I recently lost a daughter and there is absolutely nothing more devastating. It is harder than losing a parent and even harder than losing a spouse, both of which I have also endured. Having to go back to work before you are both physically and mentally ready for the challenge is completely unacceptable. I believe that it not only puts the grieving parent at risk, but also their co-workers.
