both parents should have equal rights to the child. ,children are taken by force from the father who has done nothing wrong in most cases and then ordered to pay , and also not allowed to participate in the childs life . money is not a substitute for child support. spending time with your child is.all to often children are used as weapons to aggravate the non custodial parent

The current system is modern day slavery. This must be changed immediately.

The mothers have no accountability on the distribution of the child support funds, but I have every aspect of my personal and business life subpoenaed on a regular basis.

I strongly agree with your recommendations and would be in favor of a cap on child support. I'm an involved, dedicated father, living in Illinois and am required to pay +$3,000 a month in child support (not maintenance, child support) which far exceeds the needs of my 2 children. My ex remarried, voluntarily quit working and I believe she uses this money to subsidize her lifestyle. I cannot use these funds for the children and their mother simply lavishes this child support on herself. Unfortunately the loser in all of this is the children. These terrible laws needs to be revised!

Yes - this is completely unfair. In Montana - they don't even consider changing child support until your actual amount of days you have your children is over a certain amount.

In Pa. a mother can sleep around and even if the child is not yours, it your responsibility to pay. A mother can leave her children for 3 yrs. come back and ruin your life by getting custody, even at 50/50 and you pay. A mother can brag about using the money to pay for her wedding, buy a boat, and pay for what ever schooling she wants to do on a whim and you pay. She can stop and start child support. She can keep taking you back into court because she wants to make you pay more for spite and braggs and the judge doesn't care. You can have other children and they do NOT count. Mothers income doesn't count.

It is time for a change sum mothers or intentionally oppressing the father thru childsupport and the family court. The mother can report her income to childsupport enforcement and report a false income and childsupport will still proceed its not fair.Father is left with option of getting a 2nd job that should be use as parenting time

Dont forget about time shared as we have 14hours less per month and we just got slapped to pay her $700 more per month. Why should the ex who has grown in his career 12 years after they divorced be punished that he makes more? how about the time of the divorce where their incomes were?

I don't see where it is fair that the support payee gets absolutely no tax break for the money paid yet the recipient doesn't need to claim that money as income.
