i am the originally author of this petition. I was so hurt i didnt even recognize it when someone else posted it. a year later....nothing has changed. the court didnt protect me from my abuser. hell plymouth court judge nearly gave him a medal. DCF never ran a background check on my ex. saying it was irrelevant..really...i just passed a federal check. he can't pass the state and had multiple DV incidents against him. DCF agent..who has no license and no background in social work...said it was irrelevant? i go to a DV counselor. my ex wont let me see my son. Im too afraid to fight him. calling me an addict with no testing so i did it myself for a year. Judge wouldnt allow it in. why? blood tests? DCF agent told Norfolk police they had a long history with me. he lied. He met me once. I was never on drugs i have tarcycardia. and am on a beta blocker meanwhile my ex on meds for his anger issues. and you allow this? Baker has the power to review these cases. to stop judges from just assuming dcf is right. this man never ever did a home visit....no drug tests. accused my older son..never met him. NO LICENSE....my god when do you step up and stop it. well my little boy lost a mom to a monster who told him i was dead with the help of DCF plymouth. You can change it. DO something about it. oh your ombustmans office lied to me as well. Overhaul it. Keep that promise because we're about to get loud. Legally of course but im tired of being afraid of my ex...and the government letting this happen to my family when Im a great mom. Baker..keep your word. Warren remember who elected you. Lynch. stop pretending you care because you've shown me you don't. And my god stop these judges with god complexes from ruining lives. they listed me as agoraphobic....im a bus driver...and restaurant manager...seriously?? and even if i was....thats not a reason to take a child. I was afraid of my ex. and he won. because he scared me right into two mini strokes. He wont let me talk to my son. he told him i was sick in the head and then dead. according to family members. Imagine this was your child...your daughter DCF didnt help when she was abused....DCF has to be held legally liable for lies. this agent now works for probation..and poof my drug tests they had there are now missing. Fix it.....and stop telling me you can't because we all know you can and im willing to scream it from the rooftops and talk to every reporter i can find. My case is excellent. Baker i talked to your campaign manager...he said i'd be a priority..guess he lied. so along with the other angry parents we will be heard...this is one of six petitions. just for mass. There was no 51a filed on me or anything..but still i believe it ahould be closed. My friend just had all 3 of her children taken away on account of lies that her ex had accused her of..with no investigation done nothing! How is that fair? It isnt fair. The DCF office of Cape Ann have done nothing but affecting my life and the life of my children for the past two weeks. They interviewed both of my children and reported things the kids did not say. Decided to extend the case to 45 days based on things that happened in my past which I was never found guilty by the districts courts of MA and that were not related to the welfare of my children. They want to accuse me of being an abusive mother when both of my children told the social worker I was not. I have been asking for the report from the social worker explaining the reasons why he believed my case should be extended to 45 days and nobody wants to give it to me. I spoke with a supervisor and she was avoiding me by telling me she had more important things to do and that "maybe she'll catch me later." I do believe that they are not the organization that exist to "help families" like they tell everybody. Right now my 10 year old son feels disappointed that the "nice" social worker that spoke to him did not believe his words and broke the trust that my son gave him and saying things he did not say. They accuse parents of being bad parents when at the end the only ones that damage the innocence of children are them.REPORT COMMENTS

before DCF was involved with my family I believed that they were in place to help children. if someone told me what I've seen with my own eyes that this department does I would never have believed it. I feel like this could be my fault the social worker is coming to the house to talk to the children and I their grandmother told children that they could tell her anything things that they were afraid to tell their mother father or me I told them she was coming to help so whatever they couldn't tell someone tell her. after my 7 year old grandson at the time told Worker what was going on at his dads house she got up and looked at my grandson and called him a liar and said she was she was going to tell his father everything he just told her because of his reaction (he got very scared he turned white he was terrified because I had told him he could tell her everything and she wouldn't tell anyone).I understand that there children out there who needs help but from what I have seen what they do in Massachusetts and every other state in this country would be better off they didn't have DCF they cause more problems than they solve or help. somebody need to stand up for all these children because the agency that was put in place to do just that has failed miserably parents need to get together and fight our children's lives depend on it.REPORT COMMENTS

DCF is the biggest abusers and neglectors since the beginning of times. They support cases just to take kids from loving parents and environment they are safe and comfortable in just to have a child messed up in the head thinking their parents don't love them or want them anymore. Just for their own personal gain. DCF is so unethical they need to practice what they preach, they want to help and strengthen families but are traumatizing them instead. They put kids with foster parents who don't care but wants that pay check every month. Not every foster parents have record's but are terrible horrible people who was never caught. I was in Fall River Ma Dcf and my foster mom Gail T stole my personal information. Took me to R.I with no Permission from the state. i could drink with her and stay out late at night. She had no food in her house no running hot water we showered in R.I at her sister house. She was always on the chat line meeting strangers and having them sleep over. She loved the casinos and left me home all weekend alone. Her cat had ringworm and she would always open my door when i was at school to let the cat in on my bed i got ringworm on my neck. Fall River knows theirs system is so far gone but they still feel the right to place kids with people like that an think everything is fine. We as parents should have the right to place a 51A on them for what they are trying to prevent (ABUSE AND NEGLECT) while they have our children in their care just to harm them mentally, physically and emotionally but WERE THE BAD PARENT'S. Dcf had me sign ova temp custody of my 2 babies 7. And 4. Im the only one that has lived uncomfortably w x- in laws .twice. First time i had almost a breakdown from living in an unhealthy environment....years later was only supposed to be for 30 days... The x inlaws@ least 6 x have tried to open cases never opened .this last time it was i beleive still premeditated.bc only after illegally kickin g me out w out my kids...after attempting two shelters that year. N once b4 placed for 9 months n leaving bc i got me n my kids out n in own home x inlaws begged me to return . i did .only after that same day my childrens father beat me up in front of kids once again in front of a supermarket n almost sufficated me dcf didnt hold a 51 a on him .yet he was arrested on a 500 $ bail.n court issued a restraining order on him still in affect. Dad neva sees kids or really does anything until we in the courts.w his pricey*****lawyers.history has repeated itself for ova 4 years now..,w kids dad attacking me n infront of kids...dosnt this go against everything dcf is supposed to stand for!!? FATHERS, GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, UNCLES ETC ETC I'm tired of DCF talking in circles when questions are asked! They play mind games and then you realize they never actually answered your question!! That's simply because 1)they have no idea what they're doing, they have workers that just got out of college and their too immature to comprehend the severity and importance their job really is supposed to be or 2)they have already made up their minds and made judgements against you unprofessional judgements..personal judgements! So basically they try to set you up for failure and string it along & prolong everything in hopes it'll be too late by the time you fully understand your rights as a parent or whatever their evil minds think!! Most of these workers don't even have children so there's no way they could ever begin the pain us parents endure through all of this! BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY THE PAIN AND CONFUSION OUR CHILDREN FEEL!! Most workers just look at their job like everyone else..its just a paycheck..they're not thinking about our families and our children when they go home!!!Before i tell you my story I must say i feel for each and everyone of you because i know exactly how it feels to have your entire life ripped from you in an instant! There are good workers, who genuinely care about their job and the people they are assigned to help..but the majority are heartless and judgemental! Its no secret DCF has had their share of mess ups lately.. probably longer except now their failures are finally being brought to light! And unfortunately many of us loving parents are suffering because they have toi much heat on them to make anymore mistakes! There are success stories and I pray to God that i am one of them and so are all of you! In order to achieve our goals we must fight, be persistent and do anything and everything possible to get your babies back!! There are bad parents out there.. abusive negligent twisted sickos.. mentally unstable people that have no business caring for children so in cases like that i am grateful for DCF but more often than not good mothers who would give their lives for their children have to suffer because of those twisted individuals! BUT isn't it DCF's job to be able to separate the good ones from the bad ones?? Is missing counseling appointments due to transportation issues a legitimate reason to lose your children forever?? NO! & that is just one of the many reasons DCF is hard on people! How about instead of saying you're not being consistent..simply suggest certain transportation resources! As workers that is their job.. to help you! Ok my story i will make short.. I'm a mother of 3 beautiful smart healthy daughters! My children were up to date on all their shots and dr appointments, never once had an injury.. my youngest daughter was sitting in her swing, i noticed her arm looked puffy and she wasn't lifting it. iREPORT COMMENTS

Run by Lyn Mello and her henchman Rena Ugol, they subject children to painful evaluations and keep cases open so their social workers can add false hours to their budget and the the "work hours" they need for promotion. Clean up Plymouth County DCF. My daughter has been taken twice due to a physical disability. I have a seizure disorder, and an ancient history of substance abuse. She has been molested in Foster care, taken to a residential facility, placed in yet another home. While I gave clean screens and fought. It took 68 days to receive a service plan. Now I'm at bat again 2 seizures my system clean! Same discretionary Judge, same hateful attorney, and a caseworker who perjured herself. My daughter is 8 now. Someone do something other than give these 24 year old idiots new notebooks. Hey Y'all the joke is they don't have to post notes on a case for 30 days. What did the Child Welfare League's investigation find? I have sat on the latest service plan waiting for my attorney to be present. Slippery bunch they are. I will not sign it. Let it pass the Americans with Disabilities act. I am a poor but well educated woman(Masters in Psychology) on my way to a J. D. ( Juris Doctorate) Clean up you're act DCF, sick of your larceny and taking children first asking stupid questions next. Destruction of Children and Families? I was accused of child abuse (falsely) because of a misinterpretation of something I said (by a woman who has a history of making false claims of abuse and neglect against others in her town). DCF did everything possible to dig up dirt on me, but did not do the same for the person who made the allegation. The child, who isn't even my own kid, had no proof of distress or harm, yet I was charged with child neglect because "I might have emotionally hurt" the kid, and because "sometimes the results of emotional traumas aren't even seen for years, so I can't be sure I didn't damage the kid." I want to repeat that there was ZERO proof of emotional trauma. I said something stupid, and it was misinterpreted, and it blew up into a grave issue. After I was charged, when I demanded clarification for the rationale behind their claim, the DCF worker compared me to a drug addict who doesn't properly watches his/her children and to a mother who only feeds her children ice cream. These analogies were so irrelevant to my situation, and were quite frankly offensive to me. Because of a kid who misinterpreted something I said, and a crazy mother who likes drama, I had to go through months of investigations and interviews to sort out the lies and the truth, and in the process face all kinds of shame, humiliation, and disrespect. I almost started therapy to deal with the stress (and I have no history of anxiety or any mental strife). This organization lets so many cases of actual abuse and neglect go ignored, and then comes after me about nothing. It just isn't right.REPORT COMMENTS

DCF never gave me a chance to mother my oldest son. They assumed me to be an uneducated drug addict, who would never have the ability to conquer my drug addiction. My service plan was full of unattainable goals, that were not reachable in the short amount of time they gave me to complete the task they deemed nesacary in order to regain custody of my then infant son. DCF forced me into homelessness. They tried to distance both my parents from me, and my son from me as well. They did nothing to help my family. I am fortunate to have relieved myself of my once addictive ways. A lot of parents will lose parental rights due to drug use, yet drug addiction is proven to be treatable. DCF automatically labels drug addicts as monsters, yet they will hand a child back into the arms of an abuser. People with violent tendancies are proven to stay that way. Treatment does not work for violent people most of the time, yet here in Massachusetts, with a growing drug epidemic, it seems as though DCF takes children from drug addicted parents permanently, so they can gain financially when the children are adopted out. I am one of the fortunate ones who's child did not get adopted out of my family due to my Mother's faith in me, and her love for my son. She fought hard to make sure my son would not end up in a foster home or adopted to another family . If my mother herself wasn't an educated and dedicated person with no police record, I do not know where my son would be today, because DCF most certainly didn't give me the proper amount of time to complete the task on that service plan to regain custody of my then infant son. I am fortunate to have my life back today, and DCF is not to thank for that. If they had it their way, I would be addicted or dead, and my son would be adopted into a family who could never love him the way my family does. All so they could try and get additional funding for legally trafficking my son. Fight people. Fight hard. Take action, for noone else will take action like we can.REPORT COMMENTS

Young, childless, fresh out of school workers can not make a decision in 20 mins that changes the lives of an extended family (for the worse in this case) for life! I have been dealing with dcf for three years and I feel I was a target to them from day one. They got involved via an anonymous mandated reporter who had suspicions my oldest daughter was being sexually abused by her father, my then husband. The charges turned out to be true, but she had been threatened not to tell me or she would get hurt really bad. I immediately filed for divorce and got him away from my kids and myself, but dcf stayed involved and investigated me. For two years. They had a service plan that was going to be closed in August 2011 and in /June 2011 my s.w. Came by unexpectedly. I had been taking a nap because I have insomnia and my boyfriend, who was fully capable, was watching the kids. When they got to the house and saw ne groggy, they immediately said I was high and they'd have to remove my kids immediately. I thought I was still asleep and I was having a nightmare but unfortunately it was really happening. My kids were literally pulled out of the house crying and screaming, confused and scared. And I had no power. They claimed the next day in court that both my boyfriend and I were high. Based on nothing but their opinion. And from everything I have learned, their opinion is swayed by greed and opportunity. I have four children so I believe they saw a money making opportunity. I was not given a drug test, neither was the other adult who had been in the house, but the judge in Taunton juvenile court sided with the dcf worker anyway. All based on no facts, Just one social workers opinion. My kids were the real victims because they were forced into emergency shelters, several abusive foster homes and respites where no one cated at all about them. All the while, I was given bi weekly supervised visits. I never hurt my kids, the system did, but the social workers again had their minds made up and I was conned by their empty promises. I jumped through every hoop they put in front of me and in the end, it was decided they were better off being adopted, because the adoptive parents had more money than I did. I couldn't believe I was trapped in this crooked system, helpless and unable to help my kids. My God given right to raise the children I gave birth to was taken away from me. My youngest son was only 4 when they were stolen from me, and at visits he would sit in my lap and cry and ask me when he was going to come home. That's all he ever wanted, he would say, " I don't wanna go to that house, I wanna go to your house, mama" and I was powerless. I was and always will be crushed. I now only get three visits a year with my precious kids. I miss them so much, every minute of every day and every day my anger grows, because I never got the chance to prove that I was a good mom. My future was decided by the social workers, the judge and the lawyers who often had conferences where I was ordered to stay out in the court hallway. I had no say. Ever. My family , destroyed forever. Five lives altered in a split second. This can't go on. TREPORT COMMENTS
