My son is in jail because he doesn't want to be with his baby mama anymore, he was 16yrs old and a 22 yr old woman bought him things and started a sexual relationship with him. My wife and had told her she was too old for him and too leave him alone. She ended up pregnant a month after they met. 2 yrs later, he has been charged with 2 dv cases and is in jail on a 3rd. The bad part is that she is the abuser and has gotten away with it all. The City Attorney has called my son a thug, the judge refuses to listen and the police refuse to listen. We were not aloud to bring charges forth for her sleeping with my underage son, now that he has put his foot down and does not want to have a relationship with her--she is now making false police reports and telling COMPLETE LIES OF ABUSE--SHE IS GETTING AWAY WITH IT!!!. When we have tried to defend ourselves by speaking out, our justice system has totally ignored us and has treated us unfairly and slandered my son and our family. we need statutory charges for any minor under 18yrs old and we need to stop arresting men just because a woman claims these accusations without finding out both sides. We are wasting taxpayer money and putting innocent people's lives through hell because of vengeance. Women are abused and when it is legit, the laws work, but there are too many men and women filing false claims. Something needs to be done and fast!!!!! -

We have to get both sides of the situation before an arrest is made, some women don't want to see the man move on in life and will lie to put him behind bars. These women need to be punished and charged with giving false police reports to put men behind bars. Woman are abusers as well and use their gender to lie and put men into bad situations. I am a woman and have been abused --the system needs to be fair though, we need equal rights and more laws with mutual combat when the woman is the problem and the aggressor.REPORT COMMENTS

I have seen far too many cases of women abusing this system. This whole BS about the "weaker sex" needs to die. My ex kidnapped my son and took him to Illinois where she filed false claims of domestic violence against me and they issued her a temporary injunction. The thing is, here in florida i was doing the same thing against her because i didn't even know she had left the state! she filed hers first, however, even though there was never any abuse... She gets to kidnap my son, keep him from me, and is aloud to file false alligations against me when I was the victim. I even have a police report here in Florida from just days before she left that proves she was abusive towards me. The officers told ME I could file an injuction against HER and SHE files one against ME in illinois. I've practiced family law for 8 years. The majority of allegations I challenged proved to be unfounded. This didn't stop the courts from ruining families and the lives of fathers. No woman or man should be subject to assault, or emotional abuse. However the prevention of this should not trample on parental rights, or create the perception and bias by which men are routinely discriminated against without just cause. In DV cases, both parties should be mandated to undergo counseling and dispute resolution training. I got a letter today from the State of California notifying me that even though allegations of child abuse by my vindictive ex-wife were found to be unfounded, my name is going on on the DOJ Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) anyway. Two of my three sons have been the victims of false allegations of domestic violence so that the woman could gain the upper hand in their custody and divorce cases. There was no DV incidents, no medical records, no police reports, and no witnesses; the courts need to require clear, convincing, tangible evidence that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that DV did occur. There are true victims of abuse but too often these laws are being used as weapons of mass destruction to gain tactical advantage in divorce and/or custody cases and that ruins the lives of innocent people, their children and their families. Misuse of the Domestic Violence Court Systems under Domestic Violence, destroys the essence that it was originally established for, and when does domestic violence courts in florida have Jurisdiction over what can and cannot be put on the internet, and order removal of information from the internet, when the Defendant lived over 2000 miles away from the plaintiff. I've spent the last 18-months going through a divorce and spending every penny I could to defend myself and to try to see my children. I gave my ex all of our marital assists, including more than $50k in the bank, all of my 401k account, two businesses, profitable and sold at a profit, cars, a family home valued at over $350k... virtually everything. I agreed to pay an unbelievable amount of child support, 85% of their costs... while, she filed a protective order, added our two minor children, and prevented me for seeing\communicating with my 9 and 10 year old sons for 6-months (the protective order was for 2-years) I went through supervised counseling, was told by professionals I didn't need anger management (it was obvious to the case workers), spent thousands just to spend an hour in a room with my kids twice a month.... have been in civil (family) court and criminal court multiple times- have paid upwards to $35k in attorney fees (still paying)... I even tried to plead guilty to something i didn't do just to end it - the judge wouldn't make a ruling, asked for a "probation officer report" the probation officer recommended the court allow me to plea, (to something I didn't do), I have no criminal record whatsoever, am one of our countries highest decorated war veterans, the Family Violence Victims Group pressured the judge and the prosecuting attorney and I wasn't even allowed to do plea... I'm now going to a jury trial..paying another $10k in attorney fees... the prosecuting attorney actual led called my ex-wife a blatnt liar to the judge in a pre-trial hearing... still no one stops her and there's no recourse... I've been virtually unemployable working as a contractor, can't get a secure job, can't get a home, have accumulated enormous debt... and have lost my two sons... true story - it happens right here in America, right now, today.REPORT COMMENTS

I have a friend who has lost everything he owns and has worked for all his life because of a lying female. He had to live in a shed with a dirt floor until he could afford a not so decent place to live. She even has his mothers china (the only thing he had from his childhood). He can't go anywhere near his own property, Can't even get his tools he needs for his work and livelyhood. He has never exhibited any violence toward her or anyone else. She didn't have any possessions at all when they were married and lied about having children she had and said she didn't have. His case was just heard in Jacksonville, NC and it seems the judges turn a deaf ear to the mans side even if he gets to speak. Was hopeing for a female judge but got a male because women can see through a viscous, manipulative, vindictive woman where as she can pull the wool over a mans eyes. I would think if a man was capable of violence then losing all his belongings would cause him to exhibit those tendencies.REPORT COMMENTS
