care for. She lives in an upscale apartment when I have to rent a room from someone else's home just to make ends meet. I lost my previous job due to not being able to afford toll/gas needed to get to work. How is this at all fair? And to top it all off, she cheated and ran off with another man. Here's the worst part, I only get to see my son every 7 weeks, pay 100% of the expenses to fly to PA from IL. Some men don't plan on leaving their kids. Sometimes, some women are so concern about hurting their Ex until they end up hurting their own child. Every child deserves both a mom and dad. To kick one parent out of the child's life because dad did not pay on time is to intelligently deny that child healthy life. It ends the progress of some children. Okay, Ex tried to get child support raised when I was sick and almost died from multiple pulmonary embolisms. but she would not cooperate with the court so the judge threw the case out and the Dist. Attorney showed $0 balance. that was the last I heard of child support from her until I started my own company and paid off ALL of my child support for my other two children (different mothers) I contacted the state where the original case was and they said there was no child support owed. I got my passport and my drivers license back. thought everything was good..... then after another bout with illness, I was forced to file bankruptcy and low and behold my ex hired Support kids to collect on the old original child support case that i had paid on for years until the judge threw out her request to up child support and wipe clean the case. (so I though and was told) now support kid is taking over $500 per month out of my paycheck with full intention of me paying the whole amount of an old case that i paid on for years. oh and the kicker is he is in his 20's now!!!!!!! i have called everyone i can think of to get some help but without $1800-$5000 no one will help.REPORT COMMENTS

my son is now 34 i wanted to get married to his mother but she had another guy that i didnt know about at that time she left had my son would not give him my last name but i wound up paying almost went to prison for 5 yrs but got weekly probation for the 5 yrs had to do a mental evaluation i have no problem what so ever plus drug and alcohol counseling and never and still dont do and a ged test plus took my drivers lic and charged me with a felony .she went and had kids with 3 other guys and im the one that got hurt im now 50 i never got to see or know my son i think after the kid is own his own it stops but they also gave him a check every month out of my social security so now iv nothing for later this is wrong so wrong .REPORT COMMENTS

Hi my name is Rose Spears the reason i'm writing to you today there so much bigger problems other than trying to pass the unfair law of child support through out new jersey ,You have people on welfare that abusing the system everyday and some don't need to be on welfare who been on it for years and don't want to work the tax dollars money that the people work hard for being spent on these people and you guys trying make child support it's the problem in trenton or through out nj when its not the problem in are community.You got some dead beat fathers don't want to step up to the plate of their responsibility.In my situation the father of my child for years didn't want to pay child support i had to work two jobs for years and made many sacrifices for my child and put and paid for him to go to Catholic schools and paid for his uniforms ,shoes ,clothes, food, utilities etc.His father didn't want to help or do any thing for his son or even pay child support oh he didn't want the responsibility to care for his son and then he drop out of sight for years because he was getting warning letters from child support services warning him if he doesn't paid it they going to have take legal action against him.And this been going on like that for years.That's what some of them do when they don't want the responsibility in doing the right thing for child/children hiding and ducking because they don't want paid. I had it hard and made many sacrifices for my child.Now child support caught up with him now he's paying child support because he had old huge amount of money in back support,If he had have done the right thing in the beginning by paying child support instead of trying to be slick by runway from what he owes and owning to his responsibility he would've been finished paying for it.In my opinion think i those dead beat fathers need to continue to keep paying child support no matter what your child age is if they have done what they supposed to do in the beginning could been all paid in what they owe but they didn't.I think child support should be treated like a bill in what they owe,you.can paid monthly or you can it in full no matter what child age is it's what they owe in back payment.I think you guys allowing these dead beat fathers off the hook kind of easy ,By passing the a law to stop continuation of child support that your child/children has to be certain age to continue to receive child support i think that unfair because why you allowing these dead beat fathers get away with paying amount they owe in back payment because that's what you doing ,This situation shouldn't be about a child age it be about of what they owe in back payment and they need to paid it all. My Ex asked me to sign the kid over to her new husband so I don't have to pay child support, She uses it as blackmail. If the government is truly concerned about veterans, they'll fix this. While my ex lives with two other adults her drug dealing boy friend and her best friend. I also get 4hours a week with my children. Where I ride the bus two hours each way to spend 2 hours with my children. One hour at the park and I spend one hour in grocery store while she shops. My partner's ex-wife cheated on him with multiple men, and left him deep in debt thanks to her credit card addiction during their marriage. The five years that they have been divorced and have shared placement of their two children, she didn't pay a dime in medical insurance, school expenses, never once took the girls to a doctor, never picked them up from school (they walked to their dad's after school on her days, and she would pick them up in the evening). Despite all that she loves to loudly proclaim to everyone who will listen how much she is struggling as a "single mother." Now she found out that her ex-husband earns more, and decided that she wanted to get his money. Every mother receiving child support or any government assistance should be random drug tested every month. She will only know what she has seen her whole life. Its the cycle that never stops because the government doesnt want it to stop. Does Adam and Eve ring a bell? What about Samson and Delilah? These stories tell you of how corrupt alot of women are. All this feminism crap needs to stop. Everyone deserves equal rights but it seems men are losing rights and women have more power. We need laws in place to make the man and the woman want to be together again...not laws in place only for the woman to have power over the man. Last but not least child support should have a cap. Also the judges should also understand the father can go through a hardship just like the mother or anyone else in life can. S*** happens to everyone in life. I have paid on time for my child support for the first 11 years of my girls life. Even when her mother illegally moved out of state. When the country went through its depression i felt it to by being laid off on two occasions and in return putting me in the arrear. I am back on my feet now and been back to paying on time for the last two years. Now i find myself on the restrictions list where i can't get passport, licence suspended. My daughter just turned 15 on 11/28 so 13 years of her life i been a on time paying dad and i took her to child support. The laws are geared to destroy us men. I modified and they raised it when i get paid less and she makes more really don't get it. I want to be off but need answers i can't afford the two thousand child support request of me. Child support should only be considered if the father is NOT! doing absolutely nothing to provide for the child or children. And NOT for a revenge method for women to trap a man in the system damaging his character. Being behind on child support can be tremendously stressful on a man. If you see everything that can be taking away or suspended is basically a man's way of making a living. (Example) if he loses his job that require him to have a driver's license. And have his license suspended due to back child support it will be difficult for him to get a job. I truly believe that the laws are typically in women's favor. Were no longer in 1930's when women stay home and not work. Women these day using the system to collect free money while struggling working men is basically scrapping by just to pay bills. Child support should be investigated and counseled on the reasons why the father should be put on child support. Not on blind assumptions on what one parent say.As for custodial and non-custodial parent is unfair in its self both parents should be primary custodial parents. In closing in order for women to receive ANY government assistant women should be REQUIRED to WORK a part-time job and go to school to further their education. Im apart of my son's life and have to deal with the high cost of living in Colorado, not to mention child support. I have one kid and currently pay 770$ a month. Because I have gotten behind due to medical expenses and having to get a new vehicle. I owe 1995$ in arrears but the county I live in has added a 20% increase to my monthly responsibility until i completely pay off my arrears.So now I am to pay 924$ a month. Wonderful that makes sense right!? Hey buddy pay more on a total you couldn't afford before. I now live in a 2 bedroom apt with my gf who works a part time job with a 6 yr old daughter and my three year old son. I can't afford anything extra sometimes I have to have my parents pick up my son during my visitation because I don't have enough food to eat in my household. On the other side of the fence my baby's mama is married and they both are employed full time at a bank and reside with two other roomates in a house with just my kid. NO ONE IS STRUGGLING OVER THERE...WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE MONEY WHO DOESN'T NEED IT. I'VE BEEN TO COURT TWICE AND FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL JUST TO BE IN MY SON'S LIFE...WHY PUNISH A MAN THAT WANTS TO BE IN HIS CHILD'S LIFE.. child support is unconstitutional and I seriously shouldn't have to pay it.REPORT COMMENTS

Child support should not be used on rent, electric, gas bill, cable, groceries, or car payments. This is absurd! The non-custodial parent also has to provide these things so the children can have a place to come to. I believe these things should be at the expense of the custodial parent. The custodial parent should have to pay for their personal things themselves. Child support payments should be used for things like cloting for the kids, shoes for the kids, medical expenses for the kids, things associated with school. Another thing that is absurd, a non custodial parent having to pay child support during extended summer months while he/she has the children. What is the point? To pay our ex's bills and vacation expenses! If I were to ask my ex for money during these months he would laugh at me and tell me he's not giving me a dime even though it is needed for the kids! The kids' best interests are not in mind when it comes to child support. After all, would we be spending nearly as much on our children if we were still married? The reality is probably not. Let's not forget that it can be wasted on extra-curricular activities. I'm sorry, but I grew up not able to play sports and do things because my parents didn't have the funds and I turned out just fine. My kids have to be told no when they want to do these things while they are with me because I don't have the funds, but he is able to loook like "the good guy" and get the praise from the kids because he can use the money on their wants instead of their needs. This results in my kids never saying thank you to me and never showing any gratitude towards my new husband and I for what we provide for them. In the mean time, I get to hear from my kids, "Daddy works so hard to make money for us." This makes me cringe because I know it is not true. Let's not forget the fact that he is receiving my son's SSI check on top of this and doesn't have to count it as income.REPORT COMMENTS
