What's extremely upsetting is that I get up every morning & take the public bus to work 5 days a week to earn a living, pay bills & get any other necessities. I do this & I enjoy my job, but there are plenty in my neighborhood who sleep until 2 or 3 in the afternoon, get up & head out to loaf around on the streets & contribute nothing to society. These are the people that are the most aggravating b/c they are collecting money for nothing. Money that I earned & paid out in taxes. Money that many people work hard everyday for only to have a nice chunk of their pay taken away & given to the very jerks who often make riding public transportation an uncomfortable experience. They hang around the neighborhood screaming, acting foolish, throwing trash in the road & on sidewalks & even in peoples yards, fighting & having full blown shouting matches with one another. These are the people that we get up everyday & go to work for. These are the people that our hard earned money goes to to support. No I do not believe that welfare altogether is bad, b/c there's a lot of families who want more out of life & for their kids & they are struggling to find a way to make it work. Those are the people who need it. Not the people who just managed to find a way to abuse the system & stay at home & collect a check every month. That needs to stop! They just sleep all day & party & get all strung out at night. New, more strict rules & qualifications need to put in placeREPORT COMMENTS

i can't stand to think that lazy, unmotivated, unemployed people are out there smoking cigarettes(9.00 a pack here)and drinking alcohol on the money i pay into taxes. This petition in my opinion shouldn't just include illegal drugs but legal ones also. i don't think that they should receive any cash with their food coupons. THERE SHOULD ALSO BE AN AGE LIMIT SAY 40 IF YOU DON'T HAVE KIDS. ANYTHING YOUNGER THAN THAT RECEIVING WELFARE IS JUST PATHETIC.REPORT COMMENTS

My ownsister is on walefare and will always be. She would fail a drug test. She has 4 children and I do not feel that it is right that her hand is always out. Drug test those on walefare.
