My child's mother has been absent for 9 years.. Drugs, jail. homeless . With State assistance she has,a nicer home than me, a brand new phone, can smoke her cigarettes and get free drugs prescribed by her State counselors. .needs no Drivers license or car to get around owes $12000 in back child support.. quit last job so her disability lawyer could fight b for her disability claim. That by the way can't be touched for back child support. The State should call it office of neglecting patent support. ... please make dead beat mom's accountable for there growing children's future....

We have 50/50 custody. Ive been ordered to pay her child support because she has worked at her job for over 10 years and has refused every raise and promotion they have offered her, just so she stays just above the poverty line. On top of the child support, I pay for the martial arts classes, all of the school expenditures, and other extraordinary expenditures. All because I have worked my*****off to get to the point I am now in my career. My view is that if I have 50% custody, I shouldnt have to pay anything to her because I have a household to run of my own.

I've paid child support for 4 years for my 2 daughters. We have 50/50 custody of the children and I can barely make my payments and she sits at home and babysits for a living claiming she only makes minimum wage but pays a mortgage and home expenses yet there's no investigation into the mothers that pillage the system.

I am being unnecessarily bankrupt by the child support agency! It is way over what it needs to be. My caseworker has it out for me. My ex has her working for her. My efforts to get this fixed have been cut off because I financially cannot afford a lawyer. I make $14/hr but I only get $82 every two weeks after support. My marriage is in jeopardy due to our poor credit. I can't even help my wife pay rent. And my ex has turned my kids against me sayin my life is too busy for them. I'm exhausted

We need to have some balance. As of now, the father has NO chance of a life after child support. All he is able to do is work to pay an ex-wife. There is nothing left for him or his new life. The courts allow this! I want to help change the status quo. You can contact me for help in fighting this injustice.

My husband and I have 3 children. We briefly separated for a year and during that time he got another woman pregnant. Now HALF of his income goes to that ONE child, meanwhile my 3 are being robbed. They were here first, how does the system not take that into consideration?? That is ridiculous!!

Child support is rediculous. I already pay for my son without child support being involved. His mother says she is a full time student and receives benefits for child care. Yet she only goes to school 3 days a week. 1 of those days is 8-5 the other 2 are 8- noon. Yet I have to pay for her to do this. It's bull shit. #****edofffather

I pay 100% of insurance? I can not have joint custody because of my work schedule? I must hire attorneys and fight in court to have anything changed? I can not claim either child on my federal taxes in Texas, unless SHE agrees? Child support is a one way, one sided deal in Texas! Signed, loving, caring, broke Dad

It's a shame, my ex has stated openly that she doesn't require child support or even want it. The court doesn't care what the mother wants, the child support was still ordered and it takes a little over half of my income to pay it. It's ridiculous that they dont take into consideration the situation of the parents. I've read stories about how unfair judgements have lead to suicides. it needs to change

I have experienced this first gand. My husband is a good man and father. We where never server paperwork for this child in question. The first we found out about it was when they started taking money out of my husbands check. He then became unemployed right after the fact. I dont make much money and i have had to carry this family and we have tried to reach out to get this taken care of. And we have been unsuccessful it has cist us much heartache and we dont have the means to take care of this and it is spiralling out of control. This may even cause the divorce of us. How sad that their is no help for these good men. The system is set up wrong and needs to be changed fast!!!!

JOIN FREE: Federal Class Action for U.S. Child Custody Victims - Friends, I just joined CAPRA as one of the lead plaintiffs in an upcoming landmark federal class action lawsuit against all 50 States and the Federal Government, because I qualify as: (1) a biological parent whose child custody was unconstitutionally removed without due process; and, (2) I have been directly impacted by that during the last four years, i.e., within the statute of limitations. This class action is on behalf of *both* types of "family court" -- for wrongful victims of divorce-and-similar-with-kids *and* for wrongful victims of child protection services -- and includes suing on behalf of ANY parent affected by either "family court" type. It's totally free to join, and the federal court relief being demanded includes the full restoral of my child custody rights under law, plus a nice share of the large amount in civil damages expected. Check it out! It just requires entering someone's referral Code to join, so PLEASE use mine - 42085JL619 - in the CAPRA registration form, located on the bottom of the homepage at http://parentalrightsclassaction.com Plus, check out their power-packed Legal Tips page for all parents fighting family court, too -- Wow!! Thanks!!

The biggest problem is allowing mothers to live off of child support, food stamps, public housing while the father has to pay hundreds or thousands in support plus carry both medical and dental while the mother doesn't have to work. This allows mothers to continue having multiple children they can't care for, but the father can't have another family because he is responsible for almost all of his child's well being. States make fathers pay health ins at ridiculous rates when the kids are on medicaid or gov't healthcare because mom doesn't work, ins just sits there and doesn't get used because mom can't pay for a co pay. More responsibility needs to be put on the non contributing parent which is usually the one making a lifestyle out of collecting welfare. If a father is paying child support, health, dental etc while the mom sits on her rump then dad should have custody. Be fair and stop favoring one parent more while robbing the other. Non custodial parent deserves credit off child support payment for the overnights child spends with them.

Court issued less time to me because I didnt see my son as much as what the parental agreement said. But they dont look at the fact that raising monthly child support $300 inhibits me to purchase a plane ticket to get him more often. They also completely disregard the fact the mother is a hypocritical, system manipulating, impossible to work with person and will never let me see him when it works with my schedule.Continually has him busy so every time I ask to get him she has "plans". I ask to talk to him every night and she wont respond. I cant make anything better for myself because the banks deny loans because I pay so much in child support. I understand supporting my son I always will but I know having him live with me would not cost the amount I pay.

Been abused by Texas child support laws for 10 years. I can not improve my situation, ever, until the kids are grown. Why do I pay 100% of insurance? Why can't I claim one of my two kids on Federal income taxes? Why can she take me back to court every three years? Why is a divorce decree the only contract modifiable by ONE party???

My Son has been ordered to pay way beyond what he should be because the mother does not work hasn't for a very long time, and when she did is was very partite, how is it fair that the father has to compensate for that. I was a single mother for the duration of my childs life and his father is what anyone would refer to as a deadbeat, therefore it enrages me that a father that loves, cares and takes his child when ever possible is cheated out of his hard earned money because the mother is not willing to work.

The child support conception, per se, is a good thing. And without a doubt, no rightful thinking parent; noncustodial or otherwise, can in their rightful mind, disavow, without pertinent reason, the essence of playing a role in the upbringing of their child. This, apparently, normal upright credence has somehow turned a monster; a menace; and grave travesty that is being used by Child Support Enforcers to destroy well-meaning parents. Enforcers, laced with warped biases, categorize noncustodial parents as plain criminals, irresponsible defaulters irrespective. They corroborate with the justice system to unjustifiable set unmanageable support orders. Then try take all they can from often indigent parents in a hounding fashion. They endowed with a multifarious arsenal of statutory empowerment like income withholdings, liens, denial of public permits, and threats of incarceration that allow them to unduly trample the basic civil right of destitute parents. I have experienced a number of these devilish and wicked strategies out of sheer ignorance, malice, and outright discriminatory outlook. My initial child support order was set at $500 per month while working as assistant professor. Some two years following, I became unemployed, and in the intermittent years, have had no stable employment, with an equivalent income. Yet, all attempts to have the enforcers modify my order according to my means, have gone unheeded. I have tried no less than ten times over the years, via both the judicial and administrative procedures, and have in all instances been denied. In an effort to find permanent employment and change my situation. I sought and found employment abroad. Then, I took my contract of employment together with some pay-advices to court. And still in their unfairness, the enforcers? attorney on deciphering the currency conversion rate to discover that my net income amounted to some $1200 per month, argued vehemently in ignorance that, that could not be. Because, I am a PhD ? and must earn more no matter where ? in my opinion, a blatant refusal to see reality. The order remained unchanged, and continue to accrue arrearage. Child support enforcers have unleashed on me, a host their grievous enforcement strategies, such as withholding some 90% of my net income, placing a lien on funds withdrawn from my pension fund, and made me homeless without a job. All done with no explanation whatsoever, and effectively reduced me to a beggar. As though, having a child, and not having the means to fully provide for the child, tantamount a crime punishable by the harshest punishment (possibly a death sentence).Yet, we live in a, supposedly, mature democracy, with rights to explain oneself and experience justice ? so what, exactly, went wrong?
