Not only are ex offenders limited on job opportunities, fair housing, they are also discriminated against in the school districts as well. My husband is an ex offender from almost 10 years ago and he is not able to participate with our children at school for field trips or any other activites on or off campus due to other children being involved. His offense was for drug possession . He's is not a child molestor or murder, simply a great husband trying to make it past the limitations our government has placed on convicted felons by allowing this type of discrimination!Aug 28th, 2011Someone from El Paso, TX signed.
