I encourage anyone involved with the Dept.of children and families not be intimidated by these Social Workers. I am A Proud Recovering alcoholic that was Involved with dcf Dec 2011 at which they removed my kids. I went I,to a Recovery Covering Program as not only did I struggle with alcohol I lived a life of D.V....I come from well of up bringing went to school to be a brain injury social,worker etc. Yet I was treated with such Disrespect. I told Social Worker I'm not Ur average client....I worked hard on myself and continue my recovery programs,active speaking to woman. I sat for some time and listened quietly, which is hard as I am,very out spoken being said I was told I,needed to take DBT Classes meaning basically to learn to speak the way DCF wanted me to...I researched and researched and went to all meetings listened to their buckshot as I still sat quietly..One of my children had to go to counseling where DCF said the child had to go as that's we're they were funded from and this Counselor LET ME SAY NO LONGER CAN WORK ANYWHERE was very inappropriate with the child hanging out like buddy along with friends etc. I told the Dept. Yet I took ful charge and took care of situation myself. What I am saying is BE UR OWN ADVOCATE, RESEARCH ASK QUESTIONS....YOU CAN DO IT. I CALLED,THE SENATOR. DCF IN BOSTON FILED ABUSE OF DISCRETION AGAINST THE DEPT. I GOT MY CHILDREN AND WILL NO LONGER ALLOW THEIR JUDGEMENTS THOUGHTS ABOUT ME "RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC" BOTHER MY STRENGTH. DCF WORKERS ARE HUMAN AND IN MY JUDGEMENT OF SEEING SOME WORKERS THEY NEED FAMILY INTERVENTIONS THEMSELVES. To many Children are Dying in the Depts. Care STAND UP TAKE STAND IF UR IN RECOVERY DONT BE ASHAMED. I AM HERE FOR U ALL ....GOD BLESS THE AUBURN BABIES LOST DUE TO NEGLECT OF PEOPLE WHO TAKE KIDS,AWAY. OH 1 LAST THING MY GRANDSON IS IN CARE AND I CAN NOT BE HIS FOSTER MO. There needs to be a government agency that regulates D.C.F like a checks n balances system that takes on appeals and investigates corrupt actions and workers.. just like there is internal affairs division for crooked cops. Have a child missing in Europe on an open adoption from them for starters! money changes hands !!! And they lie about everything !!! You will never see them knock on a lawyer or doctors door because they have good lawyers! They go after people who have little money to defend themselves!! Half if not more if there social workers have no chasten and think they are text book psychologists when it comes to parenting!!! They put all kids in early intervention love pumping them up with medications they don't need!!! They are a disgrace!!! DCF NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. . IF children were actually abused like they say there were, everybody would be in jail for child abuse.. no they're made up allegations there's nothing to back it up no evidence but yet they kidnap the children put them in homes where they are being raped and murdered.. when they could be home with their familys, be sleeping in a nice warm bed and have lots of love.. all because of the incentives, the money they get from the government.. The goverment is feeding into this abuse it's disgusting and needs to come to a end.. think every parent that has been wrongly accused in their children kidnapped should all come together from all 50 states and file a class action lawsuit against our president for allowing this also..REPORT COMMENTS

My sister-in-law had her kids taken away under false accusations.. and she and her husband have been put through total hell over the last year - all because of claims that were completely unfounded.. they even have recommendations from counselors and someone appointed from the court that their 3 kids be returned home.. but for some reason DCF is continually allowed to falsify reports and continues to keep them apart. Its utterly disgusting. Their kids are being put through the same hell - their oldest was removed from one foster home sue to abuse being reported and now somehow is being returned to the same foster home?! they need to be home... there is absolutely nothing wrong with their parents or their home life - these kids are the most loved, cared for children - and for some reason nobody wants to believe that... meanwhile there are kids in actual danger that are being ignored while DCF makes false claims against good people.REPORT COMMENTS

my friend had a drug problem, she was giving urine samples, and passing them for months. Then one day out of the blue they decided to make her daughter move in with her father (a good man), however she was happy living with her mother, and tramatized by the move. My friend also had letters from her doctor and therapist recommending the girl remain with her mother, DCF ignored that and threatened her with more action when my friends father made a complaint against DCF. DCF has something on file about me as being a danger to children. Whatever they have on file is not being released to me and I believe it to be false and it has been there between 20 to 25 years now. It is preventing me from taking custody of children and it also cost me my job working with kids years ago. It wasnt made clear to me until recently that they have something on me. They refuse to answer my phone calls & when they do, they just hang up on me. How can I request to see what they have on me? Can it be removed? Can I take them to court? Can I sue? DCF does not do anything to protect children from abuse. My daughter has been telling me since two and a half that her father is hurting her genitals, and she is now turning six. When DCF initially investigated they told me he is likely wiping her too hard, and to get her involved in therapy (they provided a referral). As she continued to make disclosures and 51A's were filed by mandated reporters, I was threatened that if they didn't stop DCF would take her away from me. Then they started saying I was coaching her to say these things. So family court ordered a evaluation by a court clinician who reported she is not being coached, and he couldn't say she was being abused, because when he asked her at 3 years old how many times it happened she said 30. At the time she couldn't even count to 10, so he felt she was just saying what people want to hear. Meanwhile my daughter can describe sexual behaviors and body parts, in a way that no child at the age of 3 could describe, without being subjected to it. My daughters therapist reached out to the Area Director at DCF to ask why my daughter wasn't being heard, or they weren't doing anything to help. The acknowledged that they were biased against me, and she advocated for a trauma evaluation. The trauma evaluation revealed my daughter had been abused by her father for several years. DCF then reinterviewed my daughter alone, with no record of the interview and said she recanted everything. Three experts testified that DCF's line of questioning was grossly inappropriate by asking all leading questions. After the trauma evaluation was released to DCF they supported a case of sexual abuse against her father, and have done absolutely NOTHING about it. In fact, I still had to take my daughter to court ordered visits (but she refused to walk inside the police station, where exchanges take place, to go see him). The only contact I have had from DCF since they supported the case, is I received a voice mail from the assigned social worker stating they didn't know how to proceed with my case. So no action has been taken. Family court finally stepped in and stopped the visits, stating my daughters therapist needs to determine if/when visit can resume if not to re-traumatizing to my daughter. My daughters case files states that I refused services, when in fact I have never refused services. They tried to say I was coaching my daughter to say things in order to get the visits with her father stopped, however my request in family court was asking for supervised visits....I never asked that the visits be stopped. DCF is negligent here. They make their investigations about the parents, and not the children. They failed to protect my daughter when, she was saying she was being hurt. I contacted the area clinical director and recommended they have the caretaker sign off on the 51B reports before they are finalized, because the information contained in their 51B is grossly inaccurate, so an audit of tREPORT COMMENTS

DCF took my daughter because I had post partem depression and they did NOTHING to help. Their reason for taking her was a kerosene leak which wasn't the truth. It doesn't help when you have people calling behind your back. I am doing everything DCF tells me to do and still they want more. I went on medication and still they say I am at risk for safety concerns. I bonded with my daughter and now I want her back dcf has NO intention of returning her to me. In the past two weeks she was taken from one foster home where she has been since she was 6mths old. And now she's in another foster home and she's becoming messed up because of this. She's acting out and she's 23mths old. DCF is confusing her and ruining her life.REPORT COMMENTS

My cousin was in an abusive relationship and had her children taken away because she exposed them to domestic violence and didn't "seek help", there are multiple police reports saying otherwise, and I went to the hearing to try and attempt to get temporary custody of her children, 3 and 2 months. DCF denied my petition because there was a report on my family from 1991. I was a child, so obviously the report was not against me, and I was never removed from my home so it must have been unfounded. Instead they gave custody of the 4 year old to the father's mother, who since has had 7 51a reports against her, and put the baby in foster care. My cousin has completed her action plan, I have been supportive the whole way and DCF gives her the runaround when it comes to getting her kids back! THEIR MAIN GOAL IS NOT TO PUT THESE KIDS BACK WITH THEIR PARENTS. WHO IS GREASING THEIR WHEELS?! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! DCF is a disgrace. I was a foster child and saw first hand how they lie and neglect children. They also have zero intentions of reuniting children with their parents. I was a teen in for care and protection. I was denied a kinship placement because my friends mom's boyfriend had an open DUI case. I was 17 and had my own car. What does that have to do with me? Luckily for me, I was older and had a voice. I also had a good lawyer. I moved in with my friends mom while DCF said I couldn't. They refused to pay for my placement until the case was closed. Whatever! I had a job and paid my own way! These precious little children don't have a voice. They can't choose what's best for them. My friends baby was just taken away. She passed drug tests and did was she was told. But yet, the baby, a newborn, was still removed. It's time to stop letting these people play God. They tried to take my children away too due to false accusations. Speak up parents! I had a fancy lawyer who took my case pro bono. She had ONE conversation with DCF. I also emailed some mayors. Speak LOUD and tell anyone who will listen until DCF had to take accountability for their actions and answer for the children's and families lives they have ruined!REPORT COMMENTS

My 15 yr old daughter has discovered. The power she has with Dcf. I'm a single mom of five with my two youngest still at home. Someone got upset with me over a ridiculous. Argument. Dcf was called the police were sent to my house and my 9 year little boy and 15year old daughter were removed. I moved from Dorchester. To Braintree two years ago with no car no friends family nothing.because I wanted to give my children a better life. My daughter hates it here and although thriving in Braintree schools she still insist we move back to Dorchester. On a daily basis well she made up some god awful lies saying I beat her and she was terrified. To stay in my house she wanted to go to Dorchester. With her aunt and uncle they not only drove her their themselves but they also took my nine year old baby who is a huge cuddle bug and though a great guy my brother doesn't particularly believe in lots of hugs and kisses so because my daughter said ridiculous lies my children have been removed and a 51A police report has been attached. I have been ordered no contact my poor little guy doesn't have a clue why mommy. Isn't coming for him in absolutely heart broken I never abused my children. Please help meREPORT COMMENTS

I highly doubt that little boy was visited and if he was the worker should be in jail.....will charlie baker do as he promised...or do what duval did which is nothing.....and more kids die because DCF failed ..this could easily happen to me as my son was given to the abuser.....his record ignored while i dont even have one. never did. no drugs nothing. he just had more money and a corrupt agent.
