GC for a long waiting Skilled immigrant would certainly help the local community where he/she is living by purchasing home, investing in local small business and savings for family & Kids and college funds. Please consider streamlining the process.

Some categories of GC applicants have to wait for a lot of years, which leads to demotivation, and unfair stress in their career progression. Also, if the backlogs are eased, they will be able to concentrate on their career, start companies and contribute to the economy in a much better way.

Per country limit in issuing green card has put legal immigrants from India and China is a very bad place where they have to wait unreasonably long 10+ years to get green card. The rules regarding country limits seems very unfair and archaic. Please consider updating these rules to make it a better system for everyone.

Legal immigrants deserve a better life by providing them stability and ability to grow and prosper. H1b really binds them to a job and reduces their ability to take risks which would improve their living. Hence providing an EAD and ability to change jobs and roles after having an approved I140 will go a long way in improving the lives of many legal, well deserving and hardworking immigrants. Hence please provide EAD with I140 and ease the back logs so that people can get their Green Cards in reasonable time (1 to 2 years maximum from the time the process is initiated).

Legal immigrants (especially H1B who have approved I-140 and stays here for long years) need a better life in USA for them to grow. Hands are tied and cannot move to jobs even after I-140 approved and still have to wait for long years to get the priority date to current. Please help us to provide EAD/portable to move better preferred job roles and ease the back logs of getting the GC in a reasonable time frame. Thank you very much!!!

Large backlogs serve as a method of imposing slavery on Highly skilled immigrants making them difficult to do international travel, start business and switch jobs for professional growth. This is making our degrees and experience irrelevant and our future basically comes down to a stamp of next extension by a visa officer! This is unfair! #FreedomandEquality

We are facing the following challenges. 1. Job immobility 2. Kids educational constraints - since they have to get visa separately to pursue higher education

We have been waiting for last 10 years in the backlog. Its quite agonizing. 1) We can't do international travel as visa stamping is horrible experience and we need to do all the time. 2) We can't visit our family in home country. 3) Job immobility 4) Not able to start a business and implement our ideas.
