I have never in all my years seen anything so bias and unfair. Major reform is needed ASAP. It's 2015 things have changed and so has society. The old laws no longer meet changing parenting needs or situations. Dads are one of the only groups without equal rights now days. Stop the discrimination.REPORT COMMENTS

Court costs and attorney fees should only be paid by those that inquire them. Father pays his cost and mother pays hers. Equal time for sure, violation in result of losing custody. Perjury MUST be enforced!!! Any allegations must have proof just like in criminal cases.REPORT COMMENTS

Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996. This is what turned the entire system to an extortion racket that deserves nothing less that the largest Rico case that the world has ever known. A 50 billion+ dollar a year profit margin inspires the "MORALITY" of the court system to ensure the "well-being of the child". For every dollar that is taken for child support enforcement and collection, a percentage is put into a slush fund that can be spent in anyway the state deems necessary. Converting every responsible non-custodial parent, with a means of gainful employment, from a productive member of society into nothing more than a monetary generator. An even more foreboding turn of events waits for the non-custodial parent that cannot keep up with the pace of the financial "obligation" increase. The non-custodial parent no longer is allowed freedom. Is sent to prison, which most of them are privatized, so still a piece of a profit margin. This system is a death sentence to anyone it is aimed at.REPORT COMMENTS

I think whomever pays the support should get a tax credit for it as well. Why is it any different that having custody and having a tax credit for the child/ren. You're helping support the child and add the time the child/ren is with you? that's coslty!?REPORT COMMENTS
