Please do not cancel the H4 EAD. These are ppl who are skilled and talented to pursue their dreams and have a career for them self like any other individual. They have the potential to support their family and this should not be taken away from them. This is so unfair to be taken away this rights and would have to suffer due to broken green card process.

Everyone has the right to pursuit their American dreams. H4 EAD holders are creating the job opportunities but not "Stealing" the jobs. H4 EAD holders are contributors for the American economy. It is unfair to stop their working rights just because of current broken Green card system.

Please do not cancel H4 EAD... This change will not only impact HE EAD holder but the entire family... It's so bad for those H4 VISA holder cause without this EAD, they have to wait & be unemployed for another 6-10 years even holding the right skills and willing to contribute to this country...(Due to the current Green Card process waiting period for India and China)... It's unfair to those people who are stopped just because they are born in these two countries... Providing the EAD doesn't mean a guaranteed job... It's a two way choose... They have to prove their value to this country before being hired... This EAD just try to make both this country and those India and Chinese family better by offering an opportunity during the long Green Card waiting period... Please... don't push those who love this country and willing to contribute to this country away...

Many H4EAD holders are highly educated individuals with great skills in their specific fields. Ruling them out of the rights to work in this country is not only unfair, but also will drive talents away. Also, aren't they legally queueing up to become an American already? Why treat your future citizen in such a cruel way?!

Please do not take my independence and will to work away. I have live here for 10 years and its only since 2015 I have been able to do a job. yes its easy to say "go back to your country" but please understand that we have built a home in America and have been following rules and regulations and paying taxes like every good citizen. Please do not take our independence and liberty to have a job and lead a respectful life so we are able to contribute at home and in society. Most H4 Ead souses are women, taking away H4EAD is also discrimination against women who have the will and qualification to find a job but are being harassed to stay at home Please save H4ead

H4 ead revocation is a wrong step and does not help fix broken immigration system. This rule already was restricted only for people waiting years to get there green cards. I agree with idea of preventing misuse and but complete removal of EAD is unfair for H4 visa holders.

We have been in USA from 2007, filed gc in 2011. I have a passionate approach towards entrepreneurship and ever since the H4’s were given EAD, I saw a ray of hope for me to pursue my dreams in the land of opportunity, only to grow with the big American dream. I have worked day and night besides my full time job at a Govt. Project in city of Detroit, to make my dream turn into reality, invested a lot of money to built the a super successful business model and plan that will only for grow and contribute towards American economy. Also at my job, I have seen utmost and sincere dedication, gone above and beyond my roles and responsibilities and helped the organization achieve their goals. We have been legal immigrants, paying proper taxes, invested in property, contributing towards Medicare and Social security, without even knowing, if we will ever benefit from it in future, but only becuase it’s righteous to do so! So how is it righteous for the Govt. to refrain us - the hardworking, skilled, talented, legal immigrants from working and contributing to the Big American dream anyway???

My Green Card was applied in 2014 along with few other country men working with me. They all got their Green Card and they are living life here with full rights along with their families. We 'Indians' due to country wise backlog no where see our Green Card in any near future, the backlog is exponential. We might not even get it in our Life time. We got some relief in 2015 when H4 stuck in Green Card Backlog got EAD. We made lots of life changing decisions looking our kids future. If H4 EAD is taken back, this will impact our life, our Kids lives, our future and more than this, its Unfair, its inhuman to keep highly skilled, law abiding, tax paying immigrants spouses at home with no rights for indefinite time, who were already accepted by United States to be Citizen in future. Humble request please don't take away this rights from H4's.

I have been working on H1b visa and now I had an opportunity to apply for H4EAD which was really a relief for everyone of us in a family. How H4 EAD helps not only in terms of helping partner earn but also USA’s economy I can throw some light on it being in both situation. This is evident that when both partners in family worked we had more spending power, we buy house, cars, we had a privilege to call our parents on tourist visa so they can spend some time with their grandkids, we were in position to bear their traveling and living expenses. However with both spouses on H1b stress to maintain H1b visa has always been there, since you can’t take sabbatical without worry of losing H1B and then if you want to continue to work on H1b visa you either need to get your Green Card application initiated so that you can get extension for H1b else after 6 years you have to stop working or leave country for 365 days and then reapply and trust your luck for your H1b application to get selected. Sometime due to family needs atleast one spouse in family has to take temporary leave from work which is where this H4 EAD came as a relief for us families. Because with it we can just stay in corporate world without fear of any strict immigration laws. Not only with H4EAD we can work for other company, with H4EAD we can start our own business, running a business means we can hire more American citizen, we will pay more taxes, we will invest in American economy and with that we will have more buying power so we will be buying house, cars, furniture and pay more taxes. Allowing spouses to work on H4EAD is better solution than for qualified skilled people to be able to work ONLY on H1B. Keyword here is ‘ONLY H1B to be able to work’. I can’t emphasize more on it. This gives atleast one person in family to leverage their skills without being under stress that we face around H1B visa. We being in this position really don’t see that we are taking any American jobs or hampering American economy instead with H4EAD we have more flexibility and less stress and trust me with H4EAD more Indian families will think of running business and that will help in growth of American economy and not degressing it. Hence we request you to think about all perspectives and decide to do good by country, families and every human.

It’s my humble request that please don’t make us suffer. Many women should sit at home despite having experience back in India with extraordinary skills & talent. Many people invested half of there life in studying, we want to continue our career. We don’t want to be useless after all so much hard work from childhood to make bright career goes in vain. Please consider even us as human beings and give us minimum rights to earn our bread and be independent. If we work, it is not that we are not paying taxes ? We also pay taxes similar to other immigrants than why should we only get this punishment? Please treat everyone as human everybody as equal right on this earth according to god. It’s unfair, minimum rights are required even for spouses.

Many (H4 visa holder) like me are are mother / father of US citizens. Taking away apportunity to work not only for money but to create self Identity and be better role model for their children's will be a cruel act. H4 EAD is not only helping us to be better person in our life but also be better parents to young citizen of USA. H4EAD is infact creating job opportunities in consumer and property market, they are also contributing to taxes, (now my spouse also need to pay more tax as I am not dependent). You can't create better future for America, if their young citizen see their well qualified mother/ father struggling everyday to keep their self Identity.

After two years of sitting at home and doing absolutely nothing productively, I was happy when I got my H4EAD card. I am now a tutor at a popular Math and Reading Centre and it’s an honor and privilege to impart my knowledge to kids between the ages of 3-18. It is highly unfair if this is taken away. I got this job based on my qualification and I’m not taking away any American’s job. Me and my family is on our way to get the GREEN CARD. It is very harsh on us, who are on their way to become citizens here ,to be subjected to this.
