Terrible when you get treated as "druggie". When you are treating pain and not using drugs for a high .

Doctors should be treating patients, not the government. As someone with spinal cord damage and resulting chronic pain I have suffered at the hands of a doctor who was afraid to prescribe a medication that would keep me active but he was perfectly happy to give me meds that made me incoherent. Yes, I am allergic to NSAIDs for over 30 years. They cause renal failure and I have had to be hospitalized as a result. Yet if you check with any of my current doctors I am as far from an addict as you can get. If the government wants to be part of pain management they should be contributing to and funding research to help people who live in pain every day rather than arbitrarily deciding what I should have in my medicine cabinet.

The gov't needs to stay out of my medical files and leave the doctors to make their own decisions on the best care for their patients

NO outside agency has the authority, education or knowledge to tell a doctor how to treat a specific patient. To do so is criminal and a direct violation of Hippa!!!

please let medical cover TMJ/TMD. We can't afford the full cost of treatment, but we can't afford to not treat it either. If you suffered from it, wouldn't you want help?
