Reform the work related immigration law. Either you let both H1B and H4 work just like L1 and L2 Or STOP everything including H1B and L1. H4 EAD is not a guaranteed job, the eligible candidates still have to be qualified enough and prove in the interview that they are worth hiring. May the most fair and human thought WIN.REPORT COMMENTS

I came to the US in 2013 on H1B and my husband accompanied me when we got married and came to the US in 2015. He was working for a reputed UK bank in India for a good salary. He is well educated with an MBA and a PMP cetrification. We applied for his H4EAD and he has started working with that very recently. When his H4EAD got approved our happiness knew no bounds but now I am heartbroken as we will be back to square one.I am terribly depressed because i feel responsible for ruining my husband's valuable two years of career growth. We made the decision to come to the US, simply because we had the option of H4EAD. Late 20s is the time to work hard, may be buy a house and start thinking of settling down. We cannot even think of having a kid with just my income. Please please please do what you can do to save H4EAD if you believe, we truly add value in your society. Thank you for your time.REPORT COMMENTS

Please do not cancel H4 EAD. Those who are applying for H4 EAD are contributing to American society really not taking away American jobs. These are talent individuals who have bachelors or master degree and have prior work experience mostly in IT industry. Without H4 EAD these individuals are forced to stay home and lose confidence, getting depressed, creates dependency on spouse for basic needs, families forced to be one income families with raising cost and opportunity to contribute to the various communities we live and thrive in will be lost. Most of the H4 EAD people are Asian race where there is a long wait time for getting Green Card which is anywhere from few years to decades and majority of them are women who are talented. If there is no backlog on Green Card there will be no need for H4 EAD. Also, there are people in H4EAD who have opened up business and hiring US workers. They are not looking to work at super market / stores they are skilled professional who are passionate and want to contribute to the economy. They do pay Tax, SSN and spend on community which adds to economy. There are many families who started their family by buying home, investing on stuff like car, home improvement etc. where those debt rely on both of the income and losing one will make them go bankrupt and impact the US economy.REPORT COMMENTS

H4 EAD, if revoked will push away to talents to other countries. Will surely increase the innovative ideas to push jobs offshore given elite available techs. Mr President - stop believing on people’s personal agenda. Please pull the stats out and analyze. I am sure you will be amazed to see sacrifices of h4 spouses to support America grow great. You kill any potential, you push american growth a step backward. Stop the downfall.REPORT COMMENTS

Please don't revoke H4 Ead. It is not fair to discriminate legal immigrants. Let us allow educated h4 to realize their potential. Let us compete and make America great, let us not discriminate certain people and make America great.REPORT COMMENTS

Please do not revoke H4 EAD. We are law abiding citizens who pay our taxes and contribute to the economy. Rescinding this EAD is not the solution for stopping illegal immigration or solving the unemployment issues. In fact, many H4EAD holders run successful businesses and create employment opportunities. Being able to work should be one of the basic rights that every individual who lives in this country legally should have. Please let us have our own identity and do not take this minimal right away from us. Please think about the financial repercussions this might have on many families who need two income sources to provide a decent living to their families. It is outright inhumane to snatch away something that you have already given out to someone in need!!REPORT COMMENTS

I’m graduated top of my class with 4.0 gpa and worked for several corporations on h1b and have recieved several awards from management for outstanding contributions in my teams. I fell out of status as my employer did not file for permanent residency on time. H4EAD provided me a wonderful opportunity to use my skills everyday and continue working in my professional field. Revoking H4EAD is not the solution to immigration fraud and abuse or body shops or companies that do worker replacememets. Do not revoke H4EAD.REPORT COMMENTS

I went to a two year full time MBA at Vanderbilt on my own dime and wasn't lucky to make it in the H1-B lottery twice in a row. Luckily for me, the H4-EAD was a saving grace. I now have a full time job as a manager, putting to use my education and contributing to the nation's economy, instead of becoming a depressed soul wanting to uproot the entire family to another country. Make immigration a fool proof system instead of hurting those who are growing the economy. Finding employment opportunities for all is the solution to growing a healthy economy.REPORT COMMENTS

My spouse and I came to the US in 2007 with both on work visas my wife on L1A and I on H1B. My company filed my Green card process in 2011 and her company had no policy for filing Green Card, she continued on L1A that was for 7 years and we expected our Green Card or i485 EAD by the time she completes her full term on L1A. She had to lose her job in Jan 2015 because she did not have work visa, She holds a Masters degree in Project Management from a University of Virginia and I hold my Masters from a prestigious college in India. Our status was uncertain due to the green card backlogs and luckily as a stop gap we had H4 EAD she was able to find another job and back to work by Sep of 2015. We have all long for the past 11 years been law biding citizens, paying our taxes, and boosting economy of USA in all means, We were able to buy a house because she was working; now our future is uncertain with growing kids and mortgage to pay at this juncture I don't what my future holds.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a dentist who went to a dental school here in the United States. I practice on my H4 EAD and I am on the process or buying my own office. I graduated among the top ten students in my class in the dental school and provide very ethical, conscientious, patient centered care. I support my family, the community and this country and help grow the economy. Please help me continue to do the same by letting me contribute to this country and economy. This is extremely important now more than ever because even though we have been accepted and processed for our permanent residencies, the backlog puts us at a risk of now knowing when we will receive our green cards. Please recognize that my skills are essential to help a lot of patients who I see on the daily and help retain the H4EAD. Thank youREPORT COMMENTS
