We have had two children die. I was not working, but it was darn near impossible for my husband to return to work after the standard paltry 3 days' bereavement leave and his performance suffered and he was reprimanded for it. By allowing the bereaved proper time to even wrap their head around what has happened, it will lead to a more productive employee in the end.REPORT COMMENTS
