Big bags of 25lb salt from say Smart n Final or Costco etc. dump salt salt salt all over the floors!!! A good layer of it. Make a small salt hill put clean milk crate (Many mites can get into plastic so make it a fresh milk crate) sleep sitting. At least you wont wake up w severe reinfection doesnt track as badly as the Diatomacious Earth doesnt painfully get into the eyes of pets like DE can and is CHEAP. By the way CDC please release a statement to either the public at large and or medical establishment which alerts them that it appears there are people having issues with skin mites that are intensifying and it's conceivable there may be new developments and mutations afoot or that there needs to be consideration that previously compiled info on mites may need revision/updating. Thanks.May 24th, 2016Someone from San Francisco, CA writes:
In addendum to previous comment: in lieu of another automated courtesy email please invite the NIH to enroll me into the myiasis studies, I am a prime candidate as my infestation can bee seen with trained eye and I am able to report the matching internal sensation, a decade long , more akin what an infested livestock animal experiences and not able to verbalize..REPORT COMMENTS

I have recently posted about the petition's headline including anything about Morgellon, it is a turnoff, all it got me is another automated courtesy email from my senator, focusing on " Morg" only. The common thread of the post is about parasites presented in a all variations. After nearly 10 years of suffering and research, I have come to the conclusion, that these things are attracted to other parasites or microbial organism that we already harbor within, thus the exclusive host specificity of these things. Btw: how does one confirm or learn of committed suicide from another online sufferer, a stranger ? Surely a family member does not report, they abandoned us a long time ago, so did friends as we are considered crazy or contagious . I do lean toward recent poster' suggestion of hiring our own scientist for testing and representation. I have a lead of a great lab for starters. Costly. All PCR, etc. What is mind boggling is the extensive research done, mostly on animals in regards to aberrant parasitic mutation, however, inconceivable to apply the same to humans. Surely, those research abstracts will never reach a clinican' s desk, they can barely keep up with the current literature about commonly known diseases.REPORT COMMENTS

I have had to quit babysitting my grandchildren, I'm afraid to go to Dr. appts, or out into public so as not to contaminate others. This is MADDENING..at first my husband and I felt as if we had spider webs on our faces, kept wiping, but it didn't stop. Then I went to the mirror, took off my glasses, put my face close to the mirror and SAW it crawling on my face. I put it in a bowl of rubbing alcohol. Now we have MANY in the bowls. It looks like when you open a fine grain pepper shaker and some spills out. Sometimes I can't even see them on my face up close, because I believe those are the nymphs. Sometimes they are black, some are white and some are too small to see (nymphs)REPORT COMMENTS

It's like chemical warfare or something. And to have to come up with ways of our own to try and kill these things is beyond crazy. Looks like were all on our own people maybe Obama will get them for something to be done about this nightmare. I pray for us all!REPORT COMMENTS

Symptoms for Delusions of Parasitosis (dop) 1. Patient uses sharp objects to remove the Bugs from their skin. 2. Patient thinks their skin is infested with ?Invisible? Bugs. 3. Patient is extreme in cleaning their house. 4. Patient discards belongings. 5. Patient abandons home. 6. Most patients are women. 7. Patient treats their skin with strong chemicals to kill the Bugs. 8. Most patients are middle-aged or older. 9. Patient refuses to believe it could be something else. 10. Patient is eager to show samples of bugs. 11. Folie à Deux, another person in the family gets the Bugs. 12. Patient can describe the life and behavior of the Bug, perfectly. 13. Patient has trouble sleeping at night. 14. Patient uses hallucinatory or amphetamine drugs. 15. Patient becomes socially isolated. 16. Patient thinks his dog or cat got it. 17. The Bugs persist for years. 18. Bugs usually come after some major event in the person?s life. 19. Patients come from any Socioeconomic or Educational level. 20. Patient loves to go ?Doctor Shopping?. Common Sense Criticism of the Symptoms of Delusions of Parasitosis DOP 1. Probably a symptom. 2. Mites are microscopic. The human eye cannot see them. 3. Dust mites, scabies, and lice require extreme cleaning. 4. Mites multiply fast and get in fabrics. These fabrics must be removed. 5. No one helps these people. So, in desperation they move. 6. Not an abnormal behavior. 7. People become desperate because they have no repellant. 8. Not an abnormal behavior. 9. Not an abnormal reaction to a contradiction of truth. 10. Probably abnormal. Mites are microscopic. You can?t see them. 11. Mites are contagious. 12. Probably a symptom. 13. Mites bite, even when we sleep. 14. Probably a symptom. Invisible bugs are famous among drug users. 15. Mites are contagious and force honorable people into isolation. 16. If we can get Mites from pets, then pets can get Mites from us. 17. With no help from anyone, this is very, very possible. 18. Not an abnormal behavior 19. Not an abnormal behavior 20. Our disconnected medical system, forces people to go shopping. The question is this, If psychiatry created this list of symptoms; and if every doctor and scientist in the world knows about this list; then, that means thousands of people have these symptoms. It, also, means that doctors examined these people and found nothing. But, if doctors examined these people and found nothing, than, where are the Research Papers that prove the bugs don?t exist? Well, these Papers don?t exist, either, because No one examined these people with a microscope. Not surprisingly, for years, one of the symptoms for DOP was, Patient feels invisible bugs crawling across their face. Then, a university discovered a microscopic Mite (Demodex) that crawls across your face. So, they dropped that symptom from the list. Slick!!REPORT COMMENTS

I've been dealing with this problem since late October. Not only have I been labeled crazy but now a drug addict. I spend all my money on hotels rental cars (my car got infested) vet visits (my dogs were affected. So when my parents took the side of these horrible doctors either go to rehab or be cut off I had literally no choice. This has actually ruined my life. I lost my job because of it and the respect of the only people I have to rely on. I will tell everyone that I did get rid of them from my body by taking 3mg of oral ivermectin everyday for 7 days and then leaving my surrounding made a big difference. Taking hydroxozyne really helps as well. My poor boyfriend is still dealing with new bites at our house. It's like I'm watching a bad movie and it won't end. Someone please help us. Please.REPORT COMMENTS

This is real people ! I am living the bird mite nightmare. They DO live & breed on humans & it is horrific. I caught a specimen on my body & entemology identified it as a bird mite & still the doctors don't believe me. Ivermectin does not always work & im still struggling to rid myself of these demons. Hundreds of dollars spent on chemicals, oils , potions & throwing away possessions. Mental anguish of not being able to sleep & the horror of these things crawling in your ears, nose, eyes & EVERYWHERE on your body. Then to top it all off you are labeled 'delusional' without proper assessment. Funny how no one believes you yet they won't touch you !! It is serious & infectious. I contemplated suicide if I could rid these from my body & I'm still fighting.REPORT COMMENTS

People, who have these Mites, will have them until they die. No one will help them. ? No medical or scientifi c organization will help them. ? No major Pest Control Company will help them. ? No medical or scientifi c research will help them.. ? No laboratory or laboratory test will help them. ? No Miticide or Mite repellent will help them. ? No pharmaceutical company will help them. ? No hospital emergency room will help them. ? No health insurance company will help them ? No government agency will help them ? No doctor or scientist will help them. ? No Walk-In Clinic will help them. ? No Nurses Hotline will help them. ? No 911 paramedic will help them. ? No pharmacy will help them. ? No politician or political party will help them. No one will help them because no one believes these Mites exist. No one believes they exist because 1. Doctors tell us they don?t exist. But, how do they know when they don?t examine people with microscopes? 2. Scientists tell us they don?t exist. But, how do they know when they?re not allowed to examine people? They must refer the people to doctors. 3. Psychiatrists tell us they don?t exist. But, how do they know when they?re not allowed to examine people. They must refer the people to doctors. As you can see, Doctors and Scientists are not working together, using modern technology. For this reason ? No one found these Mites. And, therefore, ? Psychiatrists were forced to call these people, Psychotic. ? Drug companies did not make a Miticide to kill these Mites in our home, nor a Mite Repellent to keep them off our body, nor a Drug to kill them inside our body, if they become parasites. It?s a vicious circle of the blind leading the blind with Dermatologists leading the blind. America spends trillions of dollars on Health Care. But, the World Health Organization ranks America 72nd in Health Care. And, a major health insurance company says 50% of the money is wasted. Even worse, our county, state, and federal departments of health are costly duplications of backward, disconnected health care services.REPORT COMMENTS

May 18th, 2016Someone from Orlando, FL writes:
If you're afflicted and reading this, do not give up. You are not alone. This is not your fault. This is becoming, or has already become an epidemic. Super-resilient, microscopic, parasitic animals that are invisible to the naked eye are feeding on our blood and thriving on our bodies and in our homes. Areas of high heat and humidity, airports, airplanes, bus stations, buses, cars, taxis, homes, offices, everywhere is a perfect breeding ground. Symptoms are very similar to the Scabies mite, but they behave more similarly to fleas-- meaning no physical contact is necessary to spread infestation. For all we know, multiple new species of parasitic mite have genetically adapted to thrive on humans. Exoparasites reproduce in such large numbers, and at such a rapid rate that genetic adaptation is not out of the question at all. I have been symptomatic for nearly two years. As I type this, I am being bitten. No spot on my body is off-limits to this creature. Crawling sensations, itching, isolated pain and numbness are a constant presence in my life. I have a strong will to live, and a very durable mind. Others are not so lucky. Many have already committed suicide. Thousands, tens of thousands, perhaps millions of people have the same symptoms. They are being called delusional by doctors, etymologists, dermatologists, psychiatrists... virtually every kind of professional capable of helping the problem. The entire system is dismissing this as "nothing", when in fact it is quite possibly the biggest "something" to ever happen in modern society. I will never give up, I will never let go, and I will never let this affliction prevent me from living a normal life. For now there is no cure, only management of symptoms. The constant struggle originally brought me to the brink of suicide. However, after discovering this petition, I was filled with hope. I am not alone. This is not my fault. This is not going away. While the symptoms-- just an itchy annoyance, really-- are fairly tolerable in the grand scheme of things, the potential for disease transmission is alarming and we would do well not to ignore it much longer. I often fear that it's already too late. No one is immune, everyone will eventually be afflicted, and a new approach needs to be taken. The longer we wait, the closer we come to a slow, agonizing epidemic. Please help us. And if you won't do it for us, do it for yourselves. Your children.REPORT COMMENTS
