Completely agree it's not fair they abuse the system. It should be set up with one main big chain store and their should be a limit on the the kinds of items that they can purchase. If you are receiving Welfare, then you should be screened for drugs. You should also be directed as to what you can purchase. Too many people use this money to buy cigarettes, alcohol, and expensive items such as large screen televisons, jewelry, or video games. If you truly need Welfare to help get back on your feet, then you shouldn't be concerned with buying such things. Once you earn your own money, then buy what you want. I also think you should be required to perform some sort of community service.REPORT COMMENTS
