Omg the child support system targets the men like its just their responsibility to take care of the child. My daughter dad is ordered to pay $237 a month. I have never received the full amount. I i may get almost 40 a month from him in which he will always b behind. I feel that a man who gives the child his last name should not have to carry more than the mother. He acknowledges that hes the father. Without man a woman wouldnt even carry a child. I dont sit home n wait. I go to school. I feel that a man should b entitled to the same thing as women. Shared custody should b an option before a child support order. I mean come on u have men who have been in their kids lives and even taken pictures together while the dads have kids and never signed the birth certificate not even acknowledging that they have a child and getting foodstamps while FATHERS are being ripped and torn apart. I live n government housing flat rate. Some men r taken for granted. My daughter carries my last name. My son father and I share parental responsibilities. If both parents were in a relationship they both should have a say so. Now if a child was conceived without being in a relationship thats another story. If i lied on the financial affidavit her dads payments probably would b higher. And then FATHERS are ordered to pay for a child thats miles away. Women have to much to say and gets away with toooooo much. I wish that the FATHERS had more rights. Fathers are actually paying for another dads foodstamps. A father cant get stamps but a dad can. The amount issued for certain children is going against the saying that " all children are to b treated equally". Because one mans income is higher the next who works at a car wash pays less. Im against the child support when women are perty n wanna enforce it when they separate. And then while the men are living with em they break up the back pay is to extreme as if the fathef was never in the house. Lets go MEN. Hell some women still sitting home having kids while wat u paying cud b used to support kids thats not even urs.REPORT COMMENTS

My husband is paying on one child from a previous relationship. He is now 7000 behind due to them putting him in jail on account of being 3 weeks behind!! They expect him to have the whole back payment in full every time he appears in court. Of course he doesnt because he is the soul provider for our 4 other children. His sons mother owns her home, drives 3 luxury vehicles, makes good money, and doesnt hurt for nothing. All my husbands money goes on her different lay for the night while his son receives nothing!!!! Mean while we are currently living in a motel room because we cant afford a real home because the state takes all our money!!! Its ridiculous!!! He hasnt even seen his son in 2 years though we live in the same town as him. He has a court order for visitation but its never enforced! We have called the cops when we try to go get him for visitation and they say there is nothing they can do about it. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!! My daughters mother lives in public housing (no rent), gets food stamps, has an under the table job. She has bin doing this for 5 years now. She never reports her earnings, always claims she doesn't work. Not only is she playing domestics she is playing welfare and public housing. Meanwhile I pay 600.00 a month for one child. I can't even talk to my daughter on the phone let alone see her. My support order was made when I was getting overtime at my job, which stopped. But I still have to pay as if I am getting the same amount of money. Just recently I changed jobs and moved out of state. Now child support wants me to go to non compliance court because I missed two payments. Which only happened because of the change in my job. I notified support of my new job and they take the money out every two weeks. But I am listed as non complaint because of two missed payments. I just want to know who forces my daughters mother to work and prove she is providing for my daughter?? Child support is one sided!! I miss two payments and they want me to go to jail. But she don't work and plays the system for five years and nothing is done to her. Isn't the symbol for lady justice holding a scale. Well when it comes to child support the scale is definitely tilted to only one direction. Please if anybody who is anybody reads this, HELP CHANGE THE LAW!! There are hard working parents getting screwed! I must say I feel like there is no one in our corner. Making our voices heard.REPORT COMMENTS

I've paid my ex over $110,000 over the last 14 years, TAX FREE. She's sold the marital home when we were divorced for a hefty profit which I was not given my share- I should have rec'd $45k! I send her over $1200 / month for 1 (ONE) child in NY and you think she would have an abundance of money available for her to get a car, have money for college? Not a chance. I'm a working father who pays 418 a month in Pennsylvania and I only make 12.00 and hour and I also pay another 144 in north Carolina for rears and I also have a family at home to support ,the mother receiving 418 a month has never worked even when we were married she didn't work ,but why would she the government gives her food stamps ,medicaid, cell phone, and diffrent benifits ,that hard working folks can't get, and there's nothing wrong with her ,if this country would make everybody pay their own way then maybe we wouldn't be in debt , it's unfair and should be stopped immediately. This nation is not looking at what is best for our children, simple put child support is for the children both parent are equally responsible for the children they make. Child support is to raise the standard of living of the children as if the parents where still together. The system is in place to make make sure the payments are made as it should be and the formulas are there but now we must protect the children from parents that use this a tool to escape their responsibilities. We have to enforce a system that looks after that income and uses it in the best interests of the child (IE not paying rent or buying food keeping the lights on) This is the parents responsibilities if you can't provide a life for your child with out taking from the other there is a serious problem with that parent and they need to address it before being involved in the child's life. We need accountability for the parents that do get CS and much like welfare if you hold the people getting it accountable they are far less likely to abuse or misuse it.REPORT COMMENTS

I am very disappointed in this Country USA... I am owing child support I should not be owing. The female I was with over 12 years ago still gets welfare for 2 kids I think are mine still .getting that cleared up. She never wanted to get off her*****and help support the family. She now has 9 or 10 kids that are by different men. I am with a wonderful women who has been here through everything for 12 years. She has seen it all with my ex. It affects my family now. My license was suspended 2014 because I stopped getting unemployment I could not make no payments. This was the first time they suspended my license. I have always paid support back to the state for her collecting Welfare cause she never wanted to work. I've calculated $20,000 or more I've paid and the amount stays the same. It's a trick,nightmare, the law needs to change. How can you expect support when you take a person's license to drive to get to work,or threaten to in prison them. That does the child or me no good. I think the law needs to change with child support going after your current spouse for support because they married you. My new spouse should not be burdened with my previous relationship. That is real ********,Change the fact that the interest is their. That will not make a person pay any faster.All Support laws need to be evaluated and modified. Arrears, and license suspension,attacking the mans whole since or worth needs to be thrown out. Start over with these laws PLEASE!!!. How can a person survive at all when you owe stupid amount for one or two kids that you been supporting. I think if the mother is on welfare she should help the father pay any cash aid she was on with the kids or kid back period.... I know of men who have gone homeless behind child support. Yeah and they mess up your credit like your not paying child support. The laws just **** up your life period. They have no care for the current spouse or children you help support. I don't think they should be able to touch your disability checks or SSI,or retirement. The mother needs to be held more accountable when it comes to support especially if she has many kids by different people WTF. I mean when the the father orIF ...your the father in my case get a chance to breathe and live. Im sorry my Wife and kids now are in this crazy mix.REPORT COMMENTS

Child support is rediculous as is the dhs system. Twice my ex has been busted for drugs yet dhs says she is a great mother and then up my child support for caring and wanting custody. All the greedy lazy women today need to grow up get jobs and support there kids not there "habits" with the mans child support ! As for the ones who pop out kid after kid yet live off the government. Take away there money force them to get jobs and America would be so much better off financially than if we continue to give give give. I personally think the man should not have to pay a crazy amount of child support just cause he has a good job and the mother doesn't wanna work or if does its only couple house a week. The law needs to be change. Mothers eating off the father who pays for the majority of his children's things needs a break. Stop giving these lazy women all their ex husbands money. She wanted those children as well. She needs to participate more of her income to those children besides taking all the fathers money. My husband is paying cs for 2 kids before him & I got married. We have 2 kids of our own. My husband works a 40+job as do I. After everything is said and done and cs taken out my husband brings home $120.that's not enough to live on at all. I'm on gov.assistance and work 40+ hours Just to cover my basics & to make sure our kids have diapers and cloths (goodwill, can't afford new like the ex girl friend can) the ex once she found out she was pregnant with the first child which is NOT biologically my husband's she stopped working. Then the year after she had the first she got pregnant with the second. Both kids are 6&7 and go to school. The ex girlfriend has no job and chooses not to work even though she's capable. I don't find it fair that she gets to sit on her butt and wait for cs checks.I feel that it takes 2 to make a baby it should take 2 to be financially responsible for them. My husband and I NEVER see each other cause we work our butts off Just so his ex girlfriend can do nothing. The laws need to change.REPORT COMMENTS

It really makes me angry, I was a single mom, and I actually told the judge i didn't need the amount of money they wanted to take from his dad and wanted the amount lowered. I did that because I knew what he earned and what he paid for rent and bills. No way he could of done it. He would of been homeless in a year, then what? What kind of dad would he have been? How could he spend any quality time with our son being homeless, which eventually would have cost him his job, and so on.......I had a job, so i wanted it to be fair and reasonable. These females need to stop being greedy and stop acting like everyone owes them something, child support is suppose to HELP you care for your children, not COMPLETELY take care of them so you don't have to. Grow up females. Maybe if you stopped being greedy and used your head, you would realize how much better life would be for the kids, AND you. As far as our lawmakers go maybe more men would PAY child support if they were not AFRAID of loosing everything they have or could have because of a greedy unsympathetic system. Think about it!!!! Also if these welfare gettin hood rats that pop a kid out every year just for the money, they need to be punished for lying to guys about being the dad and collecting support from the guy and a welfare check!!!! One or the other, since most of them get more from child support than welfare. What is wrong with you lawmakers? Are you that oblivious? You have got to be smarter than that.....dont you? There is absolutely no sane argument you can make that would make it right that a welfare gettin single female is living better than the man with a job! To top it all off, they get all that money every month and then get to file taxes on it at the end of the year and get 7 grand or more for a return!!! That is ********! They DON'T EARN THE MONEY TO BEGIN WITH!!! WHERE IS THE JUSTICE IN THAT!!!! No wonder men dont wanna pay, I wouldn't either! Give me a break, its just straight up SAD! Please, someone change the way things are and make it fair, and let them be the dads they want to be but no longer have the means to do it. Not only are you taking their money, but also their pride, their dignity, any authority and respect from their children and manhood, and your giving that to these females too!
