I was only on Lupron for one month. It helped with my pain but the intensity of the side effects was too much. Plus after reading all the horrid things about it I decided it was best to stop. My 28 year old daughter was given a Lupron shot for endometreosis (sp). Since receiving the shot 2 months ago she has migranes, severe stomach and chest pains which have landed her in the hospital. Get rid of this drug as it does not cure anything.REPORT COMMENTS

Hey! I was diagnosed with Endometriosis at the age of 16, since the age of 17 i have been on Lupron, (all the time with no break)! I am not able to have children and in 2006 i had to do IVF to have my dream come through!!! I have severe back pain, and i continue with my endometriosis pain, but all my Dr tells me is that it's all he can do to me. I have had 14 Laparoscopies since the age of 16 (i am now 24), i suffer alot of emotional and psychological from the Lupron. My question to all of u is: if u all know it's such a bad drug why is it still on the market?? And we're paying crazy amount of money of it??? Don't you think that suffering with the disease is already enough?REPORT COMMENTS

I was giving Lupron in 2002 for Endo and it didn't help at all. Lupron is a category X drug too, which means, do not get pregnant while taking this drug. Yes I got pregnant while taking Lupron and Yes my little girl does get very sick and is under weigh they just blame it on her Dad because his size, no more like Lupron you mean. I was only 24yrs old when I was giving Lupron and my life has been hell. I asked my Dr to just give me a Hysterctomy and he said they would not approve a Hyst for me because my age but still had to have one a year later. I had to have my Fallopian Tubes removed & Gallbladder removed & Massive Tumor in my pelvic & IBS, Joint Pain, Headaches & low back pain , Hip pain,disc protrusion & joint space in my spine & Mild facet Arthropathy, disc extrusion which extends posteriorly approximately 6-7mm L4-L5 Fibermygmia and the list goes on. I have so much emotional and psychological from taking Lupron .The only thing my Dr said is I would just have hot & cool flash. The shot will put you in early menopause that is all. Never did he say Naisha dear Lupron has side effects that may really harm you in the end. I can't work due to Lupron I have call Tap & FDA with all my side effects back in 2006 2007 still no help, Why are they still pushing Lupron on woman. Please help I'm now 31 and I feel like I'm in my early 70 no one should have to live life in pain because of a shot. That they give woman but it was approve for treating Prostate Cancers. 16 years ago, I was prescribed Lupron for self injection daily over a period of 1 year for IVF. I have vision problems, have had 3 herniated discs, hair loss/thinning, hot flashes and some insomnia. I also was prescribed Prozac for depression. I am now wondering what the health effects of such high doses of Lupron will be for my twin sons in the future. It is a sad thing (catastrophic?), when patient's rights go out the window in the name of "financial gain."REPORT COMMENTS

Since taking Lupron my life and health has not been the same. I suffer from agonizing joint and bone pain on a daily basis. I ask that the FDA investigate the safety of this drug.
