my son lives with me half the time. we both make thriving wages. the court told me to pay 600 a month. I'm afraid of my son and I losing our home or getting thrown in prison and losing everything if I'm late on a payment. if I pay this much she'll have more income than me while I spend more on him. please help us.

Hello, I am seeking advice, assistance, and resources in addressing the civil rights violations, injustices, and problems I have had to endure. False allegations, abuse of process and gender discrimination in domestic violence/divorce has ripped my family apart causing much damage and loss. My family and I were working though some of the hardest times I had ever experienced in my life and agencies and organizations funded to help families got involved and contributed to the fall of a good and loving family. I am not only dealing with the pain of divorce and missing my kids. I was grieving the loss of my mother to cancer and coping with many stressful life circumstances when false allegations and a restraining order against me resulting in incarceration. The injustices and problems has caused me to lose my family, home, vehicle, retirement accounts, financial resources, next to everything I have worked for and toward in my life. I am at such a loss and completely disgusted how the systems and organizations funded to help families and people are doing the total opposite. I have experienced first hand the damage and problems these systems and organizations allowed and contribute to. I was, prior to these allegations, a hardworking responsible tax paying citizen, husband, father, and homeowner. Now I am next to homeless facing bankruptcy, foreclosure, child support, years of un filed taxes, etc. etc. the list goes on and on. I was force out of my life, and the life of my three children, nine months after losing my mom to cancer, four months after adopting my oldest son, my wife?s (now ex-wife?s) first born, along with other various stressful situations going on. It eats at me everyday haven?t seen or had contact with THE CHILDREN I LOVE SO VERY MUCH since 2011 along with losing everything I had worked toward and for in my life. I am working toward heal and get back on my feet from being beat dead by the exploitation, injustices, and problems allowed and contributed by our wonderful "justice system" before being labeled a deadbeat dad. I have contacted various people in many areas of these problems from local representatives to the president of the US and nothing! They don't care! The "system" agencies and organizations draw too much funding and WE THE PEOPLE (Families, Men, Women, and Children) are being Exploited! $adly many people allow, add, and contribute to it, just doing there job; knowing these things are ruining families, lives, and society as a whole. I really would like to contribute to helping address and correct these issues and problems. Any advice, assistance, or resources you can provide will be greatly appreciated. PUBLISHED ON: Sun March 15, 2009 LOSS OF GRAMD MA YOKO PUBLISHED ON: FRI NOVEMBER 12, 2010 LOSS OF MOM Thank you, Justin Pellerin My petition was blocked and taken down but these ones are running and stated well! http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/false-allegations-and.fb58?

As a father, I can barely afford rent and utilities because of having to pay child support. The recipient of the child support makes 40000 a year and has a 2 story house. This is ridiculous.

I agree child support should be for the kids things only not for the mothers to spend how ever they want to. And another law they should do is have it count as income, I mean they count disability as income and depending on the disability ya don't even have to pay taxes on it but judges count it as income. So child support mothers don't have to pay taxes on it, but they count it as income and have to add it they wouldn't ask for $$$$$$ cause than they would lose state freebies and hurt them at tax time

Dear Child Support Law Makers: I am a divorced FIT father of a boy (from marriage) and a girl (unwed bio-dad). I have no problem paying child support as proven by my payment records. That is until the Miami-Dade County 11th Judicial Circuit Family Court destroyed my life when I did the right thing and Petitioned for Paternity and Right to Parent my daughter in case no. 2008-029595 on December 4th, 2008. Answer this simple question: Why does the Broward County 17th Judicial Circuit Family Court have absolutely no concern (nor does mom), since 2002 to today, to be in my son's life with joint custody? Thereby establishing my parental fitness. And the 11th Jud Cir Family Court denies any access (visitation) with me, my son (her brother), my family to my daughter?? Please help me, DMI - Hialeah, FL 33012

JOIN FREE: Federal Class Action for U.S. Child Custody Victims - Friends, I just joined CAPRA as one of the lead plaintiffs in an upcoming landmark federal class action lawsuit against all 50 States and the Federal Government, because I qualify as: (1) a biological parent whose child custody was unconstitutionally removed without due process; and, (2) I have been directly impacted by that during the last four years, i.e., within the statute of limitations. This class action is on behalf of *both* types of "family court" -- for wrongful victims of divorce-and-similar-with-kids *and* for wrongful victims of child protection services -- and includes suing on behalf of ANY parent affected by either "family court" type. It's totally free to join, and the federal court relief being demanded includes the full restoral of my child custody rights under law, plus a nice share of the large amount in civil damages expected. Check it out! It just requires entering someone's referral Code to join, so PLEASE use mine - 42085JL619 - in the CAPRA registration form, located on the bottom of the homepage at http://parentalrightsclassaction.com Plus, check out their power-packed Legal Tips page for all parents fighting family court, too -- Wow!! Thanks!!

I just got divorced in October 2015. I am a union worker that makes a good wage. I love my son more than anything in the world. I have been there for him for everything. I have coached him in sports his whole life. He is 9. While going through the divorce process all I kept hearing from my ex was I want primary custody (and my 20% which was the underlying issue). It's very frustrating for me to deal with this court ordered unfairness. I believe the 20% of my income is a little much for raising a child. It sure wasn't costing me that amount while we were together. Another point I think needs addressing if I decide to work over forty hours a week that should not be touched by the ex. This system wants everyone to go out and work, well when you have laws like this it makes the ones which are effected from them not want to work. This system is broken. I feel totally discriminated against because I'm a man. I'm tired of hearing "she had to carry the baby", and "she has a special bond with the child". Well huh I have a special bond with my child too. There needs to be change. Since last October I have paid over $4000 in support. That is roughly 5 months. So around $800 a month. That is $300 more than my house payment. I mean seriously she could be using that money to buy a much nicer home than I have, car or whatever. If this money were somehow regulated to only be used for my son it would be a little more settling. It is not. The mother gets to spend it however she chooses and by court order I'm not allowed to speak of it. Meanwhile I get to see my son in the same ole clothes, watch his hair grow too long, see his shoes fitting too tight, his pants growing shorter, his school lunch packed with a rotten apple, and if I ask for any contribution towards a sport forget it. That is all up to me as well. My ex and I get along just fine as long as the support keeps rolling in. Why am I expected to go out and bust my*****day in day out. Just to hand her 20% of it to do as she pleases. I feel that if this law were addressed there would be many great Father's across not only Illinois but the rest of the States as well that would be more willing to go out there and strive for a better job, more schooling and a better life in general. The way it is now we have no hope or desire to put the effort in. For what watch the ex cruise away with your child in a new car, with all new clothes, a new hair do, her boyfriend sitting in the passenger seat, and your son in the back with his long hair, too small clothes and shoes inhaling the cigarette smoke from the two morons in the front seat. WAKE UP LEGISLATION!!!

I am marrying a wonderful, loving, and dedicated father of two. He currently pays over $2,500.00 a month in child support. It breaks my heart to see the money go towards his ex-wife's current lifestyle and not the children. Tanning beds, nail salons, new clothes, trips, gym membership. Even more he is constantly harassed for paycheck stubs so she can see how much overtime he works to make sure she gets her share. He works like a slave to pay her child support while she sits at home playing angry birds and candy crush. Did I mention they are divorced because she had a 3 year affair? The current system is criminal.

The child support system is a disgrace and disaster yet judges are allowed to impose their will and fathers at will with no regard to a fathers financial situation and I pay my support yet still get drove into poverty and can barely support my family it's time for real change its time for the child support system to stop imposing ungodly amounts of money per week and wonder why some dad's can't pay it because they won't be able to live

I think it's time for the courts to take more into account than just a person's net pay. I think they need to consider ALL party's well-being, to include the children's as well. Debt should be considered in the equation too. There has to be a way to balance this out so a person isn't running themselves into the ground to support kids that they barely see.
