All this is, is a sadly misguided effort to stop illegal drug abuse. You are doing it wrong! Start looking at diverted drugs from mfg plants, drug reps, & warehouses for national pharmacy chains. Your current focus is ludicris!

Chronic pain is a condition just as important as cancer or heart disease that needs to be adequately treated. Please walk a mile in any pain patient's shoes and then decide if good pain treatment is necessary.

Lived in TX all my life.I had started getting help with medicine from the state. Left to help a friend in NC who lost who husband. Lost my TX benefits. TX said they would reinstate when I returned. Big LIE! NC covered me while there with no problem. They were great! Better than TX. Been back in TX over a year still have no coverage. Getting help through OATH. Turned 62 so get SS but no Medicare. Have no insurance. State says I don't qualify for help although I did before. Dr. says I'm disabled but SS says I'm not. I've worked and payed taxes all my life. Now I spend most of it in bed feeling like I have nothing ot live for.OATH can not help with pain meds. DR wants me to go to pain clinic but can't pay for it. Have cataracts and can't see to drive, but can't pay to have them removed. Spent the last three weeks in bed hurting more than I have in my whole life.Who do I trust, and where do I go?

People who force others to endure unnecessary, agonizing pain need to pray every night that they are not paid back one day for the torture that they put these people through.

I'm a chronic pain suffer with Neuropathy. Without my drugs I can not function. I do not drink nor have I ever done drugs. Now I need drugs to help relieve my pain. If you take these drugs away from people who really need them. It would be like a death sentence.

Without adequate analgesia I wouldn't still be working. My job is hard on my body, and retirement is still a couple of years away. I only take enough of the meds to get by. I am never pain free. But without them, I wouldn't be able to move at all.

Stop scaring doctors into breaking their oath. I should not have to be treated like a criminal when I see my doctor or pharmacist. The government is behind the coke, crack, heroin, etc...

Keep the government out of a doctors choice to treat their patients that suffer.

I have had chronic pain since 1989. I have had to deal with doctors who have made me feel like a worthless person. I have spent nights crying, not just from pain, from trying to decide if it was worthwhile to continue living feeling liking my Dr was making me feel, plus living with the pain. Why cry from pain, plus the humiliation my doctor was putting me through?

If you take away pain meds from those that suffer from CHRONIC PAIN due to Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Gastroparesis how do you expect us to live, to function, to be productive. Most of us take our medication as prescribed, we do not think of it as candy like an addict does, we do not look for our next fix as an addict does. Please think of what you are doing.
