This sounds like a great bill. Some people are forced/extorted into confessing for a crime they didn't commit (for a lighter sentence) out of fear of our legal system.Jul 17th, 2011Someone from Reseda, CA writes:
It's almost impossible for me, also a veteran of the active duty Army for 4 years, to find a job with my felony. I repaid my debt to society but have a felony which can't be expunged for 10 years.REPORT COMMENTS

It's time for a change in this country....we all have had our "moment in time" or you "young and stupid" phase....However, once you've grown professionally, given back to young men facing the fallacy in deal and become a champion in the the space of outreach and activism....your still to be discredited because of an old skeleton from decades ago called a "moment in time"! How shameful!REPORT COMMENTS

At this time in our country is at odds with the Sanhedrin,s that run it but the Lord God is near and approaching with judgement for all. Do not depend on men, depend on Jesus Christ. Stand up for what is right, you have paid society by serving time. Make it right, fight back lawfully. God BlessREPORT COMMENTS

This Country should be ashame of how they treat ex felons. They want to make you stay in the low income places(ghetto) if you have been convicted of a felon. No good places will allow you to live there! Most apartments turn you down if you convicted of a felon. I think that is red lining!!! No banks will give you loans no jobs will hire you. You see a lot of job postings followed by no felons. How in the heck do you suppose to live a good life like the people higher up if the system steady keep you down. I am very disturbed of how this country put a front up like freedom is here in USA. When in a real sense it is not..... This country should be ashame of how they treat people in society. I thought this was a free to be me country but it is not. signed a disappointed struggling american!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I believe I speak for many and we ex convicts deserve a second chance. I did my crime, I did my time, I've payed to society and now I just want my rights restored. I've been trying to get into the military and have been rejected many times. We are asking, what can we do for our Country, but our Country has us on hold!REPORT COMMENTS

To whom it may concern, I'm an ex-felon with two convictions and have passed both parles of state and federal sentences for about 6 yrs now. I work as a DOD employee repairing war ships. I'm a patriot and my father is one of the highest decorated navy seals on the west coast. I got into trouble just like other kids but a bit more. Now my life has been trasformed by me taking leaps and bounds to have earned a great career making $72,500.00 annually. I'm married now and have four daughters. I want to open up a security buisness and think its unfair that I cannot obtain a guard card for wich I once had along with a permit to carry a firearm. I DO NOT WANT A PERMIT FOR A FIREARMREPORT COMMENTS
