As a working father making minimum wage with this tough economy as far as taking my is not the problem the problem is that child support enforcement treats father like trash the other day I text my ex She told me that I'm just a check this the problem that is dad we having dealing with mothers that just want to rip us apart then the court is in her favor it's like dad is a dead beat dad itsnot right child support judge state attorney don't care about if you have a family nothing well I been sleeping in my car 8 month with my family because child support has taken all my money left me with nothing this women is so evil that she came after five years to you have a son if I known this I would taken of child no problem then go to court all a sudden I owe 32000 7000 is because she sue me she a lying no good mother they send her court letter don't respond it crazy because when my child was 2 I ask her who was the father she said he live in New Jersey we I went to court the judge wanted to lock me up this women nothing happen to her then she laughed in court I have all these people telling at me treating me like a dog we need a better reform that these women are taking advantage of us the court state attorneys also I told chil support that I'm fighting cancer. Stark County. What i have seen needs to be addressed. My son has been there ????? so many times for his children. And lawyers and judges and Guardian ad litem. How in Gods name does a woman Ex wife and her parents trying to destroy or even keep him broke with a child and their cell phone. I have spoken to a lot of people and they tell me also its not about the children its about money. How can a man work. Pay all these fees and pay child support when the ex loves to keep destroying the love he has for his kids. They even alienate me as a grandparent so i cannot see them. They tell my grandchildren my side of the family are bad people. I have seen so much. That i have no respect for our court system. My son at 41 yrs old will never ever have a life. I watch him call his children and guess what? They will not call him back. Now tell me all this money he spends. She always comes up with more things to keep him in court. Then he has to go through paying off his lawyer thousands. And you all wonder why these men drink, drugs, don't wanna go to work. Not talking about his health. If my son gets sick. And the courts bury him, (dead) this will not keep me sane. When will it stop. He just loves his kids. And so do us as grandparents. The family has money to burn on control not in my world its about what's right and wrong. That court system is so wrong. I get so sick when i leave there. And its all on my boy. This family is so bad that they hid a child from his own biological father. He don't even know about him.(sad), If this don't make since I guess i have to go further until my last breath . There is so much more. All i can say is on May 22 2017 at 9.00am. I will not let them Crucify him. Our Jesus Christ was Crucified and hung. My son Mark has already been there long enough. How is this fair when i been taking care of my kids. Im a veteran and she's even trying to touch my disability out of greed. I haven't seen my kids in two years because she's keeping them away. California is the worst state to live in.. my ex lives in a 500K home rent free.. makes 50K per year, and she takes 50% of my pay plus all of my tax refunds.. I'm left to live by robbing Peter to pay paul..its horrible way to live.. and DCSS is worse than the IRS.. they treat men like crap like we are criminals..in the end..we die owing more than the original court amount because of the 10% interest they allow my ex to charge me.. no way out.. it's almost the same as being in Prison..you are never free with the family courts..REPORT COMMENTS

I think this would be the greatest thing to happen to a good father. I can say in my own experiences that my ex uses my time with my daughter and child support as a threat. If I don't agree with something regarding our daughter the first thing out of her mouth is I'll take you for more child support and I'll take your time. The scary thing is she wins every time, if I try to go to court myself to save lawyer fees I won't even be given a chance to talk. My ex has no job and no education but that doesn't matter they just take more from me. I would be able to give my daughter a better life with better opportunities then her mother but the judges would never consider me having full custody because I'm just a father. Something must be done to make things more fair for the fathers. I have other children now that live with me full time and I have to worry about supporting them because of the child support I pay a month is a high mortgage payment. It's ridiculous.REPORT COMMENTS

Case support Connecticut I went to court last month for a child support there's a form you fill out do you have a family how many kids do on so on so when I was talking with child support they ask me if I have any kids I said yes I have a family and a disabled child that need oxygen to stay alive so I face the judge I only make minimum wages so I was ask to pay 180 aweek that 760 month the judge treated me or jail time I could afford to pay went we live in a car me and my family my son past away lack of oxygen I have a total of 3 boys living with me the court system didn't care if you have a family or not it's all about the money for get about bonding family but distroy them while the money I'm giving to this women she called told me that she going to take me to my grave lieing in court the court system is in her side 100% your the bad guy while congress playing with the insurance system also trump not focusing in fixing a problem that harming a child family father killing them selfs because of abligation that it over over over mishandled every just taking advantage of the fathers it's sad that we have to live like this my son life congress judges president child system laws you all have to explain to god the death of my son you can't run or hideREPORT COMMENTS

I think with modern technology the time has come for full transparency and fairness. While everyone agrees I believe that supporting one's children is important the current laws do not require transparency and do not require accounting to show the money is spent on those support is intended for. I think this should be treated like EBT for welfare or food stamps with the money where the support money is distributed via a debit card which can only be used on items that benefit the children. This way also full accountability for how the money is spent can be transparent and abuses and mis-spending will be visible to all. While there are certainly many getting support who use it as intended there are also those who treat is as a form of Alimony. My son's mother recieves over $800.00 in child support and medical insurance every month. She does nothing for my son, has married a unemployed military deserter and has had 2 more kids that aren't mine. She is using my son's child support money to live in government assistance housing/section 8 and also to support her other kids and unemployed husband. In exchange my son has little to nothing at his mom's home and ends up with nothing such as new/good clothes and other basic child needs. I also agree that the noncustodial parents which pay child support should be allowed to claim the child on tax returns instead of punished and unable to claim money, that the custodial parent and usually the mother, get tax free but allowed to claim the child at end of year as a dependent. It's unfair, biased, hurtful, disgusting and is in no way in the best interest of the child.REPORT COMMENTS

Unfortunately due to the high amount of child support I have to pay (with no arrears) I am limited to only being able to take my children to the park and barely that because I can barely afford the gas. When my children arent here I only eat ramon noodles and bologna sandwhiches because I have to save the good food for when I have them. During the summer when I have them is a real struggle. I have a 42 year old daughter (mother of my only grandchild, 9 year old boy). She is a Narcissist Psychopath who has mentally and verbally abused him for most of his life. She has used him to hurt and kept him from his father, me and everyone in the family. Recently, the Devision of Family Services put him in my care as she was smoking meth around him and his hair follicle tested positive to meth as well. She is still free. How can this happen? She has committed the worse form of child abuse as well as endangering the life of a child. She does not contribute to society in any way, lives with her father (71 year old-not in good health and still driving a tractor-trailer) who provides her a place to live which is filthy, no job, a recluse (kept her son a recluse). This is the second time family had to step in as she lost custody. I want my grandson to have a chance in life rather than committing suicide or becoming a serial killer. Such a sad, antiquated and genedr biased process. Child support looks to equalize income between houses, how about equalizing parenting time as well? The current system rewards custodial parents to bring in as little income as possible and rewards them to monopolize parenting time since the more time they take away from the non custodial parent the more money they receive. Why is it that a graduate degree educated wealthy woman can chose to be underemployed, hide her assets her maternal family bestows her with and demand more child support from her former husband? These women should be forced to work to their earning potential. There should be a cap on child support awards since the amounts they request are certainly not needed to support the childen, they are just amounts their high cost attornies demand for a means of collecting hidden alimony more than child support. When a father is paying this much money he should have a RIGHT to 50% custody and the mother should use her free time to work as hard as the father has to and financially support her own children. I didn't even get to meet him until he was 7 months old (had to fight for that too). She collects welfare (didn't know that until the support conference - she told me she made $50k/year which is a hell of a lot more than me even without child support). She can afford to drive a mini cooper.
