I have an ex wife who had/has a prescription drug abuse problem. While you can't prove that (very hard), we did prove enough that I now have physical custody of our six year old son. While I have moved on now that the divorce is final, she continues to file OP's as well as lie about false charges against me. All of these have been dropped and in one case, the State's Attorney had the information that she had typed extra sentences on her own in an email from me (I had the originals on my computer). They still did nothing but drop the charges. Two days ago, she has filed another false OP. I tried to get an OP once against her stating that she was using the system to harrass me, and the judge pretty much threw it out. The problem becomes they can't tell her to not call the police or not to file an OP if she's in real danger. But in the classic 'the boy who cried wolf case', she hasn't told one ounce of truth yet and shows no signs of letting up. In typical addict fashion, she bears no responsibility for her actions and the system (both courts and unfortunately churches that are easily manipulated) cannot do anything about someone so willing to lie. We are on our fourth OP, one charge of domestic abuse (dropped) and our second DCFS claim against us. We just want to be able to move on, but she cannot due to her own guilt and grief.REPORT COMMENTS

My ex-wife filed false pfas and kidnapped my son. The PFAs were thrown out. Relocation was denied, but custody is still outstanding for 6 mths.I have since lost my home, had to file bankruptcy and still denied regular meaningful contact with our son. My brother was stabbed by a woman and she is able to obtain a falseified restraining order. She now keeps having him arrested on violating the restraining order (that were not true she made it up). Each time he has to spend 48 hrs. in jail, he finally was able get in front of the Judge that issued the restraining order for a clarification and guess what THE JUDGE DID SAY THAT SHE COULD NOT HAVE HIM ARRESTED for what she had. The laws in Colorado need to be changed! A man falsely accused of a domestic crime can spend life in prison, and the person making the accusations DOES NOT HAVE TO PROVE A THING!! my girlfriend attacked me in an arguement, then she followed me into our bedroom and I spanked her, she didnt say stop, no dont and was the type of girl that asked me to spank her before, her only request was I put more of a smak into it. I was arrested and hoped the charges would be dropped, but she hasnt done anything to help me out like call the state and ask them to drop the charges. She's hit me before and our relationship was bad for along time, she was always breakingup with me. I was going through a divorce process with my wife. She was highly unstable and attempted suicide. After her action, Ifiled for custody of my children and was awarded temp custody. To give herself the upper hand she filed a false report in 2 different states. She was able to get a friend of hers and also her new husband to come in and testify against me and the judge found me guilty w/o evidence. The system is sexist and unfair to men!REPORT COMMENTS
