Not only has the CDC failed to take proper action on this HORRIBLE disease but have instead created obstacles for those in the medical professions anxious to help. One has to believe this is not a mere dereliction of duty.

To whom it may concern: I have had these rodent mites for over a year now. Doctors acknowledge the bites on all four family members and the mite sample, but entomologists erroneously keep insisting that they can't do this. NOT true. We have bites all over our body and photos. These are mites that live on wildlife! If a bird or rodent nests in your house, you're screwed because all current chemicals we have do not work on mites as of yet as they aren't insects. I hope the members of the CDC enjoy biting and crawling 24/7, because if they don't look into this, I guarantee you they will run into an infested person. Heck, there's already articles out there on this! Tropical rat mites (Ornithonyssus bacoti) ? serious ectoparasites https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.dgvd.org/media/news/publikationen/2009/ddg_09094_eng.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwjvkbqG_fjJAhVC1CYKHdIjDWIQFghLMAw&usg=AFQjCNHl9aRhTKHx358ItkLiHLzkCGnk1A&sig2=a3oN_wmKdvH7k_cshVeivw

The phenomenon which you are all experiencing is a host switch by bird and rodent mites, adapting to human hosts. Mites are one of the most adaptive creatures we know of. They don't actually live in the skin but easily are thriving in clothing and fabrics and on rare occasions, homes due to the presence of wildlife like mice or birds taking up residence on or near a house. Evidence is already showing these blood feeding mites are taking blood from human hosts--this is undisputed. The thing is, the CDC has already seen a case of this, but done nothing. See here: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=5017197 What the CDC is wrong about is that they don't suck your blood. They do suck blood, similar to bed bugs. However, they reproduce at a much more rapid rate and thrive in humidity. The unfortunate part about this whole thing is when you're a scientist studying this phenomenon, trying to convince them that this is happening is quite difficult as there is no controlled study. Know any entomologists? Put a live birds nest hidden on their house somewhere. Let them learn the lesson the hard way, as much as I hate to say it. ~Anonymous Researcher

They are in my hands and land,of under my nails, they feel like splinters under my nails, painful. They are in my mouth, and they will just pop out of my skin.I see them eating holes into my flesh, making like breathing tubes for themselves. They are contagious I think, they blend in to what is near them to look like part of our environment until something comes along for them to attach to. Im not sure how many i have, but i know for a fact at least 4 because I seen them. I have not been able to get any help from the medical profession. The act like its all in my head, try teatin me for myth. Im being ate alive . I believe i have more than one type of parasite/s that is ravaging my body from the inside, turning it into much and i cant get any help feels like they are in my head,my heart,my kidneys. Strange little things they have took over all my mole holes,. Any scratch, open wound or whatever, the parasite comes along and kinda like heals it with a whitish ,leathery type shell. I dont bleed on the outside hardly at all anymore if i happen to get hurt. bmy fingernails have turned yellow, kinda real hard like Acrylic fake nales ,and then it swells so bad almost looks like my nails ate going to blow off you can even see it . Feels like i have splintets being stabbed under my nails. Ive been bleeding from i thought was my period, womanily issues, until i could actually feel stuff moving in me. I have been using natur remedies, but im not so sure they will kill what is inside me. Im pretty sure i need help and cant get it.

I am 53 and have been suffering this horror for at least 3 years. I have lost my hair and teeth. I have lost 2 inches in height. My weight is crazy up and down. I cannot go in public without being judged for the way I look. I know they know not what may lay ahead, so I forgive them. I forgive the Doctors that would not even get as close as 4 feet to examine me. Makes a person think that maybe those Doctors knew something and just did not want any part of it. Can't say I blame them, I would run too if I had know. Like many others I went from a vibrant adult in her prime of life to wondering if there will be a tomorrow for me. There were nights I begged for someone to put me out of my misery, even knowing that was wrong. I'm writing not in hopes of pity but in a true and genuine plea that this disease can and will be acknowledged before it is too late for all the others. It will come, it will continue to manifest and grow. It adapts and has some form of intelligence. I call it..."IT", because that is all we/I can do. Not knowing what you are fighting or how to fight is the biggest part of the battle. Not having a diagnosis or plan of action to control or cure is life threatening to say the least. Those with diagnosed diseases are given the gift of hope or planning for what is to come and other people relate and understand their suffering and are there to support. This "IT" will become even more epidemic and "IT" will begin to touch the lives of those whom think it can't. We are all good, intelligent, loving and caring people that once contributed so much to our communities and families. Please don't turn away from us. Save yourselves by helping us now even if it is too late for some of us...maybe that is our purpose so here we are and we will not be quiet or go away. Help save humanity from itself...help us please.

My son has been suffering for almost two years with crusted scabies. He has a compromised immune system which makes his healing even harder. I pray that his suffering ends soon. The doctors he has seen have not been as supportive as we hoped. Most had no idea how to treat and not knowledgable about crusted scabies with immune issues. HELP PLEASE!!

People are suffering. Doctors appear to be in over their head and the rampant misdiagnoses resulting in the wrong prescriptions are making it worse. Bugs are resistant to common treatments and the one cure that is listed by the World Health Organization - Benzyl Benzoate, is not even prescribed in this country! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE. Lives are being torn apart. It is unfair to doom the people and especially children who are getting this with a life of misery and pain. Worst of all are the all too common stories of people being called "crazy" or that they are "imagining" it. People are suffering badly enough without the emotional abuse on top of that of dismissing their complaints which results in medical neglect.

I think the only way we are going to get people to acknowledge this as something real, we are going to have to send infested items to famous people. Maybe like the Kardashians, since so many people follow them. If someone well known and outspoken got this, maybe it would get enough media attention for someone to start taking this seriously. I know that sounds cold but if you are going thru this you know that the cold shoulder is what you get from anyone you tell about it. It seems this is spreading at a rapid speed and before long everyone who these things like as a host will be infested. Extreme measures have to be taken for help to be given.

We dont all have exactly same thing but similar to extent its a SKIN PARASITE. For some diatomaceous earth tea tree oil borax peroxide or light bleach bath works wonders but dont assume one size fits all. Some ppl have more resistant strains. Rodent mites many types of bird mites fox mites rat mites cat mites dog mites and so on and they all like FLESH. The medical community is niaeve to think they wont touch human flesh ... of course they will. If you have an animal thats infested too then your looking at that much more of an uphill battle as you pass it pack and forth on and on. Some of these mites can carry secondary bacterial infection leaving one stranded on the toilet. The social parahia feeling or feeling like you have leprosy is depressing. Concerns over infecting others isn't fun either. The personal money spent in desperation of finding something that really works is obscene. Tired of ppl not getting it and not much support. It had an initial hard time spreading to my scalp but eventually did and must have gone to even deeper layers of skin by traveling to deeper hair follicles the result is head is a totally infested mite factory. The mites are quite treatment resistant and wash down all over body everytime i shower. I dont have black specs or white specs or fibers the ones i have are utterly microscopic and aggressive. Based on what i have witnessed these things are poised to hecome epidemic absolutely as they are so sggressive. Dermatologists arent well schooled on parasites and only know permithrin or ivermectin at best. I mean if i could sit in a tub of lanplin for a week totally immersed i think maybe but these little rub on surface creams dont cut it. I pray for us all.

The way the CDC and medical community has responded to this growing epidemic is absolutely shameful. The first rule of medicine, for ALL health care workers, is DO NO HARM. Please take a minute and consider how harmful it would be if you your health began to seriously deteriorate, and you finally can no longer ignore the progression of increasing quantities of bizarre, abnormal debris: strange fibers, balls of things resembling very fine hairs or lint in colors the human body is physically incapable of producing, odd lumps of all manner of things that when examined show very distinct resemblances to grubs, larvae, insect parts. And these parasites aren't harmless, they cause lesions in the skin, unsightly pustules everywhere, on your face! And in addition to the increasing physical illness: headaches, fatigue, vision problems, muscle pain, weight loss, neurological problems, insomnia...the list goes on; in addition you have to try and deal with the absolutely horrible feeling of infestation. Knowing that some kind of parasite, unidentifiable microscopic insect, is living and breeding inside your body. PLEASE take a moment to consider what that would feel like. Then imagine you go to your Dr for help, naturally, as you'd do for any physical ailment. Except your Dr doesn't respond as they would with any other ailment. No tests, no proper examinations. As soon as you mention parasite, or fiber, your Dr becomes dismissive. Starts asking you about the state of your mental health instead of first ruling out physical causes (standard procedure usually) God forbid you brought samples of the things coming out of you in! If you have digestive issues your Dr urges you to bring in samples of your feces, and yet, mysterious skin condition, you bring in samples, not only will they refuse to examine them, they use it against you as part of the DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA for Delusional Parisitosis, an extremely rare condition that presents in a VERY small percentage even in people who suffer from mental illness and most certainly does not correlate with the statistics showing a rapidly increasing percentage if the population suffering from a condition the medical community refuses to even properly investigate. So you leave your Dr's office having been treated with dismissal, apathy, and no assistance whatsoever at best; disgust, condescension, and a psychiatric referral more commonly. You've gone to your trusted healthcare professional in a desperate state, and that's how you're treated. You leave humiliated, being convinced you should question your sanity, and with absolutely no glimmer of hope of finding treatment, compassion, not even professional curiosity which is quite odd; you leave in despair because not only will no one help you, they're going to humiliated you for deigning to seek it. My boyfriend and I have been experiencing creepy crawly sensations and bites (that cannot be seen) for 4 months now. We have had pest control come to our house 3 times, we have both gone to the doctors multiple times and no diagnosis. We have thrown away furniture, we wash or sheets/towels and clothes daily, but had very little success. Or car is invested and boyfriend's desk at work as well. We don't see friends and family. We have spent thousands of dollars in treatment, cleaning products. We need help!

I went to the ER as these black hair like creatures would crawl across my skin. I would try and grab them, they would stop in their tracks and like a razor, disappear into my skin leaving what looked like a scratch bleeding. The ER doctor told me he didn't see anything. He said the marks were from me scratching myself. He did nothing but sent me home with sample cups which i have come to appreciate. I found if i wore light cotton jogging like pants, they would come out and slither around and i could grab the black hair off of my pants with tweezers and put them in my sample container. As i watched,i learned that when they are deprived of oxygen, they change into a white worm. Back to the emergency room because my children were showing signs and getting bit. The doctor saw us and said he would fax over a prescription. I was so upset when i got to the pharmacy to find it was a head lice treatment. In trying to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt, i tried it. All it did was make them mad. I had little white worms leaping from the pores in my scalp. In the sink the would
