I'm very curious how many of us have these on their face as well as everywhere else and how many people have recently developed these symptoms from Florida alone. Whatever it is, it is highly spreadable. We got it from a baby we were babysitting and I know that everyone who babysat for this baby is no longer talking to the parents. I'm working on getting a count of exactly how many people are experiencing different stages of whatever this is by the help of the baby's parents (who are friends of mine, still). I am also curious if everyone has cats or dogs. Wish there was a way to contact everyone and do a pole. -

I am losing this battle. My boyfriend is leaving me because he thinks i am crazy. I have had these crawling, stinging, biting sensations for 5 weeks. I became symptomatic over a year ago and thought it was hair follicle mites, things cleared up within 4 months of having it and all of the sudden 5 weeks ago all hell broke lose! I thought it was springtails or morgellons. My bf has done everything to make me feel comfortable i go to weekly therapy visits and i clean everything top to bottom and nothing works i am suicidal at times, dont want to visit family in fear of this spreading. Please someone find a cure. I cant live like this anymore please!! Every hour is a complete nightmare!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I have no hope for answers or a cure. I have been sick for 3 yrs, after tiny black gnats entered my home. The black dots, white worms, hair loss, intense scalp and ear itching, white lint, moving hairs, divorces, families torn apart, diagnosed delusional, suicides, worms in hair follicles instead of hair, in eyes, nose, mouth, nose, under nails, under skin, hair and tooth loss, colored fibers that dry up like string, microscope pics with proof, but no place to mail it, and nobody who cares, wants to hear about it, or believes you. Why does our country care so little for its own sick, hungry, poor, homeless, jobless.....yet care so much, provide and give away so much, for not only other countries, but for hostile, hateful and thankless peoples, who throw away everything we send to them and will always blow us up, kill those that defend us and hate every American they never met. Maybe it is the world coming to an end...when your doctor who has known you for 30 years can look you in the eye and call you crazy, your spouse can scream, threaten and call you psycho and want a divorce, adult children want nothing to do with you, grandchildren you have loved with all your heart since the moment they were born , turn their back on you, neighbors laugh behind your back and gossip, you get let go from a job you worked at for years because you can not stop itching and scratching or think straight, and every retirement dollar you ever saved is gone. There IS NO LIFE for the victims of this illness, define THE END OF THE WORLD..TELL ME, what the end of the world is..... BRING IT ON! For the victims of this disease...life being OVER would bring relief.REPORT COMMENTS

I have been suffering for 11 months now. I have been to 14 diffrent Doctors. Spent thousand of dollars, still nothing!!! the Doctors seem to bve at a loss. They all say the same thing!!! They think i am nuts! I have permant scars on my face, no eyebrows or eylashes from theses tiny little monsters that nobody seems to know anything about.I have took pictures and videos to. You name it i have tryed it! From oils to borax bathes just to get some kind of relief. The CDC says if it is not contagious they can't do anything? Are you kidding me????? How am i to know if theses little devils are contagious??? I am not a Doctor, but they don't seem to know the answers either. It's easyier for them to say it is a Phyobia or i am crazy. A Friend had a microscope i used and sure enough, there was something there! It looked like a tiny worm like thing,Theses things live in the hair folical and are almost invisable to the Human eye. I feel as if i am in a nightmare! PLEASE< someone, anyone that knows what kind of mite like devils theses are please let me know!REPORT COMMENTS

I have had these sores/lesions/ ulcers for over 2 years..I believe I came into contact with them at a hospital..I had at one time over 150...then down to 100 and for the past few months around 35..they burn ,bite, stab and nothing works to keep them under control..I am staying away from people so they won't come into contact with them..they are all over my house wrapped up in little threads around a hair from me..if you hold the hair up and let the threadbare end down, whatever is inside tried to attach itself to you..I sure wish a cure was in sight. Not so keen on the Petition headline, the urge and surge, disease deal. It is a most phenomenal affliction affecting thousands of people in all variations, how can one explain this ever persistent parasites that withstands all interventions, that affects all aspects of daily living and comfort, these things all invasive, every orifice of the body and skin, scalp, hair, nose, eyes, throat, mouth. Fleas and lice and scabies and bedbugs is a stroll in the park compared to this relentless affliction happened to humans.REPORT COMMENTS

My husband and I bought a new vacation home in upstate NY. Everything was fine for a few weeks till I let my cat out. She started itching and a few days later i was itching and started feeling crawling on my body. We thought it was fleas, then bird mites then eventually I noticed my cat had dandruff and some eggs on her. I also noticed a white spec jump off of me. We've come to the conclusion it's an aggressive version of the Cheyletiella mite also know as walking dandruff. Our cat is being treated as are we, but this has now spread to our apartment in the city and our van. With a daily cleaning regime and treatment we are now on the upswing, but the end is nowhere in sight. It's seems these aggressive mites that normally feed on animals are easily infesting humans. My opinion is that these pesticides and cleaning products that kill 99.9% of germs have created these .1% super bugs that we are all plagued by. Some things that work on one persons problem, don't work on another. It's very frustrating, but don't give up the battle.REPORT COMMENTS

OK folks what about an affordable cryotherapy mist device for multiple multiple home treatments? Effectively quick freezing sections of top layers of skin. Spa too expensive. When this does hit as an offciial epidemic (soon) and CDC finally tries to take action remember this post.. the pharmacuetical creams are a joke these monsters are on steroids.REPORT COMMENTS

This is becoming a big problem in average, normal families in American. I am in the medical field, I have never seen anything like this before. Currently I am back in school as a major in microbioogy. If you notice most of the people complaining about this problem have been in the past year, although some have been dated further back, the majority of posts are within the past year. Meaning the number of American families with this problem is increasing, as I write this in April 3, 2016. I hope to find an answer for these people. It is not right and it will eventually reach your household before anyone really starts to listen. God blessREPORT COMMENTS

We are apparently beating a dead horse here, as 1,125 signatures on this petition aren't going to be enough to get the attention of the general public. I believe the "powers that be" as well as the medical profession, is fully aware of the issue at hand. I suffered in silence for a very long time, mortified at the thought of someone discovering my condition. There must be untold numbers of individuals out there, who are suffering, but don't want anyone to know. I bet the actual count of people with this affliction is staggering. It will be "the people" who speak out about this tragic situation that will force "the powers that be" to do something about it. Please urge anyone you know (who cares) to sign this petition, and make some noise. It's the only chance we have. The government already knows....it's a numbers game.REPORT COMMENTS

I am so close to going to the emergancy room and telling them i have an ingrown hair, then take a pair of my nylon leggins and hair brush from a bag and scrape these (I Don't See Anything according to the ER doctor) into the next pair of rubber gloves he puts on to check me. And see how he likes feeling like a human corn cobb infested by silk worm larva, I bet that topical cream will be as effective to fight off these ninja biting bastards, as using it to brush your teeth and expecting it to fight cavities, which is probably more conceivable than it is for treating this nightmare.REPORT COMMENTS

The best part is when they munch on your ears and all you have left for ears are two miserable major scabs that are difficult to hide with makeup (disgusting) and because the mite is a micro-mite on steroids that roams and is difficult to get a sample of the doctors label you as delusioal parasitosis?!??! Your going through the worst hell on earth with no support or light at the end of the tunnel. AIDS will be cured before this. At least with cancer or AIDS you can sleep in your own bed without getting attacked . I pace at night and sleep in the park for a few hours during the day. No quality of life. CDC please put a task force on this now and start exploring effective soloutions like the lousebuster but used for mites or lazer or stronger chitonase enyzyme therapy. This is a coming epidemic to be sure and it is irresponsable to not come into full action. People dont have the exact same thing but variations of same theme i.e. something breeding proliferating under the skin. HelpREPORT COMMENTS
