This is really sad that the H4 are targeted. The system has been so unfair to H4 visa holders . H1b and H4 visa holders spend so many years waiting for green card - min 15 years. And spouse cannot even work . Where as L1A gets their green card so fast . And their spouse can even work. What’s the difference between 2 ? L1A have worked with the same company 1 year outside United States. H1 visa holders - study in United States have more skills and experience than L1A and even have stayed more years in United States . Still they suffer. Please don’t make already suffering suffer more. The fraud companies want the government attention on weaker people so they can continue doing what they do. And do more fraud and get more illegals/ fraud in. Please don’t make good people - H4 spouse suffer again -

Like EB3 can move their green card files to EB2 category after few years of experience why EB2 can't move their green card files to EB1 category. Also It is unfair for H1 people who has done their master and still waiting for green card while L1 people can just come and apply for green card and get green card within a year. Also L1's spouses can work and get EAD. So why to stop H1's spouse EADs?REPORT COMMENTS

This is a blatant misuse of a government program and an open loophole for years now.Trump administration should focus on fixing loopholes and not closing something useful for the US like H4 EAD's.Only if they had proper staff at the highest levels to ensure proper policy making and not propaganda like 'Buy american Hire american'REPORT COMMENTS

Completely agree with the above. EB1 get green card within one year and EB2 who have stayed here longer and are in higher posts have to wait for over 10 years which is so unfair. More over when spouses of L1 visa can work then why discrimination for spouses of H1B ? Justice has to be done and target all of them not just one bunch of people. Very unfair.REPORT COMMENTS

This is unfair for H1b spouses on H4 visa, especially when they have an approved I-140. There is no clarity and assurance in terms of how many years it will take for the some one from Indian origin to get a green-card, so this is a lifeline that most families. Also, all other dependents in different categories are allowed to work, then why nor H4. And if the economy is going to grow at 3-4 % as claimed by the new administration, then would they not need more qualified candidates living in United States to fill those jobs then bringing them from other outside, or worse companies might outsource those jobs and the US economy might not receive any benefit.REPORT COMMENTS

I totally agree with this petition. EB1 C should have strict requirements in terms of Degree and more years of experience. Also, organizations filing EB1 C should prove how beneficiary is impacting their business (in terms of revenues or number of employees manage). Please stop this rule or make it strict.REPORT COMMENTS

There are several thousands of Senior Resources who have done their masters in US and waiting for GC in EB2, while there is an abuse going on with EB1 C where the candidates do not even have basic skill sets either with technology or soft skills. Please stop this rule, and help the real talent!REPORT COMMENTS

90% of the eb1 manages who got GC are not even fit to apply for eb3 category. This is is big big loophole. Many are not even engineers. USCIS has strict rule for EB1A/ Eb2/EB3, but free GC for EB1-C. USCIS should revoke all the the GC awarded to EB1-C category in last 6 years.REPORT COMMENTS
